A male escort. His virgin client. What happens when one night isn’t enough?
“Escort is stunningly sexy and staggeringly heartfelt-gorgeously written and saturated with pure, unadulterated desire.” – Sierra Simone, USA Today bestselling authorI’m an escort, which means this date is nothing more than a mutually enjoyable transaction. There shouldn’t be any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, … any surprises, not for one as jaded as me, but when I walk into the penthouse suite of L’Etoile, everything changes.
1) For one thing, Bea is heartstoppingly gorgeous. Pale green eyes and endless freckles. Curves I want to spend all night exploring, as if her body was made for me.
2) Her innocence makes me want to use my entire inventory of bedroom tricks on her and then invent a few more.
3) Except that… she’s a virgin.
I can initiate her into the world of desire without letting her get attached, can’t I? A few hours of tutoring, and at the end of the night a small fortune will be deposited into my bank account.
But once I realize one night with her won’t be enough, I’m the one who’s screwed.

In Escort we meet Hugo who is a high paid escort. There is so much more to his story though. When he meets Bea who is a client he is blown away and when he finds out she just wants him there to take her virginity his whole world is rocked. You see Bea isn’t just another customer to Hugo and she also could be his key to revenge for his past. A past that broke my heart really. Hugo and Bea have not had easy lives. His I will let you read and find out but Bea is probably one of the richest women in America since her parents died and she inherited everything but Bea was young and has a guardian. Sadly it seems that he didn’t really care about her he just put her up in a penthouse and there Bea stays 24 hours a day basically with her thoughts, paralyzing fear, and a passion for music and playing the piano that blow people away. I loved these two characters so much. I loved their stories and back stories and I wanted only the best for them. I was also happy to see The Den again and Damon Scott. I love when past characters show up in books you totally don’t expect them to. This is so much more than escort meets client. This is a beautiful love story that you will fall in love with.
Oh how I love Skye’s work! And this book is no exception!
Escort is beautiful and it’s tragic and it gives you all the feels.
This is the story of Hugo & Beatrix (Bea). The escort and the client. That’s how it starts but it becomes so much more.
Hugo is amazing, I loved reading his back story and his heritage. I can just imagine his accent when he speaks to Bea. You feel for him when he has to make his choice and how it pulls him apart.
Beatrix is a rare gem. She is funny and she is so closed off from the world, both literally and figuratively.
Hugo and Beatrix’s chemistry is off the charts and I love how Hugo carefully brings her into the world, both in the bedroom and out.
I so enjoyed reading it from the POV that Skye chose. I don’t want to spoil anything and say whose it is, but it’s fantastic.
There is such passion, lust and love in this story. It’s fast paced and so well written! Thank you for another stellar story Skye! I cannot wait to read what is next from you!
Readers!! Get your hands on this when it becomes available! You will love it!
Devilishly dirty and seductive!
The type of read to sit back and enjoy!
Well written sexy, fast paced easy read.
The hero of this story is none other than an a professional escort named Hugo. Unapologetic, no holds bar, he is who he is and is ready to take on any challenge!
One particular client presented a challenge that had me laughing, and swooning over his sexy antics!
Escort is a good steamy read by Skye Warren, but its not as great as her Endgame series.
The story takes place in the same world as Gabriel and Damon, but it’s about a sexy escort with an agenda and a young woman with fears of leaving her penthouse.
I had a good time reading it, but I don’t plan on rereading it anytime soon.
This is my very first Skye Warren book, and it definitely won’t be my last! Escort was an alluring and bewitching romance that challenges the boundaries of what true love means.
I was intrigued with the storyline immediately, which was a refreshing surprise because I had no idea what the book was about. But from what the title and cover offered, I had to find out more!
The love story behind Escort is quite unconventional. It’s more than just two people meeting and falling in love. It blends fascination and apprehension together to form a beautiful tale of tenderness, passion, and devotion. The lives of Hugo and Bea couldn’t be more different; their chemistry sparks an effervescent quality to their unique relationship that strengthens the quality of the storyline. Where Hugo holds secrets and shame, Bea struggles to live a life worthy of happiness and independence. They each see beyond what is in front of them, and look at the soul of the person, knowing them deep down in their heart of hearts.
I really liked this book. There were times in the story that I connected more with the characters versus other parts, but it’s the author’s wonderful writing that truly showcases the book’s powerful irresistibility. I loved that the story was told entirely from Hugo’s POV, and think it exhibited his infectious charm, thoughtfulness, and addicting persona perfectly. He’s definitely an unforgettable character! Overall, Escort was a highly gratifying quick read!
4 Stars!
So the general premise here is pretty unrealistic (comparisons to Pretty Woman come to mind), and there are a few coincidences in the narrative that really stretch the bounds of believability. But other than that, this is a really good book!
A kind-of insta-love between a male escort and the rather different young woman who hires him. Let’s just say that neither is what the other one expected, but each is what the other needs. Hugo and Bea each have their own quirks, demons, and other assorted baggage. Despite all of that, as well as their age difference and the rather unusual employer-employee nature of their relationship, they just seem to click with one another. That neither ever thought they’d find someone to feel that way about is an added bonus.
There are some dark themes in the story related to each of their pasts. And as the story progresses, Hugo and Bea have some serious issues to overcome. The fact that each makes significant sacrifices for the other, however, does help to mitigate some problems though, and certainly does a lot to strengthen their love for one another. This is a fairly easy and quick read, about a couple of adoreable and intriguing characters; one that I definitely recommend for lovers of Contemporary Romance with an Insta-love Rags-to-Riches theme.
I was suprised with this book, it was so much more then an escort story; in fact, I might not even call it one. Yes one of the main characters is an escort, but it plays a small and secondary role (at least in my opnion). I enjoyed the story line and the characters, their development and passion. I felt it was too short and there was something missing. It was good, definitely worth reading, but I wanted more interaction outside of the hotel and a stronger and more indepth epilogue of their future. I will be reading the next book about the secondary characters from this story.
What a tangled web she weaves…
Skye Warren is always peaking interest. Always teasing the recesses of your mind. She has this innate ability to hook you with a scene, a thought, or a promise. It doesn’t matter where this “hook” leads you. Mais non, the journey is always going to blind you, distract you, or mislead you. Or maybe it’s just Tanglewood…
There is no fictional town that could ever compare to Tanglewood. The men hiding in the shadows and depths below the glitter have always intrigued me. The Escort is just another twist in the highlights of this ever intriguing place.

4.5 Amazing Stars!
Those of us familiar with this author’s writing will be ecstatic with her newest story, Escort, a Standalone that is told in Hugo’s, the male character, perspective. Ms. Warren has magical a way with words; most of her stories are filled with dark and strangely erotic characters that dwell in the twisted and debauched made up city of Tanglewood. The majority of her heroes and heroines are damaged souls that are looking for redemption, some would say revenge, and Hugo and Bea are no exception to the rule.
“Virgins don’t hire me.”
As a highly in demand, and highest paid escort in Tanglewood, Hugo Bellmont can afford the luxury of working just one night a week. He thinks he’s seen and heard it all. Or so he thought until he arrived for an appointment with a new client. He’s both shocked and surprised by Bea, as she wishes to be called, and what she hired him for. Why would someone so young have to, or want to, hire a male prostitute? He tries to refuse her proposition at first but after some thought, convinces her to spend some time together, to get to know one another. He considers himself a gentleman first and foremost and plans to seduce her before he’s willing to complete the job he was hired to do.
“How does she see inside me, like my skin is made of glass?”
Beatrix Cartwright, a young and beautiful woman, has been living in the Penthouse suite at the exclusive L’Etoile hotel and has never ventured outside the hotel due to her agoraphobia. She’s been living there for over ten years, sent there by her guardian, after her parent’s tragic death. While she does occasionally leave her suite, to dine at the hotel restaurant, she never leaves the property. The only interaction she has with the outside world, other than the trusted hotel employee, are the messages from her fans who watch her piano performances. As a talented pianist she tapes herself playing and has become an internet darling with a huge fan base. While Bea has a very good reason to hire Hugo, one she doesn’t want to share at first, he finally convinces her to confess her secrets. For someone so young and apparently naïve, she can be very observant and perceptive.
“Most people would think he’s happy. It feels like he’s full of joy, but there’s sadness, too. A part of him that longs for a world more colorful than this one. And when I’m around him I long for that world, too. Have you ever met a person like that? A person who made you dream of more?”
I loved Hugo, with his old world manner and speech, I felt as if this story could be set in another era. When his tragic history is revealed, and we learn what he’s had to overcome at such an early age, I’m amazed by the kindness and humanity he still has. While Bea was unsure and scared of stepping outside her comfort zone, she proved to have a backbone made of steel for someone who’d been sheltered her entire life. It would come in handy at a critical time.
Amazing!! The perfect combination of sexy and sweet. I was immediately drawn to Bea, I really admired her strength and determination. And Hugo…. totally swoon worthy!! I really liked that it was unlike any other book I’ve read before.
ESCORT is the first book I’ve read by author Skye Warren and it was a pretty, gentle tale. There was no angst, no OW/OM, just a guy and a girl.
Except, the guy Hugo is a male escort and the girl Bea, is the heiress who hires him to be her first lover.
This could have been a dark and bitter tale given Hugo’s history which we get through his inner musings throughout the story, which is told in his single POV. It’s actually a sexy tale about discovering a sweet and profound love and I enjoyed every second reading it.
Escort is Hugo and Bea’s story. This a book that can be read in a few hours. Bea is an heiress, a virgin with agoraphobia. She needs to get rid of the virgin status and calls an escort agency. Hugo is the male escort that is sent to her place not aware that she is a virgin until she tells him. I love that he didn’t take her virginity that night. I won’t tell you when it will happen you will have to read Escort for that info.
I really enjoyed this short and kind of sweet romance. If it can be sweet when an escort is involved and is a hot romance at the same time.
I wasn’t sure if I would fall in love with Hugo but, I did. Turns out that he is perfect for Bea.
I loved the story and give Escort 4 stars.
First thing we should discuss is that outrageously sexy cover! That naughtily sly smirk on this face makes me clench up a bit! I mean, just look at it! It’s gorgeous! Plus that pink pops off that cover with the deep colors of Hugo’s sexiness in the back. Sigh… its just perfect! Bravo to Miss Skye Warren’s cover designer, its perfection! The cover could NOT be better for the words Warren put inside.
With a title like “Escort” I knew this was going to be a hot book, however, I wasn’t prepared for the amount of romance that was in this book. Maybe it’s because this book is entirely in Hugo’s POV or maybe it’s because he is INCREDIBLY romantic… you choose. So we have Hugo, the top-paid escort in Tanglewood. He’s an escort of the high profile elite. He’s so honest… almost a bit blunt but extremely open. The way Hugo thought about Bea and how his feelings escalate is beautiful to read.
Bea has some issues. She wants an expert to relieve her of her innocence. Hugo is definitely attracted but has some problems with her offer. Did I mention that Bea if seriously incredible. I loved watching her change and evolve over the book. The connection between them FEELS real. Skye Warren created a truly unique and heart-filling story. Warren’s writing and flow totally engulf me into her worlds. These characters become my friends while I read and when I’m finished, I miss them. That is what makes a talented author.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Escort is told from Hugo’s point of view, which is a refreshing change. You don’t get many Romance’s written from a male point of view. Hugo is a well known and popular escort who has always set his job as just that, a job. That all changes when he enters Beatrix’s penthouse. She is a shy virgin suffering from agoraphobia. She hires Hugo because she wants to be rid of her pesky virginity. She expects zero pleasure, she just wants it gone. After hearing this unique request, Hugo has other plans and sets out to seduce Bea and show her more pleasure than she could ever hope to dream of.
I enjoyed this story so much. Given the storyline, it has a funny and sweetly charming aspect I was not expected. Hugo and Bea’s love story was slow and sexy and so sweet. I loved that we got to revisit with characters from past stories, though this can certainly be read as a stand alone. Warren hit it out of the park with this one and I highly recommend this story. I think even people who do not normally go for Escort storylines will enjoy this.
“From the very beginning, sex has been a way to make a woman feel beautiful, feel pleasure. Only now does it seem like something else.”
Escort is a seductive slow burn romance that will leave you begging for more. We are introduced to Hugo Bellmont, a beautiful man highly sought out for his special set of skills. He is an escort, unfortunately he can’t remember the last time he touch a woman for his own pleasure.
“They hire me because they want me to be the empty man, the one who can fuck them the way they want, not the way I want, the one who can act like I love them without feeling a thing.”
When Hugo arrives at a new appointment, he finds himself drawn to the wild young woman in front of him. Beatrix Cartwright is a nervous, shy and talented pianist. However she suffers from agoraphobia and is unable to leave her hotel. She has an issue and only Hugo can solve it.
“It’s like the scent of blood, the small proof of her pleasure. I’m a predator crouched over her, untamed, made ferocious by the taste of her.”
Both make each other dream of a different life then what they are living but not everything is as it seems. We are given mystery, revenge, and pleasure. A few characters from previous books made an appearance which made me extremely giddy. If you enjoy sweet anticipation you should definitely read this book.
“There is a whole universe waiting for us, and we find it one star at a time.”
I will read just about anything Skye Warren writes, even crazy instructions on how to put flat-pack furniture together. So, this was a no brainer. And it was so worth it.
Normally when you think about escort agencies, you think about females going out to service males. That’s not what happens here. In this one, we get Hugo, a male escort. He’s very popular with all the ladies and he loves his work. He’s managed to build up quite the portfolio and spends most of his time doing other things. He only works one night a week, and he is in high demand.
Beatrix lives in the penthouse of L’Etoile. She’s lived there for more than a decade, and she doesn’t leave the hotel. Ever. She’s decided that she’s ready to rid herself of her virginity, and the best way to do it is to hire an escort to do the deed. No muss, no fuss, and no connections. She tells him that she doesn’t even need pleasure, she just wants the thing gone. But, Hugo isn’t willing to do that to Bea, who is one of the most beautiful women he’s ever seen.
This book takes place in Skye’s Tanglewood ‘verse, so there are some familiar locations and some familiar characters that we meet. It’s nice to see them. But, the book is a standalone, so if you haven’t read any of the other books that take place in Tanglewood, you aren’t going to miss anything. Those familiar characters are basically little more than cameos used to push the story forward. But that’s OK, Hugo and Bea are more than enough for this book.
They are both fantastic characters who are very detailed and richly written. I loved getting the feel of each character and how real they felt. I’d love to see another story from them at some point, just to see how things are going.
This book is about Hugo Bellmont who is a well sought out escort that is seeking revenge on the owner of the hotel L’Etoile.
Bea, an heiress to millions, lives in the penthouse apartment of the hotel and has not stopped outside in ten years since her parents were killed and her guardian placed her there.
What happens when she decides she wants to lose her virginity and calls for an escort for the task? You must read the book to find out. You will not be disappointed.
It has all of the infamous twists and turns of Skye Warren’s books. Get yours today. A definite must read!!
Damon is in here! And Gabriel!!!
Hahaha is that considered a spoiler?? No, no… just them being a side piece to this story is all (from the endgame/masterpiece series)
So wow, I totally loved it! realistic as always. The beginning, adorable. The confrontation, gripping. The past, shocking. And the love? Ohhh so incredible. The depth, plot, characters, ugh this author is just amazing. I don’t know how she creates such an amazing personality with all of her heroines but I absolutely loved Bea
~WRITING – PLOT – PACE~
I knew going in that this one was going to be a bit outside my comfort zone. I usually avoid books with escort heroes but I really like this author’s writing so I figured if anyone could get me to enjoy a book with a male prostitute Skye Warren could. And I enjoyed it. Oh, I still struggled with the fact that he was basically the top-selling whore of Tanglewood (gag). The fact that he only worked Saturdays (for a while previous to meeting Bea) and was never with another client after he meets Bea made him slightly more palatable. I found the writing to be very good if a bit flowery. In fact, pretty much everything about this book was flowery. The setting (which I loved). The way the characters spoke. The ambiance. The sex scenes. The entire book was very grandiloquent. The pace was very good. It was a fairly quick read that took me a couple hours to get through. The plot was engaging. There was a bit of an underlying mystery that added some nice depth to the story. The entire book is told through Hugo’s POV. I usually prefer dual POVs in my books, but the single POV worked quite well here. Last, it was all wrapped up in a satisfying ending.
~HERO~
HUGO… I liked him. He was charming. He was sweet. He was sexy. He was damaged. He was quite taken by Bea from the moment he meets her. I wasn’t a HUGE fan of the fact he was an escort but considering I knew that going in it didn’t take away from my rating at all.
~HEROINE~
Bea…I enjoyed her character as well. She was sweet. She was damaged as well. I felt for her and the very sheltered life she lived. I loved how she was with Hugo and I loved the strength she showed at the end. She was a very likable heroine.
~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
Most of the secondary characters in this one are familiar faces from previous books. We get to see Damon and Penny again. Harper. Along with a few other guys. My inner Scooby sense tells me we MAY be getting a book featuring Harper, Sutton, and Christopher. Whether it will be a menage or a love triangle, or neither, I do not know. But I am VAWRY intrigued by the prospect.
~HEAT LEVEL~
Medium. The sex scenes in this one were fairly hot. Again, like most of the book, they were on the flowery side. The frequency felt organic to the story and the main couple had amazing on page chemistry.
~ANGST LEVEL~
Low. I didn’t find this one particularly angsty and there really wasn’t any OW or OM drama. Hugo’s madame and the woman that took his virginity at 15 pops up a few times, but she doesn’t really cause any issues. And Bea’s guardian wants her, but again he really causes no issues. That said, I wasn’t a HUGE fan of all the mentions of Hugo’s escort life and his OW. But again, I KNEW when I signed up that the hero got paid for sex, so it didn’t take away from my rating. But I know some people are bothered by that type of thing so I figured I’d mention it.
~IN THE END~
I enjoyed it for the most part. Like I mentioned I did struggle with Hugo’s profession. I knew going in that I would. Hence the whole “stepping out of my comfort zone thing.” I just couldn’t stop thinking about poor Bea having to run into Hugo’s former clients whenever they went out anywhere. Especially since he specifically mentions one right at the end. That said, the writing was very good. The characters likable and the plot engaging. Therefore yours truly is going to give this one two thumbs up.
