An unlikely meeting after a decade apart, a drunken Vegas wedding, a note goodbye, a broken second chance at love . . . and the wedding invitation that changes it all.The first time I saw Brinley Knox, she was crying and heartbroken at her own sweet sixteen party. The daughter of the wealthiest family in Orchid Valley, she was off limits to someone like me—the teenage charity case, the hired help. charity case, the hired help.
But that didn’t stop me from kissing her. Or from promising if she were ever mine, I’d never let her go.
The last time I saw Brinley Knox, I made good on that promise. Forget that it was the first time we’d seen each other in ten years, or that we were drunk in Vegas when we said I do. I meant every word, every touch, every promise.
The problem? When I came back to the hotel, she was gone—the ring I slipped on her finger and the note she left behind the only reminders she had been there. Well, those and the hole she left in my chest in place of my heart.
We haven’t spoken in the six months since, and I’m not the kind of guy who’d file for a divorce he doesn’t want.
But when I get the invitation to her wedding to another man, it’s time to return to Orchid Valley and remind the bride-to-be that I’m a man who keeps his promises.
Every Little Piece of Me is a sexy, standalone second-chance romance in Lexi Ryan’s all-new Orchid Valley series.

5 Star review of Every Little Piece Of Me (Orchid Valley #1) by Lexi Ryan
I know this is hard to believe, but Lexi Ryan is a relatively new author to me I cannot understand how that could be. From start to finish, I was captivated by the story that she wove, drawn in, I had a hard time putting this one down when real life got in the way.
I absolutely loved the continuation of Brinley Knox and Marston Rowe’s story. Although this can most definitely be read as a stand alone, I would recommend you one click Every Little Promise as it gives you the history of their relationship before reading this book.
I was fully invested in the story that Ms. Ryan told and fell hard and fast for both of them. This is one of those books that was a wonderful read and left me with a smile on my face. Brinley and Marston’s road to a happily ever after is rocky to say the least, particularly since it would appear that Brinley is unaware that the have been married for the last couple of years. This led to some humorous interactions . I loved the friendship between Brinley and her friends and is was great to see how much they had her back.
The chemistry between them was just as intense as previously and I was cheering for them to make it as a couple.
I loved the second chance aspect of the storyline. This story has angsty, emotional, drama and romance. One of the other thing I love about this story are flashbacks chapters of the couple’s past. I love the chemistry between the two characters. The side characters were incredible and rounded out this story. The romance was so amazing. Following Brinley and Marston on their journey was a tough one on the emotions. Sometime I got frustrated with Brinley, because she wouldn’t use her voice with her parents. She needed to find her voice and she finally found it with Marston by her side. It was a good read and I am looking forward to more of this series.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Marston and Brinley are magic! They are each other’s first, but will they be each other’s last? They run into each other in Vegas—and get married, but Brinley does not remember. So imagine her and her fiancé’s surprise when Marston crashes their marriage plans. I loved every little thing about this romance! 5 stars
After reading the prequel novella, I was excited to get more from Marston and Brinley. I should have known the ride on their emotional rollercoaster was not done with more twists and turns.
Brinley Knox was the pampered princess growing up but it came with a price. Parental expectations and family dynamics ultimately kept her in line. But it came with such loss.
Marston Rowe was the troubled orphan and hired help. He saw the real Brinley and their connection was everything…but forbidden. He and everyone else knew he was not good enough for her and eventually she sent him away breaking both of their hearts.
Ten years later, they share a night in Vegas that has consequences…she just does not remember all of it. Months later as she plans to settle down and move forward on some of her life goals, Marston realizes Brinley must have forgotten one very important detail from their Vegas trip. Let the games begin!
I absolutely adored Marston. He is determined, supportive, loving, and honest. He has never stopped trying to prove himself and be more than enough. But his way of showing that sometimes gets unexpected reactions from Brinley. Her life has been a series of being controlled, making poor choices, getting over her head, and needing to be bailed out. She wants to be independent but seems to self-sabotage. So she is also strongwilled, prideful, and hates not being in control of her own life.
The role reversals are hard. They both have fears, insecurities, and issues stemming from their rocky past and public perceptions. Their situation in the present is complicated and concessions and sacrifices would need to be made to give it a chance. Both have triggers that can easily be set off. But these two have amazing chemistry and a connection that just keeps rebounding back from almost being broken. I was rooting for them the whole way but seriously wanted to shake some sense into the stubborn but unassertive Brinley at times.
This is an angsty, emotional, second-chance romance told in dual points of view and some flashbacks. Their love story past and present is a long and winding road towards finding their way to happiness requiring a lot of personal growth. I enjoyed the Orchid Valley crew that is such a great support system for them…Stella, Kace, Smithy, Abbi, Sav, and his friend, Alec. They are a self-made family and all have fun and dynamic personalities and history. I am looking forward to more of their stories in this series.
Oh Marston, you are the perfect man. Lana~White Hot Reads
Marston’s love for Brinley is all consuming even when life threw him a lot of curveballs. He made a name for himself and now he wants the girl. When a chance encounter brings them back together the feelings and sparks ignite like a bonfire. Marston comes back to claim Brinley and show her they can have the life they always wanted together. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next in this series.
It’s been a while since I’ve read this author’s work and after reading Every Little Piece of Me, I’m wondering why it took me so long to read her again. The blurb grabbed me immediately—getting an invitation to your wife’s wedding – – as a guest! I knew I had to read this story! But my heart broke for Marston so many times throughout this read. He is such a swoony, sweet and sexy hero. Brinley ticked me off a few times but I understood where she was coming from. If I didn’t love Marston so much, she wouldn’t have made me so angry! The other part of the story that I adored was Brinley’s “family of friends”. I enjoyed this group of friends so much— they have each other’s backs at all times. I love this! I’m looking forward to reading Stella and Kace’s story next. I voluntarily read and reviewed and ARC for NetGalley.
Marston and Brinley really had to work for their second chance at happiness. After all, she’s been fighting a losing battle for approval from family for so long that Brinley makes standing by her side a tad difficult.
I liked Marston, but Brinley was harder to like. She was very complex and at times seemed like she needed to grow up. But then her fears and worries about forever and taking chances were all justified because of what she’s lived with: guilt, worry, fear, love for the one who got away, and the certainty that she wouldn’t ever really be good enough for anyone to want her as an equal partner in life. It took all that Marston and her family by choice had to convince her otherwise. And once Brinley finally saw things clearly, she understood that helping out of love is not the same as helping to play the guilt or humiliation cards over and over on someone.
Overall, this was a good story. There were a few things I didn’t quite expect, a few that I did, and the glory of witnessing a woman finally figure out that she’s worth the love she’s getting from life.
The prequel wet your appetite and this book gave you everything else. Marston came from nothing and made himself to become a very wealthy and successful businessman. He is also a very determined man. He loves Brinley and he will stop at nothing to keep her. She is his wife, even though she doesn’t remember their wedding in Vegas and he wants her back. He returns to Orchid Valley to stop her wedding to Julian. Brinley has spent her entire life trying to be what her parents wanted and expected of her. She was always seeking their approval. Ever since her sister passed away she knew her parents would never accept her relationship with Marston so she pushed him away. It broke her heart to do this and she never recovered from it. Ten years later she meets up with him in Vegas. The saying what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well that is not true for these two. They get married but the only trouble is she doesn’t remember. She returns from that trip and agrees to marry Julian. But even though she doesn’t remember something made her marry Marston. Brinley is a planner she doesn’t do spur of the moment things without a reason.
Every Little Piece of Me is a story of love, determination, acceptance, family, and support. But family is not by blood alone. Even though she tried to get her parents, especially her father, to be proud of her they were never satisfied. She never measured up. It took her a long time to realize that she could be independent and not have to follow their rules to be happy. She was determined to do it on her own. She was so fortunate to have her friends. They supported her and gave her what her parents never did. Marston also accepted her for who she was. He wanted to give her the world and now he finally could. But one thing that made him different than Julian and her parents. Marston only wanted her love. He never expected anything back from giving her everything. He just wanted to help her accomplish her dreams. Once again Lexi Ryan delivers a love story so full of emotion, love, acceptance, chemistry and support. A story that has you cheering for this couple to make it through all the obstacles thrown their way. Marston came back to make Brinley his forever and stopped at nothing to make it happen. Now that is a love story that will last until eternity.
Second chances sometimes come around for a reason and the book Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan is the perfect second chance romance. This is a great book to read if you are wanting to have that warm fuzzy feeling from some heavy-duty emotional roller coaster riding. Every Little Piece of Me is a stan- alone book that is part of the Orchid Valley series and tells the story of Brinley and Marston. There is a prequel (which you do not have to read but it is fun to read) called Every Little Promise and there are more books to come. This was great book and I loved every page, lots of drama, and lots of steamy physical interactions that will get the blood pumping. 5-stars for Every Little Piece of Me by Lexi Ryan.
Brinley Knox has wanted to see her first love for over ten years but has stopped herself every time she had the thought. Marston Rowe never stopped thinking of Brinley, the one girl who took his heart and never gave it back. After a somewhat chance meeting in Vegas Marston and Brinley reconnect. Six months after Vegas and Marston gets an invitation to HIS wife’s wedding. Marston made a promise as a teenager to fight for Brinley and now that he has her as his wife, he is not going to let her get away again. Marston wants the only woman he’s ever loved, and he is willing do to whatever it takes to get her.
The moment Marston’s eyes first landed on Brinley Knox years ago he knew she was somebody special, but he also knew she would never be his somebody special, because he would never be able to live up to her parents standards. That didn’t stop him from becoming her friend though, their friendship was instant, and the one constant source of strength they both had. But one night she surprised him and asked for more, no matter her parents rules or views, and their first kiss was pure magic. It was connection that only brought them closer, and had them feeling like they were destined to be together forever…
That is until Brinley’s life was thrown into complete disarray with the passing of her sister. Her emotions are all over the place and she knew in her young heart that her parents would never let them fully be together, so she pushed him away.
Losing him was soul crushing, something she has never gotten over in the last ten years. She has secretly always held out hope he would come back to her… and now she might just be get her wish!
Every Little Piece of Me is a beautifully penned love story that reunites two wounded souls who have always known they belonged together, but let others keep them apart… until now! Brinley and Marston set the pages on fire with their smoldering looks and undeniable chemistry… wow what a story! I loved this newest offering from Ms. Ryan, the words were addictive and heartfelt, and the romance was just how I like it… HOT! HOT! HOT! Following these two on their journey was tough on the feels at times, but the end result makes it so worth all the anticipation and heart squeezing hurt. I cannot wait to see who graces the pages of the next installment. If you like scorching romance stories, with a sweet and charming hero at the helm then I highly suggest you meet Marston, he’ll have you swooning throughout! Highly recommend!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
I absolutely loved this second chance storyline! All the angst and feels. The chemistry between Marston and Brinley is scorching hot! You’ll definitely be hooked from beginning to end with their emotional journey. I can’t wait to read the next book in this new series.
I’m honestly not to sure how to convey the myriad of emotions as I read Brinley and Marston’s beautiful story! This book gave me all the feels!
I loved that Brinley tried to be independent and who wouldn’t want to be, considering the way her family are!Marston, what a wonderful man! Yes he had struggles but he rose above and made something of himself and the part of him thats missing, he’s hoping to find again!
This book sent me through the ringer! I loathed the way some of the characters behaved towards Brinley but I genuinely loved the way her friends had her back!
Truly this story will send you on a bumpy ride and I honestly wondered if there would be an ending that made me hopeful! Well you will have to read it for yourself to find out! The banter, sizzling chemistry, heartfelt moments and inspirational words made this such a wonderful romance!!
I absolutely love Marston, the way he loves Brinley, is how we all want to be loved. He is fierce, loyal and has grown so much since he was a teen. These two have so many obstacles in their way, and so many insecurities to overcome. Loves this read, how could you not? Lexi Ryan has always been one of my favorite authors and this read is exactly why. I can not wait for more of these girls.
