This fun, light-hearted book teaches children that it’s OK to feel angry—in fact, everybody gets angry, including Dad, Mom, Grammy, the dog, and even the neighborhood squirrel! And everybody gets happy again!
I think this is a great simple book to help children understand that everyone gets angry, but they work out their problems and not everyone stays angry

Educational and fun with a touch of whimsy. The preschool children that I read it to got a better understanding of how everyone else feels. The pictures were amusing and appropriate. I enjoyed reading it with them.

Just looking to see how it dealt with the topic. Clearly geared toward PK aged children (3-5). A good fit to start the discussion. For more older children adding in ways to actually handle the angry would make it an older age appropriate story.

This book was extremely age appropriate. The concept of anger was expressed in simple language for ease of comprehension. I would have preferred though that a scenario or two were included which let children know that even when they get angry there is a correct way and an incorrect way to express their anger.

I love reading books to my daughters that teach them that it is ok to have the feelings they have. I enjoy getting to help them learn that anger is appropriate at times, but can easily be replaced with happiness.
