There’s a great deal (1.28.19) on this great book at the moment. I miss Maeve!
This was my first Maeve Binchy novel, and it will not be my last. The way Binchy connects all her characters is absolutely brilliant! I couldn’t put the book down. I read with interest, caring about the problems and challenges, faced by these characters, I laughed and celebrated when they find their happiness. EVENING CLASS is a book everyone …
Love this book!
I love Maeve Binchy and every book I’ve read of hers. She has done an exceptional job of creating characters that intertwine. Each book dives into a character’s life but you likely already met them or were introduced to them in another book but just didn’t know their full story yet. Once I start one of her books, it is hard to put it down!
I enjoy her writing. It is interesting and yet relaxing.
Love all Maeve Binchy books – great characters and easy to get lost in the story!
Love the way seemingly unrelated characters gradually become intwined.
Thoroughly enjoyable meeting all the characters but a little hard keeping track of who’s who. Each has his or her own reason for attending the Italian classes and are different in many ways, but eventually become like one big happy family!
I love Maeve Binchy, and this book is one of my favorites.
I love Maeve Binchy’s world’s!

I love her books.
A great read! The characters were well developed, the book moved along quickly, and you were always excited to discover what the next person would contribute to the emerging story!
Like all her books, this one is so deeply engaging I can hardly wait for a chance to pick it up again till it’s finished, and then I mourn the end of the book which I wish could go on and on. The surprise at the end I really did not expect and it gave me a new slant on the characters
