Fate. Destiny. Whatever you wanted to call it, Macy Caldwell was mine. She had a chance to get out of this town, but she refused to take it. She was going to give up everything for me. I wasn’t worth that kind of sacrifice. In order to save her, I had to break her. The night Nash Masters broke my heart was the catalyst for the ruin that came after. All these years later, he was fighting for my … these years later, he was fighting for my forgiveness.
He had no idea I was the one who needed his.
The truth didn’t always set you free.
They said love conquered all, but this was war.
And everything worth having was worth fighting for.

My first book by this author I read purely on the cover. My second book, Everything Worth Fighting For, I read because she blew me away with the first book …. I am still very impressed!
The story reads very easy. It’s not really complicated to figure out what will happen if you read at the rate I do. However, I was still some what surprised when the plot points happened. She could have taken this story in a lot of different directions but this was a perfect one for the world she has created.
It’s a small town/second chance journey for these two and they’ve been in love since they were kids and they come from different *sides* of the tracks (if you get my meaning) and well, just read the story and find out what else LOL This story is not necessarily tied to Everything I Ever Wanted, but they are in the same world and it wouldn’t hurt for you to read it. Plus, I loved it so there’s that 😉
Overall, I’m very happy with the feelings I get when I read this author. My heart is happy and I’m entertained. So go forth and enjoy!
Nash and Macy were childhood friends turned to high school sweethearts, firsts in everything especially heartbreak when Macy walked in on Nash kissing another girl. She left and went off to college only to come back to her home town years later and none of her feelings for Nash has changed but she can’t forget that night she caught him . . . and she has her own demons she is keeping from him.
Macy’s “secret” was totally predictable. And Nash’s reasoning was totally predictable as well. While all of their drama was predictable I still enjoyed this story and I enjoyed another glimpse into Jaxson Cove. I liked Macy and Nash and I respected all of the feelings that they all felt/went through despite it all being predicable.
The first book in this duet captivated me and I was so excited to read book 2 Everything Worth Fighting For and it did not disappoint, this emotional rollercoaster was everything I expected and so much more. Marcy and Nash’s story touched me on so many levels. I laughed, I cried and at times I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall but every emotion I felt was worth it because this is a beautifully written second chance romance that captivated me from the first page to the last line. I loved everything about this book, the characters and the story and I highly recommend this gem of a read.
K Street is a relatively new author to me but that will change because I have fallen in love with her stories, her characters and she has fast become an author I recommend to anyone who will listen. Looking forward to reading more from this very talented author.
5 star review Everything Worth Fighting For by K.Street
AUDIO REVIEW:
The first book I listened to within a day and I immediately one clicked this one and again listened to this one. This one really resonated with me and I have to say that Callie Dalton and Teddy Hamilton did an outstanding job with the narration. They certainly did this emotional and entertaining book justice.
Loved it.
What to say about this book … ALL THE FEELS. I laughed at this book, had butterflies and even shed a few tears. I have come to expect these things from K. Street as ALL of her books are emotionally charged. Nash and Macy were beautifully written and this story is a down to earth everyday romance. Nothing that you wouldn’t see in any town anywhere. I love that about this story. Well written and beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
This was a wonderful second chance romance between two childhood friends. There was a lot of emotion in this book much like the first book. I just absolutely loved Nash and loved how he didn’t give up on Macy even after 10 years. When they finally decided to give it another shot we knew there was something huge she was keeping from Nash. When it’s revealed I wasn’t sure if they would be able to move past it. I had all the feels for this book. I really enjoy her writing and look forward to reading more from this author.

~~4.5 “Beeautiful” STARS! ~~
“When you love someone, you fight for them. You storm the gates of hell to slay their demons.”
K. Street brings us back to Jaxson Cove in EVERYTHING WORTH FIGHTING FOR and I never EVER wanted to leave!
I first fell in love with the author’s writing—and the big-hearted residents of this quaint, homespun town—in EVERYTHING I NEVER WANTED and was therefore very psyched for Nash and Macy’s sweet, angsty, second chance tale! And wow did she deliver!
Gah…the feels were OFF THE CHARTS in this second standalone installment in the Jaxson Cove duet! I could not stop swooning and sighing and clutching my heart, and I just relished each and every moment! This gorgeously penned story was just so beautifully crafted, the turmoil resonated deeply, and the heartfelt romance and the hot, sexy times took my breath away.
Nash and Macy, former high school sweethearts who were torn apart in their youth yet are passionately reunited years ten later, have the kind of captivating chemistry that’s just PURE STORYBOOK MAGIC. I have read a myriad of second chance romances over the years, but this one burrowed itself inside my heart in such a UNIQUELY PROFOUND way. And it’s all courtesy of K. Street’s innate ability to write with such raw, bridled emotion and make me care so much about these two central characters. And I think what makes this romance so special to me is the purity, the RIGHTNESS of this union. I truly felt the pain, the anguish, the joy, the regret, the heartache, and most of all, the eternal love between this H&h. As Mama J. so sagely said, “If there were ever two souls fated to be together” it’s Macy and Nash.
Nash was the ULTIMATE broodingly sexy blue collar BBF! I really was drawn to his tantalizing blend of rugged masculinity and sweet sensitivity! He was not only big, strong and fiercely protective, with a hot trigger temper when pushed to the brink, yet at that same time, so gentle and chivalrous he made me weak in the knees! And although he had made his fair shred of missteps in the past, his heart was always in the right place and his adoration for his beautiful “Bee” was infinite! Plus, as a hunky auto mechanic who works with his hands, he inspired plenty of filthy fantasies on my part! (Hee hee!)
And Macy was a TOTAL SWEETHEART! A winning combo of sweet and sassy with a hefty heaping of aching vulnerability thrown in, she was very relatable and oh so endearing. I truly connected with every facet of this heroine–her heartbreak and sorrow, courage and resilience, on a guttural level.
Both Macy and Nash are achingly real and beautifully flawed, and both made grievous mistakes that altered the course of their lives, but they owned up to them rather than playing the blame game. Which I SO appreciated. And I also admired how throughout the majority of the story they worked on rebuilding their shattered trust and reclaiming what they once lost—exposing their hearts and giving each other all their “ugly, fractured pieces” as opposed to the author taking the easy predictable route and forcing the reader to suffer through prolonged separations, contrived misunderstandings or pages upon pages of OTT drama.
Not gonna lie some of the scenes ripped me to shreds—-but there was NEVER a doubt in my mind that these two truly had a love worth fighting for! And while the road to HEA was filled with tumult the journey these lovable, dynamic characters embarked on to find their way back together was heartfelt and beautiful and the payoff so richly deserved! Speaking of which, OMG I LOOOVED the double epilogues! And the icing on the cake? We had plenty of Tucker, Camryn and Shay cameos throughout to keep me smiling in delight!
BOTTOM LINE:
I have so much love for EVERYTHING WORTH FIGHTING FOR! It’s a treasure trove of awesomeness, and I can’t wait to find out what the marvelously talented K. Street has in store for us next!
This book was another solid offering from this author. It was everything you could want in a romance novel. Macy and Nash have loved each other from childhood and one incident tore them apart for years. The push and pull between them was angsty and emotional and worth every word! We also get caught up with Tucker, Camryn and Shayne!
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Amazing job
This is one heart felt read. I laughed, cried, and loved the journey to Nash and Macy’s hea. Recommend reading
I DEVOURED THIS BOOK!!!
The the sequel to one of my top reads for 2018, Everything I Never Wanted. We lucked up on KU when we found Mrs. Streets books and since I’ve read all of them.
This is a second chance romance between childhood best friends that eventually fall in love. Nash decides to lie to Macy and make her think he is into someone else so she wouldn’t stay in Jaxson Cove, she would go off to college and live her dream. What he doesn’t know is something major and life changing happens to Macy and she handles this all on her own but keeps the secret for a decade and in turn that kind of bites her in the ass.
I loved this book! Mainly because the writing is so amazing and the plot is so good. It wasn’t as good as the first one mind you but still a solid 4.5 star read for me!!

I loved Everything I Never Wanted and I love Everything Worth Fighting For!! Nash and Macy was such a beautiful story. Macy’s spitfire attitude made laugh and their love and hardships they went through made me ugly cry! If you haven’t read either book yet, I suggest you take a trip to Jackson Cove and enjoy the ride!!! Happy Reading!
I loved this book. Macy & Nash’s story is beautifully written. I highly recommend it.
Macy & Nash – steamy! Second chance romance! Friends to lovers!
This story It made me melt reading it! You can feel the anguish Nash feels over their history and how things ended. Macy is scared because of what he did. You feel the frustration because the attraction is life changing! But, I can’t imagine how she felt seeing him all the time because of their mutual friends. This story makes you believe love does exist after years passing by. You see how he felt and the justification from the years before. But sometimes, we have to let the past go and live for the moment. You see her finally let go of her fears and let Nash in!! One life change moment for them both.
I have loved this story – by bringing back the characters from book one – to Macy and Nash. I can’t wait to read what else is coming from Jaxon Cove!!
Buy it today! You won’t regret it!!
We first meet Macy and Nash in Everything I Never Wanted and you just know there’s a rough story between them. And wow! What a story!
Macy and Nash started out as friends and became more in high school. Hearts were broken and now you have adults that love each other but there’s lots of pain as well as anger. Secrets are kept by both of them and as they are revealed, you feel every emotion with them.
From their first interaction together to the last page, the main thing you feel in this book is the love between them. But you can also feel the pain and anguish that they’ve been thru. K. Street did an amazing job of making Macy and Nash’s story come alive and she leaves you wanting more!
This Jaxson Cove book was just as amazing as I knew it would be. After meeting Nash and Macey in Tucker’s book, we knew we needed more of them. They have such a heartbreaking history together and their chemistry is undeniable. Can they find their way back together through love and forgiveness? I also loved getting to catch up with Tucker, Camryn and adorable Shayne!
I fell in love with these characters in Jaxson Cove in Everything I Never Needed, and I was quite anxious to read Nash and Macy’s story. And I’m glad that I did!
Nash and Macy grew up together, and everyone was convinced that these two would end up together. But at the end of high school, Nash broke Macy’s heart. He had the best of intentions, but it left years of hurt and anger, which was difficult for Macy to get over (understandably). They have mutual friends, though, which complicates their interactions, and ultimately forces them to spend time together, time in which they can work through their issues.
I really loved this story! I think the only thing that bothered me was that the last 1/3 of the book felt rushed. I would have preferred to get more from Macy’s dad and more detail in the epilogue. Overall, though, I loved it!!
When Nash hurt Macy all those years ago he just knew in his heart she would forgive him. He never expected 10 years later she would still be angry and cold towards him. He knew it was the right thing to do even if it hurt him to do it.
Macy was devastated the day Nash hurt her. Even 10 years later it still hurts her to the core, she’s continued to struggle with the hurt and pain and guilt from back then. Even now it didn’t seem to hurt any less.
Can they overcome all the pain and guilt they both have in order to move past it? The longer you harbor a secret the more impossible it feels to tell. What if it’s really as unforgivable as it seems? Can the truth set them free or will it tear them even further apart?
True love is rare and it’s worth fighting for, but sometimes love breaks you. Every piece of you. Sometimes love doesn’t conquer all and sometimes you have to be able to let the hurt and the past go in order to pick up the pieces and move forward.
Macy and Nash were fire from the beginning. I loved how much you could feel the heat between the two of them. This book was such a rollercoaster of emotions, there were ups and downs and they were so raw and relatable, my heart was overflowing with love and subsequently breaking completely in half. Nash was everything I wanted and more. He was sensual in the best way! Even when he wasn’t trying to be. I could feel the love between him and Macy, I just wanted to strangle the stubbornness out of them both at times. Macy’s hurt was something most can relate with. When you are young and in love and think you have life all figured out and then all of a sudden it’s like the earth turns on it’s axis and throws everything out of whack.
The secrets and twists in this story are unexpected and unpredictable. I was so smug thinking I had it all figured out, boy was I wrong!
This book was unputdownable (not a word.. but we’re going with it!) I devoured it in one sitting! It’s so good! Well worth the read
“In the aftermath of a war, on a battlefield of shared brokenness, we began to heal.”
Everything Worth Fighting For was my very first book by K. Street and I really can’t tell you how much I loved this second chance romance. I cried real tears in this book… Nash and Macy’s love was epic and yet so broken with tragedy. The very first chapter grabbed my attention and the story that K. Street wove thereafter was powerful. But just as Nash and Macy find one another again and begin to heal their broken hearts, the anguish of secrets rips them apart and I lost it… full on ugly cried. This story is told in dual perspectives and I loved the fullness it brought to the story. I also loved how character driven the book was and how much Nash and Macy grew, as individuals and together. The story is beautiful, angsty, sexy as hell, and sweet all rolled up into one. It’s absolutely a five-star read, and I urge you to one-click this story today. I have already purchased the previous book in the series, Everything I Never Wanted because after reading Nash and Macy’s story, I simply have to read Tucker and Camryn’s book. (Side note: you can totally read Everything Worth Fighting For as a standalone even though it’s the second book in the Jackson Cove series. I truly had no trouble following the story.)
*4,5 stars*
This was my second read from this author and I am really enjoying her writing. This one is definitely a read that will pull on your heartstrings no matter who’s side you’ll be on when you’re reading this book. A great second chance romance book that will leave you swooning!
After Macy came back to live in the town she left years ago, there’s one person she is trying to avoid like the plague and avoids running into; after he broke her heart into a million pieces that awful day. But there’s a secret she has kept to her for a long time now and doesn’t really know how to deal with it anymore. It gets even worse now Nash is trying to mend her broken heart, to try and win her back. Even though there’s still a deep connection between them, Macy finds it hard to trust again but the love between them is growing stronger every single day. Will Nash find a way to break down her walls or will the secret she still holds between them tear them apart again?…
Another 10++ star favorite read from this author! Her stories are consistently brilliantly written, emotional gold, and this fits right in. We get a glimpse of our main characters in book 1, and that glimpse was so potent, they needed their own story. Nash & Macy have history, and the have things they need to work through to get to their HEA.
Their journey to that HEA is rough, but also always full of love. I laughed, I cried, I rooted for them! I smiled at their banter (and their interactions w/ young Shayne, awwww!) and swooned with their steam, cried with their heartaches and enjoyed every single page read.
Amazing read, re-read, and recommendation! : )
