WOW!! I really enjoyed reading this book and it will definitely be on the list of books that I reread. When I first started this book I knew right away that I would like Vanessa. The way she stood up for her mom and did everything in her power to help her just shows how great of a person she is. She made such a great life for herself after the the hard childhood she had.
I was skeptical of Stone at first when I initially started reading but as I got further into the book I realized how great of a person he is! Stone has real emotions for Vanessa at the beginning and I appreciated how he didn’t string he along or hurt her.
As the book progresses Vanessa has some tough discussions to make and it put in very difficult situations. You don’t want to miss what happens with Vanessa and Stone and all the battles they have to go through!!
When I read novels such as this, the 50 Shades of Gray trilogy, or even the sweet, not steamy hallmark movies, I need to immediately suspend some belief. Indulgent erotica romances have to have everything work in their favor, that is just how it is. Put away the fact that our adorable main character has a klepto mother who is a handful, JUST graduating college, has already interviewed for her dream job that has a too young too perfect boss at its helm, and said business, Stone Corp, is being looked at for insider training. Ok, I can go along with all what i just mentioned to fill the pages in between steaming sex scenes, what I couldn’t figure out was the time frame of this romance they seemed to go from meeting each other to talk about moving in WHILE she is learning her new job and dealing with a pain in the bumm Detective and the klepto mother. Basically the novel is too short for everything it tries to walk you through. The Characters are wonderfully sweet, sexy, and have great, not forced, chemistry BUT i feel the author could have taken us along for a more romantic getting to know each other while we watch and bite our lips as they discover their bodies and what makes each other tick.
Such a sweet wonderful read! I loved Vanessa and Sebastians slow burn of a love story. Vanessa is placed in a tough spot between being what she thinks is a good daughter and falling for a man that holds the key to setting her mother free. There’s a lot of humor, swoon worthy, and intriguing moments. I wish there was a little more depth with Sebastian and the development of their relationship but overall a cute romance I think any one would enjoy.
What I Loved:
I loved how the author was able to mix wit and hilarious situations into a steamy romance. She added Vanessa’s Aunts to the story and they were just a hoot! And then there’s Sebastian…you’ll love him. The mix of romance with strong plot really rounded this book out and made me enjoy it!
How I Felt:
This was such a quick read. I would love to see an expansion of this to really get to know the characters more. I found Vanessa and Sebastian to be easy to connect to and can see Sebastian being a fictional crush for a lot of ladies! I did feel like their connection to each other happened so fast. I enjoyed the intrigue and secrets as Vanessa investigates the company. The romance scenes were S.T.E.A.M.Y. so look forward to that!
To Read or Not To Read:
Overall, I would highly recommend this book for romance readers. It had a strong plot that moved the story along, but all the steam you would want with a easily lovable cast of characters!
I was provided a copy of this book for free by Liv Arnold . I am leaving my review voluntarily.
This book was a good read. It has mild suspense and a cute love story. My favorite parts were the sex scenes with exhibitionism.
My first time reading by this author. Wonderfully written story with interesting plot! The chemistry is hot between Vanessa and Sebastian. The things we do for loved ones will keep everyone on their toes! Amazing read!

The storyline was simple and sweet. A nice fluff reading.
Etched in Stone is Liv Arnold’s debut book which shocked me. She has found her niche so early in her career. I found Etched in Stone to be a book that while listed as suspenseful romance was so much more. Her characters are relatable, fun, and believable. You want to be in this world that Arnold has created.
Vanessa has just graduated college and accepted a job offer at her dream place. It looks like the fates are in her favor until reality happens. Her mom has a run in with the police which puts everything Vanessa has busted her but for in jeopardy. Given a way to save her mom, she agrees to see if there is any evidence of insider trading at her new job.
What Vanessa never saw coming was the drop dead gorgeous CEO and founder, Sebastian Stone. Having previously met (but no names exchanged) in an embarrassing scene Vanessa never saw the problems that her deal to get her mom off of charges might cause her.
Arnold easily sets the page turning out pace with an amazing plot, strong characters and delivers a book that sucks you in. You won’t realize it’s 2 a.m. until it’s too late. You will be totally enthralled with the world you have in your hands. I can’t wait to read more from Liv Arnold.
‘Etched in Stone’ is a fun steamy romance with a warm sense of humor and plenty of chemistry between heroine Vanessa and her hunky boss, Sebastian. As she tackles a new job, Vanessa is trapped between the desires of her heart and her responsibilities for her mother, and the twists and turns of this story keep both Vanessa and the reader bracing for the unexpected. If you’re looking for a quirky heroine who’s determined to find happiness, this book is a great choice—and I promise you’ll never look at a photo booth quite the same way again.
This was my first read by Liv Arnold and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Vanessa Lang’s Father passed away but he gave her a half-moon necklace that she never takes off. Vanessa has a mother who has trouble with stealing ever since her father passed away. Vanessa tries to help her mom anyway she can. Vanessa has an awkward run-in with the SUPER handsome Sebastian Stone in a dressing room, during their run-in she misplaces her beloved necklace.
Sebastian owns and works for Stone Corp and he didn’t expect the gorgeous woman to see him mostly naked in a fitting room but realizes she dropped her necklace and takes it with him.
Vanessa is given an ultimatum when her mother gets caught stealing, either go undercover at Stone Corp where she was offered a job unbeknown to her it was Sebastian’s company or watch her mother go to jail. She chose to go undercover.
Will sparks still fly when Vanessa and Sebastian work together? Will attraction be enough to keep her on the path to keep her mom out of jail? You’ll need to get the book to find out. Liv Arnold
This book was funny and heartbreaking all at the same time. Vanessa is sweet and has a taste for bad puns which seems to make her a great fit for Sebastian and his bad but funny puns. This book had me laughing and wanting to finish as soon as I could to find out how it ends. Vanessa has been through so much and she gets lost along the way between what she wants and what she feels she has to do. I have received a free copy of this book for an honest review.
This is a hilarious story from start to finish! The main character’s fit each other’s personalities perfectly. I did struggle with the beginning because there were just some things that were just a bit too unrealistic. The story flows very nicely though and it makes you want to keep reading. The pacing wasn’t awkward at all. I really enjoyed this.

First by this author and it was a good story, lovely characters
Definitely a great read!! I thought the book was entertaining, page turner, great characters, steamy, with a little bit of action. I loved the book. And I received an ARC for my honest opinion!!
Start to finish, this book is full of witty remarks and laugh-out-loud moments. The main character, Vanessa, is smart and sensitive, yet she doesn’t take herself too seriously. She’s dealing with the loss of someone important to her while supervising a mother who has a troubling compulsion. When Vanessa accepts a job at Stone Corp, San Francisco’s most coveted investment company, she has no way of knowing how much romance and intrigue await her. As the story progressed, I grew more attached to Sebastian, Stone Corp’s alluring CEO. Each time I tried to guess Sebastian’s motives and desires, I was quickly proven wrong. This novel is as exciting as it is unpredictable. I finished it in a few days, eager to see if and how Vanessa could achieve a happy ending amid such complex circumstances.
