What happens when a Rock Star in Disguise meets a Billionaire in hiding?
Georgie doesn’t know who she is dating.
At a high society wedding, Georgie Johnson is introduced to Alexandre de Valentinois, a hereditary duke of nothing who flies around the world on his private planes and describes himself as “one of those despicable, idle rich men.” Yet, when pressed, he sings at the wedding in a … men.” Yet, when pressed, he sings at the wedding in a gorgeous, clear tenor that tugs at Georgie’s soul, and miraculously, he calms her paralyzing stage fright so she can accompany him on the piano, even though she thought she had left her classical music career behind when she went into hiding.
But Alexandre has a dark side. His name is Xan Valentine, and he’s the rock star front man for Killer Valentine. He’s famous, but his paparazzi-dogged lifestyle might get Georgie killed.

This book got my attention from the beginning. Couldn’t put it down. I don’t automatically buy all the books in a series without reading the reviews, etc but once I read this book, I immediately ordered the rest of the series. IT’S THAT GOOD!!!! The twists and turns this series takes keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering what’s next. …
Good read but not crazy about the ending. Left you hanging.
I stopped reading this book. After s chapter of two O just could not get into the story
Everything just came out of nowhere.
Very confusing and slow to start. I felt like I missed the back story that was in the authors head.
More than any of her other books, I loved the Xan and Georgie series. I was totally mesmerized by their emotional connection, love of music and challenges. Xan is lightly based on the real child prodigy and gorgeous German violinist, David Garrett. The links in the digital version of the book to his and Joshua Bell’s violin pieces added …
This is the book that started it all for me. I read this one first and became hooked on Blair! She delves deep into each character and makes you feel like you are right there. Never a boring moment or wasted words. It all has meaning. I love the way she writes. She makes you feel invested in the characters and want to keep reading to find …
A story of Xan and Georgie..
They met at a mutual friends wedding and became an item.
Excellent book
This is written in episodes with each having several chapters. At least the first 2 episodes are included, maybe 3. But, the story continues after this. It is hard to follow initially, so I was skimming some. But after the initial episode the next made skimming the first worthwhile. It does have some BDSM and it requires accepting a concept …
The plots were very well developed. I enjoyed the development of Georgie and Akex and their subsequent “love story”.
The imagery that was inter-twined added to the storyline.
I would re-read this one.
Don’t care for the “to be continued ” ending. Sell the entire story as a box set, that would be better.
An okay read but difficult to catch in the beginning if you have not read previous books. It seemed to me to be a great story idea that was written terribly – not interested in reading any other reads by this author “free” or not. This book was not even interesting enough to me to read the next one and find out what happens. Disappointment!
Bought the entire series after reading the first book!
I love Blair Babylon! This series about Georgie and Alex is the best!
This book is what happens when a good plot gets smashed by writer who thinks you can balance the snobbish world of aristocracy, with sex clubs. I do not think it mixes well.
Absolutely LOVED this entire series. Made me a definite Blair Babylon fan…will read whatever I can find that she’s written. The series about Dieter and Flicka was just as good, if not better!
The characters were complex and sympathetic, the situations gave insight into what it’s like to be a pop star, and the romance was nuanced. Altogether a very enjoyable series.
Great characters and a great story.
I really tried to like this book. The blurb was interesting, but there was just too much going on. Both main characters had too much going on. I know it is a fantasy, but before long I could no longer relate to either main character and I couldn’t read on.
Loved this story, rock bands is a favourite genre. This one wasn’t typical rocker stuff with lots of twists and turns. Great lead characters with really good lesser characters. If it had need hard copy I would have read it till it was dog eared. Unfortunately it ends with cliff hanger, four in series and you won’t be able to resist the other …
