The classic Evil Under the Sun, one of the most famous of Agatha Christie’s Poirot investigations, has the fastidious sleuth on the trail of the killer of a sun-bronzed beauty whose death brings some rather shocking secrets into the light. The beautiful bronzed body of Arlena Stuart lay face down on the beach. But strangely, there was no sun and Arlena was not sunbathing…she had been strangled.… sunbathing…she had been strangled.
Ever since Arlena’s arrival the air had been thick with sexual tension. Each of the guests had a motive to kill her, including Arlena’s new husband. But Hercule Poirot suspects that this apparent “crime of passion” conceals something much more evil.

Always like Christie characters. This one wasnt the best but i still enjoyed it
I used to adore Agatha Christie novels, but over the years, some of them haven’t held up for me. This is one of them. I gave it 3 stars. That’s historically low for me and her books.
Love it. One of the greatest author.
For an Agatha Christie fan this is one of her best.
Typical Agatha!!!
One of Christie’s best. Wonderful characters keeps you turning pages Loved it
One of AC’s best. tHis story kept me guessing. Just when I thought it was figured out, it took another turn. Very good read !!!!
Love Agatha Christie stories. So much fun to read without the blood and gore of so many mystery books.
Just when I thought I had figured the murderer, I was wrong again. Love her books
Fun!!
Excellent, typical Agatha Christie. You don’t see the end coming, but when the murderer is revealed, it is extremely logical and you wonder how you missed it. It is a very enjoyable read.
Another great by A.C. You can never go wrong with Agatha.
If you’re a fan of Agatha Christie novels, you will love just about anything she writes. I love that I can read her books over and over, and they never get dull. Poirot is both an iconic and idiosyncratic character, which makes for delightful reading no matter the scenario. If you like murder mysteries, you’ll appreciate this.
I loved this, again! How could you go wrong with the man with “the little grey cells?” You have all the clues, you see and hear all the detective does, so you have a fair chance of figuring it out. It was an enjoyable and entertaining read. Good story that is clean but engaging! I recommend for teens and up. Parents introduce your kids to good …
It is impossible to figure it out on your own. The author has info the reader doesn’t have.
Slow going at the beginning but better later on.
Amazing plot and Hercule Poirot is my favourite.
