This is a rather unlikely story about alternate realities as seen from outer space. It is a wild ride. Nothing happens the way it “should.” We experience many unlikely events and meet many unusual beings. It’s a page turner. On the one hand we are looking for things to settle down and on the other we are wondering what outrageous thing will happen next.
It’s an action packed page turner. We visit the Bermuda Triangle, a pyramid on Europa and a place which is unnamed and uncharted…
Bon Voyage!
Started out as scifi, but turned into a mixed fantasy/scifi thing. Not bad at all, but certainly not what I expected.
Got to religious for me.
Not worth the time
Couldn’t help but think of Stargate SG1 while reading this book. Some battle sequences really seemed implausible. Could use more accuracy in the weaponry/aircraft used in the story. Still..it was an easy read and entertaining.
Hammy, poorly written and really doesn’t make much sense.
Started out with great premise, eventually turned rather ridiculous.
Worst written book I have ever read. Authors plot unoriginal, lifted directly from the bible. Uses WWII military which he failed to research, such as PBY with only 300 mile range, .60 cal machine guns (no such thing), torpedo bombs (no such things. There are torpedoes and bombs but NO torpedo bombs! The only reason I finished was because I never leave a book half read, even one as bad as this. Save your money, read the graffiti in public restrooms . It is better written!
Good potboiler science fiction. Very original if in some parts not too plausible. The whole trilogy was fun. Great ending.
Only fair. A week after I read this book, I could not recall what it was about.
Fair
Easy read but a little confusing.
Writer took from a number of ideas and formed a new story, not saying it isn’t a good read, just was hard to follow at times.
This book started with a great premise and then went off the deep end. It became very rushed and contrived in the second half, as if the author had said what they wanted to say and just need to get it over with.
Interesting twist on an old Twilight Zone episode, albeit much more involved, in depth. I liked it.
Great read.
Great story, somewhat marred by cliche dialogue
Used old hackneyed sci fi tropes. Parts of story didn’t make sense. The father of Methuselah born 700 years ago? Other non sequiturs.
Just good old-fashioned SF
Very unique sci-fi plot and message.
A good start, but the rest of the book is awful. Writing is at the high school level as is the plot and storyline.– A basic formula applied over and over. Skip this one.
