I’ts great book I read it so easy and maybe it could be for kids by Sali Humaid.
Age I will give it and 11+
The story is about Esperanza, a beautiful, rich to poor in a matter of minutes, young women.
I love how this book reflects Mexico, not like how it is now but how it was then.
I really don’t understand why Americans think Mexico is the only Latin country in Latin America, I would love if this book talked a little more about other Latin country’s, like Dominican Republic, Argentina and Colombia.
People of my family from 1950s, lived in United states(Dominicans), not like Esperanza though, I know there are millions of Dominicans that have left Dominican republic to go to USA.
Well I know I have cousins of USA and well yeah.
This story is realistic and entertaining, although you might want to cover your face with your hand when something embarrassing happens to Esperanza.
It is a great book for anyone that likes realistic fiction
Great story, and also this book had a recipe and some Q&A with the author, and how to make a little yarn doll. I liked that all the chapters were fruit and vegetable names.
I read this book a long time ago and when I finally remember it I feared that I wouldn’t remember anything about it, but you just can’t forget a book like this. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the relationship that Esperanza had with the other characters in the book. I definitely recommend this book and if you enjoy heart warming stories this is the one for you.

I read this book for school and I am happy that my teacher chose it. This book is about a girl named esperanza who lives in mexico. After her house burns down her family decides to move to the United States of America. This book is about her journey to America. It’s inspirational and a very good read.
Esperanza Rising I like it, it is very sad at parts. I really wish it was free on her so I could continue because I lost my hard copy of the book. .p.
