A male escort. His virgin client. What happens when one night isn’t enough?
“Escort is stunningly sexy and staggeringly heartfelt-gorgeously written and saturated with pure, unadulterated desire.” – Sierra Simone, USA Today bestselling authorI’m an escort, which means this date is nothing more than a mutually enjoyable transaction. There shouldn’t be any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, … any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, but when I walk into the penthouse suite of L’Etoile, everything changes.
1) For one thing, Bea is heartstoppingly gorgeous. Pale green eyes and endless freckles. Curves I want to spend all night exploring, as if her body was made for me.
2) Her innocence makes me want to use my entire inventory of bedroom tricks on her and then invent a few more.
3) Except that… she’s a virgin.
I can initiate her into the world of desire without letting her get attached, can’t I? A few hours of tutoring, and at the end of the night a small fortune will be deposited into my bank account.
But once I realize one night with her won’t be enough, I’m the one who’s screwed.

Enjoyable read
Hot, Hot, Hot!! Skye Warren is a masterful story teller and her books are steamy!
Seducer becomes seduced. So not the real world!
Thought too much of himself but a good read anyway
Everything that Ms. Warren writes is worth reading.
Loved to plot. Found the hero and heroine delightful.
Interesting though rather predictable premise, beautiful but troubled woman and devastatingly handsome man meet under unusual circumstances, lots and lots of money involved, some secrets in the histories of the protagonists, but it all works out in the end and we have a HEA. Likeable characters and some interesting internal dialogs.
A bit of a disappointment.
I absolutely loved this book! It definitely wasn’t your typical smutty story it had depth and a great story line. The author has a way of sucking you in all the way through to the last page. Sky is one of my new favorite writers.
Good story
I loved Hugo and Bea’s story! Poor Bea, stuck in her ivory tower, and Hugo is the one who wants to claim her. These stories in Tanglewood are so delectable and delicious. I will have reread them in the correct order some day!
I should have read these in order, but they are still readable out of order. I’m just seeing the characters in a different light, because I know how the last book goes.
I would give this book six stars if I could. The writing is incredibly lyrical, and moved me in a way I’ve never felt before. I couldn’t stop reading. I loved the characters, and the story was original. We all know how these books are going to end, but the journey there was unexpected. This book is going to stay with me for a long time.
Hugo was impossibly charming and seductive on the outside, yet inside he was a sarcastic, self-depricating shell of a man. I fell for him immediately, of course. Five swoony stars for this sweet, opposites-attract story.
ESCORT is perfection only Skye Warren can deliver—a poetically erotic tale of exquisitely damaged characters, devastating secrets, revenge and redemption.
A male prostitute chooses love when he helps a young woman become strong enough to overcome her fears.
I always find Sky Warren’s books to be intriguing. In this story the heroine, Bea, has agoraphobia and has not left the hotel where she lives since she was a child and her parents were killed. She wants to be rid of her virginity but since she doesn’t date she has no choice but to call an escort service. Handsome Hugo with the french accent is sent by the escort service and he’s immediately intrigued by Bea.
I thought the storyline was really unique and I got sucked in mostly wanting to see Bea evolve. I didn’t always connect with Bea and Hugo as a couple but maybe that is just me (given the rest of the ratings). This book is definitely worth the read.
Boy, howdy, do I love it when a book is both FREE and EXCELLENT. Talk about a win-win. Ms. Warren’s approach to writing sex is lyrical and beautiful–and no less hot for it. And her characters are truly endearing.
I really enjoyed this story. I was surprised by the few twists and turns.
Something about this book makes it hard for you to put down. Combination of interesting characters, hot steamy romance, but still a sweet relationship will keep you reading…although knowing perhaps this is not real.
3.5 Stars – Enjoyable but developable.
I met the characters briefly in the Survival of the Richest Duet (which were my first books by this author) and was so intrigued by them that I had to read their story. The heroine was too scared to leave her penthouse suite and the hero was an escort hired to take away her virginity. Well, it doesn’t sound too bad if you’re into those kinds of things and I definitely wasn’t opposed to it. Sadly, although this story was quite unique in a way as I’d never read a similar story, I was a bit disappointed especially because it lacked in emotions. But the characters were very interesting and it wasn’t at all badly written.
The Story:
Hugo knows how to pleasure women. And he does it so well actually, that it’s his well-paid job to make women feel beautiful and wanted. But when his new client reveals why she hired him, his first reaction was to decline. Her beauty though, which went beyond her looks, brought him down to his knees in a way he never experienced before.
Thoughts:
It started out pretty good but felt like the story got lost along the way when Hugo was only after revenge. Then everything happened too quickly and I didn’t feel that there was a difference between Hugo and Bea and between him and his other clients; although he was never with anyone else in this story. Where were the emotions? Where was the love? The passion?! The hot and sweaty? I expected a lot more steam than what we got. And where was the love between them that charmed me into reading their story from the Duet of Harper’s story?
Hugo really knew his way with women but then, that was his job. It was sexy nonetheless. Deep inside he was still the troubled boy from his past and wanted nothing more than to be loved for more than his looks. I felt bad for how he was always just reduced to his body but luckily he found Bea who was the first to make him feel different and somewhat out of his element to finally see the difference between sex and love-making. She unraveled him and made him lose control.
I really liked the concept and the idea of this book but it did not wow me as much as I had anticipat-ed. I couldn’t fully connect with the characters which could have been partly because it was only in his POV and like I mentioned before I didn’t feel much of a difference in how he would have treated his other clients any less than Bea. He thought that she was perfection but I did not truly believe it because he didn’t show it in any way except the one grand gesture. I struggled with my rating because it was enjoyable with flaws so my rating is somewhat between 3 and 4 Stars.
