Loved the second book in this series, you get everything you could want and more packed into this book, looking forward to reading boo three next
Harmony, Kato, and Morgan are back and so is the mystery and suspense as they try to find Harmony’s mom. of course there is chaos and action galore. More people are introduced and are both fun and weird and odd. I laughed and groaned but was entertained. Just a quirky fun easy read. The interactions of Harmony, Kato, and Morgan were amusing.
3.5 Stars
The story line was great. The character work was terrific. The book had a smooth flow to it. I look forward to the next one.

The cover art is very nice on this book. The story itself is pretty disjointed. It does not flow smoothly. I did not connect with the characters despite some of them being from the South. I don’t know if there was a previous book to this, but this story seemed to start in the middle of a story. The MC is not well fleshed out as a character. I wanted to like it because I like stories about witches, werewolves and other paranormal creatures, but this story was not my cup of tea.

Prentiss is up to his tricks again. Harmony, Kato, and Morgan got rid of Prentiss temporarily but they know he will be back. Then she gets a call from her mom in New Orleans saying Prentiss is after her. When they get to New Orleans the first person they meet is a distant cousin who is the coven leader there. She seems like she wants to help but Kato knows her and cautions Harmony. During their investigation Harmony will make new allies and anger others. Just when she thinks she has found her mother, Prentis disappears. Harmony needs to get ahold of her magic and learn how to use it if she is going to find and defeat Prentiss. And Harmony might have a lead on who her father was. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
