From New York Times bestselling author Joanne DeMaio comes a novel of one unforgettable week at the shore — during a summer that changes everything.
Every summer has a story. That couldn’t be more true for Jason and Maris Barlow, the Bradford brothers, soon-to-be innkeepers Elsa and Celia, and the rest of The Seaside Saga cast. But this particular summer is leaving its mark on the New England … England beach town of Stony Point. As lone lobsterman Shane settles in for another week at his rented bungalow by the sea, emotional tides turn. Relationships come unmoored; secret love affairs surface; family bonds are tested.
So head under the trestle, walk the cottage-lined streets, sit on the sandy boardwalk, and spend Every Summer with your favorite beach friends. They’re waiting for you.

I just love this Seaside Saga series and am always excited for my next visit back to Stony Point. Every Summer picks up where the previous book ended and we are dropped back into the lives Jason, Maris, Shane, Celia, Elsa and all the rest. It’s like visiting with old friends again.
This story is a little more fraught with tension and drama than others in the past, as couples try to figure out their lives and as brothers try to reconcile a divide of fifteen years. It was definitely a page turner as I wanted to make sure everyone was going to be okay, and happy.
And then….. the reader is left with not everything being resolved and not everyone in a happy place. I really need the next book! Luckily Joanne’s next book is coming out in May so I don’t have long to wait. I love my visits to Stony Point and can’t wait to go back again soon.
Once again the friends of Stony Point are in flux and flow like the sea. Relationships are healed, new relationships are blossoming, but others are perhaps irrevocably broken. I wish there was a real Stony Point that I could visit. But for now I will look forward to reading every book the author writes about my friends in Stony Point.
Every Summer (The Seaside Saga #10) by Joanne DeMaio
Have read every book since the first one and feel as if this groups of friends and family are my next door neighbors.
This one I feel very emotional about because of the turmoil for so many in the story that I know will get resolved because
1. the sea air will cure what ails you
2. friends don’t leave others alone-they meddle to get things fixed.
Learned a few new things this book also, which is a major plus for me when reading.
Love the location as the water, waters, smells, colors are just so described you can see them in your own eyes and mind as if you are the one sitting on the drift line.
Love that Maris is continuing through with the novel of Neil’s journals and that Shane although not welcome may get the chance to talk to his brother after 15 years.
Love that they go back in time-I didn’t realize a lot of things as they are still coming out in talks with others. I’ts a ‘ah ha’ moment for me as I hear about them for the first time.
Not sure if I am happy about them or sad and both at times. Felt I had tears in my eyes a lot of this story, it was very touching as some of the events mimic parts of my life.
Hated to see it end and know there is another to follow-can’t wait to read that one.
Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
This book is on fire!! Emotional. Heart wrenching! All of the places described so beautifully that you actually feel like you are right there with your friends. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The Salt Air Secrets can’t come soon enough for me! Thank you for a wonderful series Joanne DeMaio!!
