Every Last Drop is an emotional journey you won’t soon forget, filled with love, hope, sadness, and renewal. Robinson’s writing is honest, poignant, and gripping. Keep the tissues handy and be ready for a serious book hangover once you turn the last page.
I could not put this book down!! From the first page I was hooked!! Very well written, just make sure you have a box of tissues near by!!! I was so into this book, I thought it was a true story!!!! It is that good!!!!! Do not miss this one!!!!!!!!!
The subject matter was just too painful for me to read. I started it twice, and just couldn’t continue. The author was spot on regarding the long and agonizing process this husband and wife endured, but I just couldn’t read it.
One of the best books that I’ve read recently, cried most of the way through it but characters very real and subject matter was something that none of us know if it will happen to us.
BEAUTIFUL,UNIQUIE ,EMOTIONAL,HEARTBREAKING TALE AS YOU GO ON THIS JOURNEY WITH TESSA,WHO HAS TERMINALLY ILL CANCER , AS SHE NAVAIGATES THE HOW,WHY, WHAT IFS OF HOW SHE CHOOSES TO END THE JOURNEY.
“Some love is strong enough to live a lifetime in only a few years.”
Absolutely amazing and oh how I cried!! Every Last Drop read as if it was the author’s personal journey because it felt like her heart and soul were poured into this book but it is a work of fiction. This book is so well written, every last beautifully tragic word.
Tessa and Kyle stole my heart, ripped it in two and handed it back and made me feel every emotion they went through.
“Love out loud, or don’t love at all. Wearing your heart on your sleeve is just letting the world know you found that something special everyone wants.”
Get the tissues ready!
I loved that this book was informative, romantic, sad,and tragic. It was hard to put it down. It was fun to read at times, and made me cry other times. I don’t think I would ever make the choice that Tessa did, but it was interesting learning about that choice along with her. A very good read!
Death With Dignity
This book was hard for me to read…in the beginning. But I endured, and found myself loving this story.
Tessa Barnes Falls, was a brave woman. Doing the unthinkable.
At the age of 28, she found herself facing a life altering illness. She has cancer. She wanted to take her life, what she had left, and do it her way. Live and Die with dignity.
Tessa’s story touched my heart the more I read. I don’t know anyone in my personal life to have dealt with the issues that this character had. I would like to think that the hoops she had to jump through, have diminished.
I’m not sure if the state I live in, recognizes the Death With Dignity Act. But I feel that everyone in the situation as this character, has the right to choose, death over life. This is my personal opinion, and I know there will be many who disagree. But you know that old saying, “opinions are like…everyone has one.”
I recommend this book, but ask that you please read the synopsis, beforehand, because the contents might not be for everyone. Oh, and have a full box of tissues on hand.
Sarah Robinson, thank you for writing this incredible story. It was eye opening. It made me think about choices. My choices!
This book deserves much more than the maximum of 5 stars.
It was too depressing.
A real tear-jerker…a big box of tissues should be included with this book. Lovely characters that you can completely see and feel as if you were in the story with them. Sad but uplifting all at the same time.
Don’t read this book without a full box of tissues.
I loved this book. I don’t usually cry but this book is a tear jerker.
without going into every detail -and spoiling the story -I will say this is a very powerful-creative and healthy way of finalizing ones journey -the ethics -I will leave -to each of you —
This book was very emotional. It had some laughing parts and some crying parts. Overall it was a really good book. It really hit home for me on 2 different levels. I also have experienced miscarriage (3 to be exact) and I took care of my boyfriend’s mom in her last 2 months of life before she passed away from cancer(and none of us(me or her family) even knew she was terminal). I love this book though, it is very beautifully written. Good job Sarah!
Tessa and Kyle’s love story was EPIC from beginning to end!!! I was and still am deeply in love with this book!!! The topic is both hard and loving!!! It is definitely an ugly cry book of the most beautiful kind!!!! Sarah Robinson is ultimately and phenomenally talented!!!! If I could, I would give her s standing ovation for this book!!! Simply amazing!!!
Such an amazing book. It provoked strong feelings about issues many people face. It is written with respect and heart. Made me question my life and others around me. I loved the main character. She has heart and grit. Such a strong woman. I highly recommend this to women and their partners everywhere. Especially if the evil “C” has entered your life.
Tessa’s story isn’t a romance, but there is definitely a lot of love in this story. This is a woman’s fiction, heartbreakingly and beautifully written. Tessa is a wonderful young woman, resilient, and mature. Kyle, Tessa’s husband, is a handsome man, caring, loving, supportive and protective. Her Dad and Sister are also wonderful. I absolutely love the family spirit, and the family bond between them. This is the part that comforted me while listening: Tessa wasn’t alone in this journey. I laughed, I was worried, and I cried, a lot. At the end of this journey, I had no other words to explain how I was feeling: Shattered! Jaimee Moore did an great job to bring this story to life. No doubt this was a difficult story to write, and to narrate! The only issue were the distracting noises at the beginning of the chapters. Trigger Warning: I do not recommend you to listen to this audiobook, if you recently received a cancer diagnosis and/or a terminally ill prognosis.
Every Last Drop by Sarah Robinson is a contemporary women’s fiction novel that I listened to on audio narrated by Jaimee Moore.
This was the first book of Sarah’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. This book took me on an emotional journey. I would recommend having a box of tissue next to you while reading this book. Sarah did an amazing job on the writing. It just pulled me in and made me feel like I was part of Tessa’s world. Absolutely amazing!
Jaimee did an amazing job on the narration. I loved that she used different tones/voices for each character it really brought the story to life. I could feel the emotion of the story coming out in each character. I can’t wait to listen to more projects that she has worked on.

A Novel

Narrated by: Jaimee Moore
I have to say, when I started this book, I was not prepared for the story. I saw Sarah Robinson’s name and said, of course I want to listen to it! And then I began the journey of Tessa’s life.Tessa was having difficulty getting pregnant and when searching for answers to why was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Now, she is young, so the hope is shrink the tumor and remove it and continue life. But when this is not the case, Tessa makes the preparations to live her life to the fullest for what she has left, and makes some decisions about how she wants to die. It’s a story of true love and passion, heartache and frustration and you will need a box of tissues as you listen.Sarah has written this book with style and grace, pulling no punches as to the difficulty of the situation and sugar coats nothing. It’s raw, gritty, truthful and so very, very good. I loved and hated every minute of the book, and will find it on top 10 of my listens for the year.
Jaimee Moore just enhances this story with her incredible narration. The story is so emotionally charged and she finds every one and pulls us in. We live, love and grieve right along with each character and she delivers a perfect performance.
