A male escort. His virgin client. What happens when one night isn’t enough?
“Escort is stunningly sexy and staggeringly heartfelt-gorgeously written and saturated with pure, unadulterated desire.” – Sierra Simone, USA Today bestselling authorI’m an escort, which means this date is nothing more than a mutually enjoyable transaction. There shouldn’t be any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, … any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, but when I walk into the penthouse suite of L’Etoile, everything changes.
1) For one thing, Bea is heartstoppingly gorgeous. Pale green eyes and endless freckles. Curves I want to spend all night exploring, as if her body was made for me.
2) Her innocence makes me want to use my entire inventory of bedroom tricks on her and then invent a few more.
3) Except that… she’s a virgin.
I can initiate her into the world of desire without letting her get attached, can’t I? A few hours of tutoring, and at the end of the night a small fortune will be deposited into my bank account.
But once I realize one night with her won’t be enough, I’m the one who’s screwed.
“ESCORT is perfection only Skye Warren can deliver–a poetically erotic tale of exquisitely damaged characters, devastating secrets, revenge and redemption.” – Samanthe Beck, USA Today bestselling author
“Hypnotically romantic…this book reads like a sensual dream and I didn’t want to wake up.” – Tessa Bailey, New York Times bestselling author

This book drove my husband nuts. I couldn’t put it down
Skye Warren is hit or miss for me – but this one was a hit. The relationship development was great and mirrored the sexual intimacy, which IMO is how it should be. The main characters were likeable and loveable. I would have loved to read chapters from Bea’s perspective (its solely first person from the H’s POV). Even so, it was well done.
It was a good read
Great story!
I liked this book. The sex scenes could have gotten a little more graphic but a good story line.
Not a bad read but I so wanted it to be longer, I wanted to learn more about the people involved. Had there been more depth it would have been a 4 star.
Great read and entertaining!
Carbon copy of a half dozen others I’ve read
Hugo and Bea….sigh
This book….sigh
Skye Warren did it again. After the darkness in Hostage, The Escort gives you a different vibes. A male escort, Hugo is everything you want in a man. He will make you swoon, lusting and falling in love so easy. Not because that is his job, but more. Its because its all him. A beutiful man who know how to look and treat a woman. But one suppose to be simple ordinary job night, she was there. Making all become less than simple or ordinary.
Bea is not his typical client. Not just because she’s a virgin, but there are something about her that makes Hugo couldn’t be just a professional. Her innocent, her bravery, her lights than shine all his darks. The hope she bring to him for a different path. Different future.
The Escort wow me in so many levels. Its sexy and seductive ways just…gaaah i wish Hugo is real! That guy could read me yellow pages and i’ll be puddle on his feet! The way Skye write this story just so smooth, sexy, seductive without being vulgary in details. Every time Hugo and Bea together is just like foreplay in the most sensuous ways.
And Hugo, he is so much more than just an escort. First, i was swooning so hard. Then lusting. The more i get to know him, i got angry and heart break for all that has happened to him. And when he let go all his dream, all his purpose just for Bea, i died cause of love of this beutiful man.
Skye Warren just slayed me another day with this book! And they don’t even have to utter one “i love you” for you to feel it in your bones!
OMG hot! Makes me wish I was a virgin piano virtuoso
Not one of her best.
Hugo Bellmont is an escort who is at the height of his profession, rich and in demand. He only works one nighr a week. His current booking is at the penthouse of L’Etoile. His client, Beatrix Cartwright, is a skittish woman bent on losing her virginity. He discovers she has not left the hotel in years and yet she’s becoming an internet phenomenon with her puano playing. He finds himself drawn to this naive woman and sets our to slowly seduce her. The morw he sees her the more he wants her. He wants to help her to leave the confines she’s restricted herself to. He also has an underlying mission to exact revenge on the man who brutally assaulted his mother in Tanger when Hugo was a young boy. He finds out that the owner of the hotel, Edward, is the same man who attacked his mother. Hugo physically assaults Edward when he shows up at the penthouse when it is thought Bea was missing. Edward makes no attempt to deny Hugo’s accusations but Bea finally convince him not to harm Edward any further. She then dismisses them both. Hugo finally realizes that killing Edward will not bring back his mother so instead, he decides to get his revenge by buying the hotel from the man and giving it to Bea. She refuses to take it as a gift but offers to buy the hotel instead. She also refuses to let him walk away telling him she wants “everything.” As does he.
This book was so corny…I didn’t even finish it. That is how bad it was!
It started off good but got boring
Escort qaa riveting and hard to put down. It was funny and a wonderful love story.
Loved it
This was a slow start for me but as the story evolved, so did my love for it. Hugo Bellmont is a complex man. He is an “escort.” Not necessarily a profession that he chose, more like it chose him. He is high end and his wait list is full.
“I pride myself on making them feel like they’re the most incredible woman I’ve ever met, because for one night, they are.”
Beatrix Cartwright, aka Bea, is a wealthy, shy, introvert, and piano prodigy. She has led a quiet, sheltered life. And now she wants to hire Hugo to take her virginity. Seems a bit cliché but there is much more to the story.
Hugo arrives at Bea’s penthouse and finds many surprises. It is not an opulent showcase, but rather a “lived-in” space, furnished with many antiques. Bea is also young. As I said above, she wants Hugo to de-flower her. Initially he rejects her offer but after spending time with her realizes that he doesn’t want anyone else to do it. He wants her to feel passion. He takes things slow, at her pace.
Soon, secrets become revealed. Hugo ends up being an amazing, caring, upstanding guy. A real hero. Protective, charming, loving. Bea is smart, artistic, charming and loving. But she is also very isolated.
Both Bea and Hugo have heartbreak in their past. Hugo’s past leaves him with a need for revenge. He feels that he can obtain that through information that Bea can provide. Bea’s past has left her afraid of leaving the safe confines of the penthouse. Will he give in to his need for information?
The story takes a turn and I was pleasantly surprised. The second half was much more developed and I found myself cheering for Hugo and Bea. They really get to know one another and share their secrets and fears. The heat goes up and the story gets steamy. Really steamy! Hugo also proves himself to be quite the romantic.
“Is it always like this?”
…”It’s never like this.”
The story is a stand-alone told from Hugo’s POV. Hugo speaks many languages including French and Arabic. I loved the way it was incorporated into the story. There were also a few other characters in the story that made me think that there may be other stories to tell…..
“There is no shame in pleasure. And no love in business.”
3.75 stars
One thing that is always consistent with Skye Warren books is that they suck me in. Escort is no different. Have I read a story with a similar plot before? Sure, but what I like about Escort is that there is something something unique that will always stick out.
Hugo has made a decent living for himself working as an escort. He knows what makes woman tick and he’s good at giving them what the need. It’s why they pay so much for his services. When his next appointment brings him to the elusive L’Etoile that he’s been dying to get more information about, he goes into it like every other appointment. Then he meets his client, Bea. She’s everything he isn’t used to. She’s young, an apparent recluse and surprisingly has this sharp wit that draws him in like nothing before. What should be a simple request of helping her lose her virginity, now has become a pull towards her that he can’t deny. He finds himself struggling with his feelings and how much that he is craving her.
Bea has a past that has left her ultimately lonely. She has her reasons for hiring Hugo in order to lose her virginity but when he starts to break down her defenses and helps her see how enjoyable true companionship can be, she is left confused and dying for more of Hugo. Slowly, he’s stealing her heart but she knows it would never work. These two balance each other perfectly and now they have to figure that out.
“I convulse over Bea’s body, collapsing onto her because she’s the only relief I’ve found in a wide-open universe, the only light in a too-dark sky.”
If you are familiar with Skye Warren, particularly with her most recent releases, she’s become one of the top Queens in dark romances. Escort is not really dark and while I love dark romances, this was a bit of fresh air. The heroine was extremely likable, which is I like because let’s be honest, a lot of times I have to go back and look up the heroine’s name when I do my reviews. Not many stand out enough that I remember, let alone can say I truly liked.
Oh, and that moment that Hugo discovers that Bea plays piano and the thing he says to her….HOT. I started fanning myself and possibly drooling. Yes, please. Sign me up for that, Hugo. I’ll take it if Bea doesn’t. Haha
If you are looking for a sexy romance that will make you laugh at the right time but mostly having you panting and dying to have the hero’s hands on you, then Escort is the book for you. You’ll get all kinds of emotions. You’ll laugh. You’ll swoon. You’ll get angry and you’ll love every moment of it. I sure did.
PS – Any Damon Scott fans? He gets a cameo and although I will never get enough of Damon, it was nice to get just a bit more. Even though it was just a little tease. 🙂
This is the first story that I have read that was entirely from his point of view. It was interesting. The only negative I felt was how there was little development in the relationship. But I enjoyed overall.
Skye Warren book? YES, please!!
