A male escort. His virgin client. What happens when one night isn’t enough?
“Escort is stunningly sexy and staggeringly heartfelt-gorgeously written and saturated with pure, unadulterated desire.” – Sierra Simone, USA Today bestselling authorI’m an escort, which means this date is nothing more than a mutually enjoyable transaction. There shouldn’t be any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, … any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, but when I walk into the penthouse suite of L’Etoile, everything changes.
1) For one thing, Bea is heartstoppingly gorgeous. Pale green eyes and endless freckles. Curves I want to spend all night exploring, as if her body was made for me.
2) Her innocence makes me want to use my entire inventory of bedroom tricks on her and then invent a few more.
3) Except that… she’s a virgin.
I can initiate her into the world of desire without letting her get attached, can’t I? A few hours of tutoring, and at the end of the night a small fortune will be deposited into my bank account.
But once I realize one night with her won’t be enough, I’m the one who’s screwed.
“ESCORT is perfection only Skye Warren can deliver–a poetically erotic tale of exquisitely damaged characters, devastating secrets, revenge and redemption.” – Samanthe Beck, USA Today bestselling author
“Hypnotically romantic…this book reads like a sensual dream and I didn’t want to wake up.” – Tessa Bailey, New York Times bestselling author

It was kind of boring to me. It was slow moving and I didn’t feel the love or romance.
DNF 25%. I kinda wanted to see where this was going but by 25% my curiosity was no longer worth it.
It was ok. I found it slow and not very exciting. The writing was fine but somewhat tedious in places. I had to push myself to finish it.
It was kind of slow. Not a ‘page turner’. The story was ‘sweet’ though.
I just didn’t like this book. I never finished it. I read 1/2 and that was as far as I could go.
I just feel like there could have been a lot more to this book.

Set in Skye Warren’s Tanglewood, with cameo appearances in The Den from Damon & Penny and Gabriel & Avery, Hugo and Bea’s story is perfect.
Hugo, male escort extraordinaire, sought after for his exquisite ability to deliver pleasure, but for him, it’s just his job. Until his next client, Beatrix Cartwright, with all her shy quirkiness makes it more, makes Hugo want more. But Hugo has a secret he’s keeping from her, another reason he wants to get to know Bea.
I loved the slow build up of Hugo and Bea’s romance. They had huge hurdles to overcome and a good deal of personal baggage, but the characters were so likable, you couldn’t help but want nothing less than their HEA.
I liked the food in this story but I’m sorry other than that this story didn’t hold my interest.
I think this book has a huge advantage because it’s in the male POV. Seeing this story thru Hugo’s eyes made this extraordinary. Honestly, I don’t think it would have worked at all in Bea’s POV. Anywho … the story had an electric charge to it. Hugo bleed charisma and magnetism. He wasn’t just sexy on the outside, but also the inside. But he was also very modest and maybe a little shy. I know that sounds like the opposite of what I just said, but that’s Hugo for ya ….
Bea was a beautiful soul. I loved all her different layers. Especially was the story started to progress and they become more than just lovers. These two were truly meant to be. The author has really developed two unlikely pairings to be very likely. (that seemed wordy lol)
Bottom line, this is the story of two souls lost in their own darkness that brought each other into the light. It’s a must read, imo.
I loved the “Excort” character; not what I expected.
Skye Warrens writing never disappoints! This story of a man who seeks revenge for his mother but finds love instead had me at the mention of “Tanglewood.” Tanglewood is the name of the city we’re other beloved books take place in. Skye writes with raw sincere honesty. There is so much more to this story so, I highly recommend you read this book. It also sets us up for future books in this series. Thanks again Skye for your passion.
This was a surprising male POV from a male escort with a tragic past and his virgin client with a past of her own. There love story ends up being sweet and very real I enjoyed this nice short read

Escort was a stand-alone by Skye Warren.
Hugo was a paid escort. It was a job. He provided a service to the elite women of the city. He created pleasure. And although he received pleasure, the focus was on the client’s experience. He was never attached and there was never any emotion beyond the enjoyment of the act.
Bea hired an escort service and that’s all we knew about her. Warren then slowly – and I mean slowly – unfolded small pieces of Bea with each interaction with Hugo. She was a mystery.
The premise of an escort service was not unique but Warren’s unfolding of the story was unique. Additionally, it was written from a single POV, Hugo’s; therefore, Bea’s motives and secrets were kept a mystery for most of the book. She was odd but likable.
As for the writing style, it almost read like a documentary. Hugo spoke of how he felt so I could picture it as if I were watching it on screen but I didn’t experience it. I felt as if I were observing from a far. It was almost mechanical, but still enjoyable.
Warren also included an intriguing secondary cast of characters; most of which we’ve seen in Warren’s Endgame trilogy. We can finally get the wild and snarky Harper’s story in The Trust Fund Duet.
I really enjoyed this romance. Bea (Beatrix) and Hugo stole my heart! I adored both these wounded characters and I am so happy that they found one another. Their’s is a story that is heavily based on pure emotion. There is a bit of drama and action that adds touch of angst and excitement but truly this read is all about the heart. The chemistry was sizzling and the intimate scenes were steamy. I felt that there was so much sweetness and tenderness in this book. A beautiful, heartwarming romance.
.
If you’re looking for a lightweight, contemporary romance that’s funny you might like this. I was entertained by the main character. I liked that Hugo was a different billionaire Alpha than what Skye Warren usually writes.
The ending lost a bit of steam. It wasn’t bad by any means, I was more like “Oh? Well, that’s sweet.”
This was a nice lightweight book to read between dark reads. It was different.
My favorite kind of romance is slow burn, where the characters are given time to know each other, even when the attraction is off the charts! Skye Warren is a master at this, so I’m headed off to find another sultry read by her. Five stars all the way!!
Cute easy romp.
This is the first book I’ve read by this author and the writing flows beautifully. Hugo (hero) is so eloquent in how he speaks that he almost seems to be from another time. There is just something different about Bea (heroine) when compared to other virgin tropes I’ve read, but I can’t put my finger on it. I did enjoy the story, but I was left feeling a little unsatisfied with how Hugo’s personal conflicts were handled/resolved. I did enjoy how the story came to a close and kind of set the scene for future books of other characters. I wonder if this is typical of the author’s writing style based on the deviant characters in her stories.
