Izzy is mine, and no curse is going to take her from me.I never thought I’d find my mate, and I certainly didn’t think she’d be a witch. I’ve watched my pack members find theirs time and time again, but for me, it wasn’t an option. I do my job, fight to keep my pack safe, that’s it. But when my beauty walked into my life, there was no stopping my instinct. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her … do whatever it takes to keep her safe.
She may think keeping her love from me will keep me alive when her curse takes her, but I know better.
We’ll have our happily ever after. I’ll make sure of it.

Kim Loraine is a new to me author. I first found out about her in the Such Violent Delights book and fell in love with her style of writing and characters she has created, and I just had to stalk her and read more of her work… when I found out she was a paranormal romance writer and just new she would be my new favourite author.
So being unsure where to start with her books I chose the most adult and logical why to by singing Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe .
Eternal Desire was definitely the best debut book into Kim Loraine’s work.
Grant and Izzy are from two different paranormal worlds that are Soul Mates. Both try to deny their attraction to each other in the beginning as Grant is a Wolf Shifter and Izzy is a Witch but when fate is in the mix there is no way to fight it.
Izzy and her witch sisters Gwen and Helena are cursed to die before their 27th birthday, to be reborn with no memories or powers till they turn 18 years old. Izzy is determined to kill the witch that cures Ed her so she is able to break the curse and finally be able to live a long life, but never in her past lives did she ever consider being in love with a wolf let alone be his soul mate.
Grant’s wolf pack is hired to track down 3 powerful witches and kill them. What he didn’t know was that he had already found one and had slept with her, and can’t stop thinking of her.
This book will have you on the edge of your seat from the begin to the end. Even when you complete the book you will still be wanting more. I would know as I am wanting more… Grant and Izzy’s story is no fairytale, it has ups and downs but the ‘Beast’ will get his ‘Beauty’…
So this is the first book I have read by this author and I found it an enjoyable experience.
Eternal Desire is a Paranormal romance involving Witches and Shifters and arch-angels.
Three witches to be precise.
All cursed to die young because of previous events.
And I’m assuming each sister witch here is going to be given their own particular tale as I noticed further story-lines being set up for at least one of them.
Eternal Fire itself involved Izzy and Grant.
Izzy is a witch and Grant a made shifter with a pack.
These two are like oil and water neither paranormal species usually co-existing also there magic is so different so to find a mate like this is unheard off.
Also to further complicate matters the girls have a price on their head and Grants pack has been tasked with the hit on them.
Also, interwoven into this picture is the love story of Isolde and Tristan the one of legend.
Both were under a previous love spell and in one of Izzy’s past lives, her heart was laid bare and broken from this leaving her unwilling to take a chance on Grant and risk her heart again.
So with her curse hanging over her, Izzy has battened down her hatches.
Unwilling to allow love to break her for the second time.
Tristan himself does pop up here to further stir the pot and muddy the waters.
but Eternal desire mainly involves Grant trying to protect Izzy from his pack.
And Izzy not surprisingly fighting him every step of the way.
So, Grant, I liked but there were times he annoyed me like when he considered giving up Izzy
BAD BAD WOLF!!!
Izzy I found was very indecisive and I did find this a trifle annoying at times just make up your mind girl.
Overall taking everything into consideration though I did like both main characters.
They were real with quirks and faults that made them seem more human.
I found the storyline here to be easy to follow there were a few inconsistencies in regards to plot like wolves being turned to ash and then resurrected.
But reading another review this is going to be corrected in the finished product.
I was reading an ARC here so was prepared for some minor errors.
I’m assuming this book is part of a bigger series and this is a spin-off, don’t let that put you off this can totally be read as a standalone.
I found this to be a hot read and you could definitely feel the chemistry between Izzy and Grant.
So, in conclusion, this was a fun paranormal read that kept my attention throughout.
I was provided with an ARC of “Eternal Desire (Siren Coven, #1) ” By the author of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Selfless love, enduring being hurt for the sake of the one you love…
I won my copy from a giveaway and I’m really happy that I did.
I have so little time these days to myself that when I finally did, I didn’t hesitate to sit down and relax with this book. It’s been staggered reading due to multiple interruptions, otherwise I would’ve probably finished it in one sitting, it’s that good! Oh my, I can’t even describe what I was feeling as I was reading. My emotions were a jumbled mess with every hurdle that were put in their way but I’m glad that they were able to pull through (for the meantime anyway). I’m trying my best to not write down any spoiler/s for those who haven’t read it yet because I know some find it annoying, but I’m almost bursting at the seams!
Kudos to you Kim Loraine for another well-written book. I’m looking forward to the second book in the series, the chemistry between those two would probably be, no, definitely be scorchingly hot.
4 & 1/2 stars.
This book sucked me in & kept me up way too late on a work night just to finish the book. This is the first book by this author that I’ve read. I will be looking at her other books now too. I read some of the reviews, stating this is a spinoff from another series by this author. I felt that this was definitely stand alone quality since I didn’t even realize it was a spinoff, the world building was great. I liked the characters of Izzy & Grant & I worried how Tristan would play into the story. This was an unusual plot, the 3 witches were unique with their background, I didn’t see the correlation at first but after a certain point, it all fell into place. I don’t think I’ve read anything like that, with 3 legendary famous beautiful women with so much tragedy surrounding them, all leading back to a coven of witches with a curse, this was brilliant! To pull in shifters, angels, fallen angels, vampires, it was mind boggling (in a good way)…I’m eager to read the other 2 witches’ stories now.
Eternal Desire new pnr by Kim Loraine, and the Siren Coven Series. This story is definitely worth listening to especially with Will Watt and Felicity Foster telling you in duet, about Shifters, fallen angels, and three sisters with a curse to die at age 27 only to relive the same fate, that they having been trying to end for centuries. Mystery, intrigue, lost love, new love, well developed characters that keep you listening and wanting more.
There was so much more to this story than what the synopsis said. This story has witches, shifters, angels, curses, and imprinting, with the legend of Tristan and Isolt thrown in. This book is told in dual POVs and does have a HEA. I was a little confused when I started the book because I wasn’t sure where it took place and I felt like I was missing something. Turns out, this book takes place in England and several of the characters were introduced in the Watcher trilogy. There was also mention in this book of things that the witches had done in at least one of the books in the Watcher trilogy (maybe all of them?). So, this book could be a standalone, but I think to get full enjoyment of this series it is best to read the Watcher trilogy. Aside from my initial confusion, I loved everything about this book. The characters and the storyline were interesting. I was invested in seeing how the story would progress. The book does not necessarily end with a cliffhanger, but one of the main sources of conflict is not fully resolved. However, I anticipate that it will be resolved in the remaining books in this series.
This is my first book by author Kim Loraine, and all I can say is WOW! What a way to start me off with! Izzy is such a strong and beautiful person (witch), and her sisters,, talk about powerful women! Where do I even begin with Grant (Beast)?? Sexy, Strong and protective,,, sign me up !! lol This is Book 1 in a trilogy and I don’t know how she’ll top this one. This book is packed with off the charts STEAM!! Fierce loyalty, mystery, love, heartbreak,, everything! I was pulled in from the first page, and I absolutely loved it! I can NOT wait for the rest of the series! in the mean time, I’m gonna go #One-Click her other series! fan for life now!
Great paranormal romance story! I love paranormal stories! I love this story! This is a good paranormal and hot romance story. The storyline is well built, well written and entertaining. I love the two main characters Izzy and Grant and we can feel their chemistry. I can’t wait to learn more about Helena and Gwen. I’ve read this story on ebook before and I can tell the narration bring to life this story in the best possible way. This was my first listen to Will M. Watt and Felicity Foster and their voices are really perfect for this story! The narration was more than great! My next Kim Loraine’s audiobook will be the Fallen Angel’s Trilogy!
I never thought in a million years I would enjoy PNR as much as I do now! Kim Loraine has set the bar super high for all other books.
Eternal Desire is a spin off of the Watcher series and it is everything I would expect from Kim and more. I fell in love with the coven and the wolf! I was completely enraptured in this book and couldn’t put it down. I actually feel like I am part of the story and I am right there living it with the characters. I can’t wait for the next installment of the Coven series!!
I swear Kim Loraine put a spell on my ARC of Eternal Desire because her words floated right from my Kindle and straight into my heart! To say that I loved this book is an understatement. Kim is the queen of erotic paranormal.
In Eternal Desire we are reacquainted with Izzy and her two ‘sisters’ who belong to the same coven and new comer, panty-dropping shifter Grant. We previously met the sister coven through the Fallen Angel Trilogy which, might I add, is another fabulous MUST-READ series. Did I mention that Eternal Desire is HAWT and that you will be swooning over Grant in record time?
Not only is Eternal Desire (Siren Coven, #1) well written, it kept me spellbound to the book from beginning to end. The Fallen Angel Trilogy series and now Eternal Desire is never lacking in hotness, angst, intrigue and you just don’t know where Kim is going to lead you next. Book two in this series cannot come soon enough and I give Eternal Desire 5 shining stars and 5 full moons!
lowing the doors off PNR. Thats what this book does in my opinion. This story has it all HOT sex, deep love and a plot twist that will have you saying what the hell. I loved this book so much Grant is amazing my favorite shifter ever (sorry Alcide). Go for gold on this on folks.
Love this book! Eternal Desire is a spin off of the Fallen Angels Series. It definitely helps you understand this book if you’ve read the Fallen Angel Series so I highly recommend you do, you won’t be disappointed. Izzy and Grant’s love story is beautiful and hot! Izzy along with her two sister witches are trying to put an end to a curse that was cast upon them to die at the age of 27, be reborn and repeat life and death all over again. Grant is a shifter and is determined to make Izzy realize that she is his mate and put an end to the curse so they could be together. I loved Grants determination and protectiveness over Izzy. The book is full of everything a great paranormal needs to be a one-click, witches, shifters, angels, magic and a great love story! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Blowing the doors off PNR. Thats what this book does in my opinion. This story has it all HOT sex, deep love and a plot twist that will have you saying what the hell. I loved this book so much Grant is amazing my favorite shifter ever (sorry Alcide). Go for gold on this on folks.
Fallen Angels, witches, shifters, a curse, this author pulls no punches in delivering a soul searing read. Yes it’s all about the souls and curses and love but it’s more than that. The 3 witches have returned and each one has their own way to deal with the curse on their lives. Izzie has a few challenges in this book that primarily deals with her past and her present as lovers and lives meet and tangle, and yes clash. Loads of action and magic and steamy scenes that will leave you panting for more.
Love this author and the way she sets up a book. Her books are always engaging and yes we get to reacquaint ourselves with a few friends from her Watcher series. Love it all and yes there is plenty to love.
What a fantastic story!! I just loved it!
This story follows the three coven witch sisters who are cursed. Along their journey to trying to break the curse, Izzy finds her soul mate, Grant, a shifter. There is so much that happens in this story and you won’t be able to put it down! The twists will have you filled with anticipation and the emotions brought out between the sisters, and Grant and Izzy, will have you filled with hope. Can the curse be broken? It’s exciting, it’s energetic, and it’s packed full of intrigue and suspense.
Filled with energy, magic, love, and hope, I could not put this story down! I’m anxiously awaiting the next book!
A witch and a wolf, mated, what could go wrong? It’s combustible, so hot! I love the push and pull between Izzy and Grant! Izzy was originally debuted part of the Watcher series in the 3rd book and I was sad when I thought that trilogy came to an end. But I am so so so glad Kim now has the Siren Coven series for me to look forward to! Will M Watt as Grant, the Scot is to die for, headphone melting, HOT!!!! Felicity Foster, this is my first audiobook with her narrating it and I love her. She does remind me a lot of another narrator’s voice, so I am dying to know if this is another one of her pseudonyms but her as Izzy with the Irish accent is awesome! I need more already, I want to know more about Tamiel and Helena (she is awesomely fiesty) and poor Gwen, I want her to find her HEA and some relief from her “gift!” Kim Loraine has a gift, I was never that into paranormal romance, but she has converted me and I am dying from more!!!!
Another wonderful PNR by This Author. We first meet 3 sister Witches in Releasing The Watcher, from The fallen angle Trilogy by Kim Loraine. If you haven’t read them no worries, this is the first book in the Sisters story. (I do suggest you read the Watchers series at some point though, because I just loved it ) Characters old and new are introduced in this book, again you don’t need to read the other books, but for return readers it’s fun to see the characters development even deeper.
This book is based on witches but there is other types of supernatural beings around at an moment. Especially when a enemy gets them on their radar. Who that enemy is and where they are, you’ll have to read it to find out. Besides testing the witches power this story tests their hearts. Then with the possibility of a love spell do they trust their hearts or head? The tug-of-war got my heart pounding more than once. This book has great story and character development, it’s thrilling, and HEA!
I loved it so much pretty sure i stayed up to the wee hours of the night to finish it because it was soo awesome. Kim Loraine did it again with an amazing book this time involving witches. highly recommend it to everyone
Loved this book can’t wait for #2
Three witches cursed to die young and be reborn over and over again until they find a way to break their curse.
Falling in love isn’t something any of them can risk or that’s what Izzie thought until she meets Grant a handsome brooding Scottish shifter.
“Don’t fall in love with me”
“That’s not a promise I can make.”
This book was really great, it kept me captive from begging to end, with witches, shifters and angles I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.
“Curse or no curse, I’m in love and it can be stopped. Not the curse, not my love…”
This was the first of a trilogy and I can’t wait to know more about Helena and Gwen, Izzy’s sisters.
