I couldn’t seem to put the book down. A few sleepless nights trying to just finish the book so I could find out what happens. Love the characters!
Wonderful book..have purchased and read all in the series! Unusual for me.
Interesting premise, something a little different which is getting harder to find. Good enough I would the next in the series.
What a good clean story with great characters. It starts out with Jade and Chelsea as best friends and Aiden is Jades boyfriend. Jade soon finds out that she is not like everyone else. That changes how she sees and thinks about things. There are lots of questions to be answered and it also takes time to get used to lots of new things that keep changing in Jades life. I hope that you enjoy this action-packed story.
Enjoyed the series.
I don’t usually write reviews but these books got me on my e-reader for hours.. you totally have to read them. Thanks Kelly Carrero
Too much teen sex all approved by the parents
Decent story but to much gore and advocating for teen sex.
This is a great set to read with awesome storylines that have well developed and engaging characters with lots of chemistry. The smooth flow of the storylines makes for a great reading time.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Great story once started you will want to continue.
Too much romance and concerns about appearance and not enough character and story
This is one of the series that readers need to know, it’s a continued story of Jade and the books need to be read in order. It’s also a series that teens to young at heart might enjoy. It is entertaining and unpredictable, but also leaves a lot of unanswered questions.
Jade is a senior in high school and has a boyfriend, Aiden. Jade’s Mom, is said to be a very active reporter and seems to be gone on job investigations, more then being home with Jade. Jade’s father is not around, and was told he had left them before Jade was born. Jade is in a car accident, and should have been killed in it, with the type of injuries she had, but she watched her injuries heal before her eyes and didn’t know what to do. (1st question; How did she get to be like that??
Her mother didn’t seem to notice and wasn’t concerned about the injuries, and even leaves Jade alone, and a note to take off from school? Naturally Jade goes to school, wanting to face her friends, letting them know she was alive. Her best friend Chelsea is asking all kinds of questions, leading Jade to touch her shoulders to try to quiet her, but Jade receives a horrible vision and Jade ends up blacked out, waking to being sprayed with flame retardant, as she had knocked the Bunsen burner, catching her clothes on fire, yet not receiving burns from it. She panics running out of the classroom, with friends and teachers trying to catch her.
Jade’s boyfriend comes to her rescue, taking her home after explaining she was fine, and wiping the memory of everything from the teachers, and EMT’s. Thus begins the twist and turns of Jade learning she was different, and immoral, but not learning any of the truth from her Mother, but from Aiden’s sister, that ends up being Aiden’s mother….are you keeping up? My next question; How could there be people that never get old and die? #3 How can they have children and that they never get older then their twenties?
As the story and tragedies mount in the 2nd book; Why doesn’t Jade’s mother explain anything to her? Where is grandparents? Why would anyone want to be harming Jade?
IMO, and I know I’m not a writer, and applaud those that do, but as a reader, I feel the author could have made the complete story into 2 books. Needs to watch the redundant remarks and the teleporting back and forth got a little tiresome, dragging the story at times. It needs to be stated that the books are not stand alone stories and readers need to purchase all books or a complete set, to hopefully get a ending.
i recommend this but spoiler alert it ends on a cliffhanger so be ready to find a third book. but this book is really interesting and is a page turner is how i would describe it
I liked it and will read the rest of the series
Can’t wait for the next book
Great read.
Fun to read!
too far out even for me!
Great book with wonderful characters. You can imagine which ones of your friends would be each character.
The main character is very whiny. She keeps jumping around running from place to place, running away from her responsibilities and problems, and just causes more problems for herself.
