An unlikely meeting after a decade apart, a drunken Vegas wedding, a note goodbye, a broken second chance at love . . . and the wedding invitation that changes it all.The first time I saw Brinley Knox, she was crying and heartbroken at her own sweet sixteen party. The daughter of the wealthiest family in Orchid Valley, she was off limits to someone like me—the teenage charity case, the hired help. charity case, the hired help.
But that didn’t stop me from kissing her. Or from promising if she were ever mine, I’d never let her go.
The last time I saw Brinley Knox, I made good on that promise. Forget that it was the first time we’d seen each other in ten years, or that we were drunk in Vegas when we said I do. I meant every word, every touch, every promise.
The problem? When I came back to the hotel, she was gone—the ring I slipped on her finger and the note she left behind the only reminders she had been there. Well, those and the hole she left in my chest in place of my heart.
We haven’t spoken in the six months since, and I’m not the kind of guy who’d file for a divorce he doesn’t want.
But when I get the invitation to her wedding to another man, it’s time to return to Orchid Valley and remind the bride-to-be that I’m a man who keeps his promises.
Every Little Piece of Me is a sexy, standalone second-chance romance in Lexi Ryan’s all-new Orchid Valley series.

OMG, you’re going to want this book! Lexi Ryan never disappoints.
I couldn’t get into this book and put it down rather early into the story
“Let go of the relationships that cause you only pain. We make our own family.”
This has been the first book I ever read by Lexi Ryan. While I have a few others TBR on my Kindle, the name of the book and the cover really caught my eye. And so I gave it a go.
So happy I did – Lexi Ryan has an amazing writing style and I’ll be reading a lot more of her books!
Marston is the amazing book boyfriend we all wish we could have. He’s the romantic type, the caring type, the sexy-as-hell type *swoon*… and he goes after what (or who) he wants, especially when she’s someone he can’t forget about.
Brinley… I honestly disliked Brinley for about half the book. I could only see her as self-absorbed and whiny, … and I wanted to slap her a few times. But then this changed, and I guess I was able to see life through her eyes a bit more. And her story is kind of heartbreaking in its own way.
“When you came into my life, you saw me when no one else bothered.”
Being privy to their relationship both in the present and in flashbacks really helps you understand both of them more. These people should have been together and stayed together, but life has its own plans for all of us, and not all of them are good.
Still, 10 years later, it’s like nothing changed – and the love they shared as kids is still there, and it’s so heartwarming!
In the end, it’s really all about my first quote. We make our own family.
It can be a group of friends we can rely on for anything, or it can be that one person we’re not willing to let go and who really does have every little piece of you.
So looking forward to the next book in the series!
New from Lexi Ryan!
I loved EVERYTHING. Great storyline and characters. I couldn’t put it down.
Wow I totally loved this book. I coudn’t put it down till the end. So full of love, drama and twists. A beautiful tale!
This book is a great start of the Orchid Valley series.
Marston and Brinley are two people coming from totally different families, but have such a chemistry, that they find to each other. All starts in their teenage years.
A beautiful lovestory with twists, heart, romantic and chemistry. Lexi shows in this story, that two people with different status in life can find love in each other and through detours get their happily ever after.
This is the 2nd book I read by Lexi Ryan. I’m sorry I stopped reading this story at chapter 5 because it didn’t grab my interest.
Loved this book! Second chances are so worth fighting for. Several twists and turns in this book for them to get to their happily ever after. Story that demonstrates true love conquers all.
“Hot. Impulsive. Crazy. Amazing. Wild . . . everything.”
These characters have been consuming me. I can’t put this series down. I’m binging and obsessed.
“We were madly in love once. Our relationship may have been a secret, but it was no less intense, no less real than anyone else’s love. At the time, it was the only thing in my life that didn’t feel like some sort of bad dream.”
I loved how this book ended, but I rode the emotional rollercoaster to get there. Laughed, cried, cheered, cursed, squirmed…you can feel the passion, hurt, regret, yearning, pride, heartache and hope as you turn the pages.
“I want the water and the desert, the night and the day. I want things that can’t exist together.”
I could not wait to get my hands on Every Little Piece of Me, I absolutely loved the prequel and had to have this. Who wouldn’t fall in love with Marston?!?! He is a wealthy man all grown up but he is still humble and knows what he comes from. The most important people to him are Brinley and his aunt who helped raise him. Here he is 10 years later, looking for his WIFE, yep I said that… They married in the prequel and she ran off. Now he gets a wedding invitation to her wedding to another man… yeah I think not! He knows what he wants and goes after it.
I absolutely fell in LOVE LOVE LOVE with Marston! I really enjoyed this story but I felt Brinley was too wishy washy and at times, I did want to throat punch her. The story was sweet, well the times Marston is in it it’s sweet lol. It’s one of those books that you fall in love with the hero and just roll your eyes at the heroine. But I will say, all’s well in love and war… and that’s what Marston goes to do when he goes back to Orchid Valley. He’s there to remind Brinley she’s his and will always be his. Oh be still my heart! Marston is all mine and I will fight for him. Who wouldn’t want this stud in their lives. 4 wickedly good stars!
Every Little Piece of Me is a second chance at first love. It’s a surprise marriage and an awkward engagement. But its also true love winning out over family drama, internal demons, and Brin and Mars getting in their own way.
Visit Orchid Valley. Come for the spa and stay for the people. I’m really hoping to find out about Stella’s happily ever after.
This is the first book in a new series, The Orchid Valley series, about a group of best friends finding their true love. The first book, and the included prequel, is the long love story of Brinley and Marston. After 10 years these 2 are reunited in Vegas for one night. Little does Brinley know that 1 night would change her life as she knew it. 6 months later back home in the Orchid Valley Brinley is prepared to marry Julian, her marriage of convenience fiance, when her first true love returns to fight not only for their love but to show everyone what he has made of himself. Marston was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks that met Brinley at her 16th birthday party that he was working at. These 2 fell fast and the only reason they broke up was after her family caught them in bed together. Brinley asked Marston to leave town and not to look back later.
I loved this story and can not wait for the second in the series, Stella and Kace. I was so happy to hear that this is the second couple to be featured because I am really intrigued by Stella and her back story. I just wish it was coming out next month instead of the end of 2020. I need my fill of this series now!!
Thank you to netgalley and Lexi Ryan for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
This is the 1st book in this new series from Lexi and I was looking forward to reading it after reading her prequel that came out a few weeks ago. The prequel really peaked my interest and this one picks up 6 months after it left off.
After being reunited in Vegas, Marston’s hopes of having her back are dashed when she runs out the next morning. When he receives an invitation to his wife’s wedding he knows its time to go fight for his girl.
I really like this one from Lexi. I was hooked from beginning to end and totally #teamMarston. I will be honest that I struggled somewhat with Brinley. I just wanted to shake her so many times and tell her to man up and stop being such a push over. She really needed to take ownership of her actions instead of hiding behind others all the time. Marston would do anything for her and she was not very fair to him most of the time. If she didn’t want him I certainly would take him 🙂
On the whole I really enjoyed this one and I am really. looking forward to seeing what happens with this series.
Lexi Ryan delivers all the feels in this second chance romance. Boy from the wrong side of the tracks gets the golden girl…then loses golden girl…then refuses to give up golden girl. Marston is as swoon-worhty as a hero gets! Don’t miss the prequel that introduces readers to Brinley and Marston. Their past is as much a part of their relationship as the present, which makes things so much more complicated and worthwhile.
Second chances for the poor little rich girl and the juvenile delinquent guy. This was one rag tag of a story and not a cute and nice HEA. Two people who had to be fated because life couldn’t possibly put that much in their way and they still end up together. I want to cuss and be annoyed but I guess the story ends well.
What did I like? It’s impossible not to like Marston Rowe….. the rest of the characters were flim flam. Marston Rowe loved Brinley…. before she even loved herself. Brinley grew up being second to her dying sister and never grew out of it. She allowed everyone in her life to make her choices for her and never really grew out of the mindset. Every little piece of me is a back and forth between past and present in a most painful way. Sometimes love can get ugly… But thank god for second chances.
Would I recommend or buy? The back and forth between past and present would upset some people. It doesn’t seem to bother me. Brinley marries Marston in Vegas but didn’t remember so there could be unconscious cheating. I thought the book was good, and I finished in one sitting. I’d read more by this author.
Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new release! I just loved Marston… what a gem! The way she ends up with a different father for Cami was really edgy, that really threw me for a loop.
Four stars, and an enjoyable book.
If you’ve been following my reviews or me, for any length of time, you might now Lexi Ryan is one of my favorite humans. I don’t have that many so do with that info what you will …. But that really has zero to do with why I am always in awe when I read one of her books. She’s talented with the words. That’s why I’m in awe. She hits me in all the right #feels every.single.time. There have been times where I may not have liked where she took a story but that’s on me. She is incredible at layering her stories with the exact amount of timing and pace a story needs to unfold perfectly. She is the queen of character growth and maturity in a story. No one can touch her skills when it comes to twisting stories into pretzels that keep you blinking and guessing to the very end. Not in any kind of dark way, more like in a deeply emotionally investing kind of way.
I have never not loved a town/family/series/individual/all the things in a Lexi Ryan world. She is imaginative and creative and thorough and again, a wizard with words. Her story-lines are meaningful and fill of purpose. Her plot-lines are intertwined into a story perfectly. Her characters are relatable and realistic. There is always at least a few AH HA! and a few more wait, what now? (lol) moments in her story-lines so they are never mundane or boring. They are fresh and unique in a way only Lexi can bring to life.
Brinley and Marston have history. History that is not all rainbows and gumdrops. At this point I should tell you it’s really a very good idea for you to download Every Little Promise before you read this book. It’s a prequel to this story and it will give you the history to understand how Brinley and Marston got to where they are today.
Man, you guys, I want to tell you SO much about this story but …. *sigh* This might be Lexi’s best work kids and I’m not even going to tell you a little bit about why LOL Okay, maybe one thing … Brinley and Marston both are going to camp out in your heart and never leave. Neither one perfect, both with faults they bring into this tale that will endear them to you. Everyday people you could be friends/family with. There’s struggles and your struggles. I walked in the shoes of this story easily. I’ve always been able to do that to some degree with Lexi’s stories, but this one was a step above the rest. That may be because it’s the introduction to a series so everything is vivid and new and exciting, but I think it’s a lot more that she created characters I not only can root for, but want to root for and cheer and applaud and do all the things! GAH!
I don’t think I have ever looked forward to a series by Lexi as I am this series. This book not only had its story, but it also began the story of Orchid Valley and I am stoked!!
What’s not to love about a second chance, boy from the wrong side of the tracks, oops wedding in Vegas story??? Can’t wait to dig into this new one from Lexi Ryan!
More hot, emotional romance from Lexi. Yay!
Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan is the first full-length story in her brand new Orchid Valley series. The continuation of Brinley & Marston’s story from the prequel novella, Every Little Promise, we learn what happens after their night in Vegas. Young hearts were broken in their youth when social class seemed to be the make it or break it line, but now Martson has risen above his humble beginnings and made a solid and successful name for himself and he is ready to put everything on. the line for Brinley. Brinley however has some secrets she should really share with Marston, some are a decade overdue, others much newer.
Emotional, powerful, well-written and well-paced, this story has all the feels, the redemption and angst of a second chance romance and more. Loved it! Enjoy!
