From USA Today Bestselling Author, Alex Grayson, comes an emotionally captivating love story that rivals time…. Lincoln was my once in a lifetime, my destiny. I was his happily ever after, his kismet. I met him when I was eight, and he saved me from the bullies on the school playground. The next day, he called me his girl. When we were thirteen, we began to look at each other differently. At … me his girl.
When we were thirteen, we began to look at each other differently.
At fourteen, we shared our first kiss.
We were sixteen the first time we made love and promised we’d always be together.
The night before we graduated high-school, he asked me to marry him, and the day before we left for college, I became his wife.
Our first child came when we were just twenty-three. And our second, five years later.
Our future was forevermore written in the stars. We had that indescribable kind of love everyone searches for, but rarely ever find. A love so strong, one lifetime wouldn’t be enough.
His soul was my mate, and mine was his.
Our life was perfect. Until it wasn’t.
Fate brought us together… would it dare tear us apart?
NOTE: This is the second book in the Ever Series. To fully appreciate the impact of Lincoln and Molly’s story, Forevermore should be read first. It is a prequel novella and is available for free.

A love that exists through time. Everlast
This duet written by Author Alex Grayson was a pure love story, and as always, her writing was perfectly executed, emotive and all engaging. I loved the thought of a love that never dies, and souls that will look for each other in eternity. Quite simply the love between Lincoln and Molly was beautiful, all-encompassing, romantic, and everlasting.
BUT they’re not my usual kind of read because I like to avoid ugly cry types like the plague. I’m overly emotional and cry at the drop of a hat, and for me this was a migraine inducing paper towel ugly cry-fest with no relief in sight. I know there are others like me who rather unfairly, if you will, have specific demands about how we prefer our books to end, and I don’t know how to give out a fair warning to those with similar misgivings, without spoiling it all. All I can say is that if you really love Alex Grayson’s writing, you might forgive her. I won’t. I’m still crying as I write this review hours after finishing the damn book!
Don’t let my personal feelings put you off reading this Forevermore/Everlast duet. It’s magic for those who love highly emotional ugly cries. Fill your boots with those tissues though – be warned
This is one of the most beautiful, heart wrenching, and thoughtful book I’ve ever read. I have read books that have made me a little sad or made me have a few tears…but this one made me ugly cry….I had to stop reading a couple of times.
The story picks up several years after the prequel ends and continues to take us through the life and love story of Molly and Lincoln. They are living their life with their kids, having successful careers and they are still madly in love with each other.
Also along the way they find very old journals in the attic that they read and the stories in the journals mirrors the love and life that Molly and Lincoln have. They are drawn to the journals because Molly has written journals her entire life.
Small events outside the norm begin to happen, often going unnoticed until a family gathering where it’s evident there is an issue. I don’t want to give any spoilers.
Molly and Lincoln’s family and friends come together to support them and their children as they deal with the hand that they’ve been given. This is a story of true, never ending love….forevermore.
I requested an arc and I’m proving my honest review.
Heart stoppingly beautiful!!
Fate brought Molly and Lincoln together. Their love for each other brought them even closer! Can fate keep them apart?
Every time I read it, it gets better and better!!
Just remember to have some tissues handy…
This was a heart wrenching epic romance story.
You need to read Forevermore prior to reading this story. Since I had read this when this book showed up on my kindle I say and stared at is so scared to start reading. I drew a deep breath and dived in. After the first chapter I breathed a sigh of relief, briefly. I have read Ms. Grayson’s other books and I knew something was coming up. As each chapter came I was scared to dive in. When that moment came my heart started to crumble. As each chapter came and went my heart kept crumbling.
This is an ugly cry book (I know as I will vividly remember starting to ugly cry in seat 27D on a Boeing 737 returning from a work trip. The flight attendant probably though I was crazy) so have the kleenex ready.
This is a heart wrenching, tragic, emotional but epics soul mates love story that will stay with you forevermore.
Oh my heart, Molly and Lincoln’s story was emotional, heart wrenching, loving, caring story that will keep you wanting more. The love they shared is one of a kind and long lasting. I don’t know if I have every cried so much while reading any book. The writing, and story is so well written, you will not want to put it down, I love Alex Grayson.
5 Stars
This tragically beautiful love story will take readers through so many emotions that when the final page is turned, they will forever be changed.
*Reading the prequel novella, Forevermore, is truly needed in order to experience Lincoln and Molly’s love story completely. It is Free on most retailers*
I struggle to find the words to give this book the credit that it deserves, while allowing readers the full experience of this one of a kind love story. Lincoln and Molly have a connection few couples will ever experience. Meeting at the young age of eight, and immediately becoming best friends, each one knows that the other is meant to be by their side. What starts as a pure and innocent friendship grows and matures into an unconditional love and passion that most wish and dream to find for themselves.
When we join Lincoln and Molly in Everlast, they are happily married and discussing new, exciting adventures for their family’s future. As we are drawn into this family full of affection and happiness, we cannot miss the clues being dropped that there is an underlying issue that is sure to cause Lincoln, Molly and all their loved ones, to be changed forever.
When the “bomb” is dropped, the shock felt by Lincoln and Molly is so strong that readers will feel it as well. This begins the rollercoaster of emotions that will flood reader’s minds and hearts throughout the rest of this story. I can honestly say, I have never felt emotions as clearly or as strongly as I did while being immersed in this love story. I cried right alongside Molly and Lincoln, while also smiling and laughing at all the moments of happiness (and believe me there are MANY of them). Ms. Grayson begins this book with a letter to readers, she states that she, “struggled on whether I should label this as romance or not…”. I for one am so grateful she did. The disservice that would have been done to this story, as well as this couple, would have been heartbreaking.
This EPIC love story absolutely needs to be felt first hand by readers. It should be shared and read by anyone who would like to witness love between a couple in its purest and most honest form. Lincoln and Molly will forever stay with me, as a reader, as a wife and as a mother.

How to put into words how I felt about this book. To say I hated the author just a little bit is putting it mildly. I ugly cried from 80% on. This was an absolute rollercoaster of emotion but an amazing ride in my opinion. Molly and Lincoln have always felt like they were meant to be and their journey is one full of love and hope. Alex Grayson prefaces the story by saying it may not be a romance by a strict definition but it most definitely is a love story that transcends time. The connection these two have is what most of us hope and wish for in our own relationships and once found, you never want to let it go…for any reason. Sometimes it is out of our hands and sometimes, we have to learn to fight for what we hold most dear. It’s hard to review without giving anything away and this is a story you must read from the beginning with Forevermore because that word “forevermore” will hold such huge significance in this story. Steamy, emotional, devastatingly beautiful story.
I get it now. Forevermore as a prequel is a necessity. It truly enhances the timeless love story of Lincoln and Molly. Honestly, at first I struggled so hard to get into this book. I was a little scared off by the foreword about it possibly not being considered a romance. I kept wondering where in the world Molly and Lincoln’s story was going. I thought I had an idea based on some early scenes, but I was so wrong.
About a quarter of the way in and I was truly hooked. Every book has a journey the characters must take and/or an obstacle to overcome. Lincoln and Molly’s love story, journey, and obstacle was so unique and different. Their love story transcends all things.
I loved this beautifully poignant, painful love story. The prequel gave a tiny glimpse at their lives, but Everlast fully delved down deep. Deeper than I expected. It’s not a conventional romance per se, but I love how the prequel set a strong foundation for where Molly and Lincoln’s journey was going. This book was so heavy. I honestly had to set it down and step away quite a few times.
I loved Everlast, but beware it is a heavy story. At the same time, their love story gave me hope. Soulmates exist. And Molly and Lincoln are proof.
*I received an ARC of Everlast in exchange for an honest review.
5 emotionally stunning stars
This book. I can’t even find the words. It’s an epic, epic love story that is heartwrenchingly emotional and that literally left me a blubbering mess. It’s emotionally brutal, and I sobbed and ugly cried my way through it. I’ve just finished it and am feeling hungover in all the ways, but OMG, what a story!
Before you read this book, make sure you have read Forevermore– the prequel novella that introduced us to Lincoln and Molly as children, followed them into first love and sets the scene for their epic love story.
This book begins a few years after Forevermore finished off. Lincoln and Molly are married, happy, and blissfully in love. Their connection is incredible, and they are true soulmates in every way. But they’re about to be faced with a challenge like never before, and it’s going to change everything.
“I could be with you in every lifetime there’s ever been, and I’d still want more. There’s no beginning or end to our love. It’s simply always existed, and it always will.”
OMG, this love story is everything. Lincoln and Molly are each other’s whole worlds. Their love is beautiful, unshakable and the kind of forever-love that people dream about. They are truly each other’s second halves, and I loved seeing how openly and honestly they cherish everything that is between them.
“You’ve always been my soul mate … God made my soul to perfectly match yours.”
And Lincoln! OMG, the man is romantic perfection. Sweet, sexy, swoony and completely devoted, the man owns my heart.
Being completely honest here, had I known what this book was about before I started it, I wouldn’t have even picked it up. As much as I love Alex Grayson as a writer, this just isn’t the kind of book that I would choose to read. There was even a point when I was partway through the book and realised what was happening that I thought about not continuing. But by that point I was too invested so I bravely continued on. And I’m so glad that I did… reading until 2am this morning, and then I was awake at 6.30am to finish it off. I couldn’t put it down.
It hurt in the worst way, but the theme of all-consuming, everlasting love, is so beautiful, that you can’t help but love this story and its bittersweet ending. I feel like I journeyed with these characters, I felt absolutely everything along with them, and I’m glad that I experienced the epicness of this romance. It’s a love story that will stay with me for a very long time.
Beautifully written – 5 stars.

This book destroyed me. I was NOT expecting any of what happened to happen. It was beautiful, romantic, heartbreaking, sweet, and yea, it was really freaking sad. It had a HFN but NOT the HFN you would expect. If you read the book you’ll understand.
This book was magic. That soul-deep connection between two people that seems to only find a certain few. That mystical quality of soulmates ALWAYS finding each other in every life. That hope and love and forevermore.
Lincoln and Molly were forevermore. Their story was timeless. Going in to this story, don’t expect anything. It’s not a story for fragile hearts. It’s going to hurt. You may feel bittersweet at the end. You may be mad. But this story left an imprint.

This story is emotional, the love Molly and Lincoln have is one of a kind.
It has touched all of my emotions. Reading this story was heartbreaking. I cried some ugly tears. It has been written with so much care for detail and love. You can feel it in the pages. This story is raw, romantic, heartbreaking, heartwarming funny and sad. All is in this story. This will stay with me for a while. I recommend.
Oh my heart…..
I didn’t quite know what to expect after reading Forevermore, but I can certainly tell you, Everlast was definitely so much more than I could have ever imagined. It was poignant, and beautiful, and real, and heartbreaking, and just…. everything.
Lincoln and Molly met as young children and immediately became friends. They fell in love… a deep love that most people dream of, and they shared a bond that could not be broken.
This story is extremely emotional and not a traditional romance story, but it is so much more. It is about a love so deep and so pure and about two absolute soulmates down to their very core.
Tissues…I recommend tissues.
I have been a fan of Alex Grayson’s writing for awhile now, but Molly and Lincoln’s story is on a whole other level and my admiration has grown tenfold. I can’t imagine anyone reading this story and not finding the beauty within the words. Everlast is by far one of my top reads of the year!
Five huge emotional stars for this gut wrenchingly beautiful story of love, a love so true that it takes your breath away. *pours the wine, wipes the tears from my face.
This book evolked so many emotions from me, Alex Grayson yet again weaves her magic with her words. Making the reader feel EVERYTHING!! And there is a lot to feel!
What Lincoln and Molly share is just beautiful, I literally have no words. My heart!
I was always a believer, this cements it.
