Jenna is a girl in the foster system and wise beyond her years. The relationship she forges with Cora will both soothe your soul and break your heart, but I loved it all the same. When their case worker moves away they are now paired with Enzo. He’s a gorgeous man with a huge heart and he knows better than to become attached to “his” kids, but there’s just something about Jenna that pulls him in like a magnet. The bond these two share is something to behold and you can definitely feel the chemistry between them. I always enjoy K Webster’s taboo world, and this was no exception. I will say it was a little different than what I expected, but I loved it all the same. Another great addition to K’s taboo world!

Although this book is short, it hits you just right and you will love it. Sometimes age gaps in a book tend to be off. This book was very well written and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Enzo is a short, taboo treat that felt like a special gift of deliciousness! There’s just something about an age gap story done right that really hits the spot. Surprisingly, this wasn’t a smutfest. It was full of heart and character development, while still packing plenty of heat.
Jenna was an unhappy foster kid, bouncing from bad home to bad home. In one of these homes, she finds her heart in a sweet child and decides that when she ages out, she’s not leaving alone. The only other person to make her time pass easier is Enzo. He’s her super hot caseworker and he goes above and beyond for his charge. He knows he shouldn’t feel the way he does. He knows that she’s forbidden fruit. But when she turns 18, all bets are off.
Jenna’s situation was heartwrenching and I loved how empathetic Enzo was with her. This story was full of passion and compassion and while it was taboo, I couldn’t help but realize how romantic it was. Their journey might have been rough, and the author definitely put these characters through their paces, their happy ending was hard won and worthwhile. I can’t get enough of this author’s writing and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
Ready for K. Webster’s next Taboo book?? Well I am here to tell you my little Taboo lovers, lol she has a new book, just about to be release, and just for us Taboo Lovers and it’s called ENZO
And…. I have a confession: I get sooo excited when Webster releases one of these short stories that I just want to lock myself in a room for a few hours and read until I am done..haha
”Jenna’s grown up in the system.
Forced to be tough, wary, and hard.
She’s only been able to count on herself.
Until Enzo.
He’s much older and responsible for looking after her.
What should be a job to him, evolves into much more.”
Yeahhh my heart broke for Jenna. She lived in such a crap situation that when Enzo came around…I was cheering for her cuz I could not take all the BS she had to go through. Anddd if you have read Webster’s books before, you know her leading men are BAD ASSES and they will make everything right!! Ohhh and they may make a few of those awful jerks disappear!! Lol
Thank you for another 5 Star-Awesome read K. Webster, I will be waiting patiently for my next taboo fix!! Haha xoxo

giggle snort!!
Enzo is a short, delicious read from the taboo queen K.Webster. If you read Dane you’d got a tiny glimpse of Enzo and Jenna. And finally get to see what really happened.
The chemistry between these two strong. Enzo is very protective of Jenna and is willing to do anything to make sure she is happy and to help her.
This story as heart, and very delicious heat between these two. Jenna is a forest kid that was put in the system at a young age. She had no one to care for her till Lorenzo, her caseworker took her on. She’s about to turn 18 and there are only two things she wants. To care for another foster kid and Enzo.
When feelings start to develop and lines start to get crosses, what is gonna happen to these two? You’ll have to read to find out.
Enzo is a very committed social worker to his kids, because of his past, maybe … because life gave him another chance.
Jenna is an orphan, enduring and waiting for her 18 years to be able to get ahead, she has struggled so much to continue living that her strength was heartbreaking, one day her baby banshee arrived at one of the many temporary homes, and there she took care of everything , protecting that angel without wings for his life, together it was easier, they cared for each other and loved each other. But of course everything could fall apart at any moment, that’s where this man appears, surpassing limits and seeking well-being for them …
Enzo wraps them in her wings to protect them and give them something better, despite the years of difference, the responsibility of her work, of risking everything that he had built in the years.
All for Jenna.
They can call her Taboo but for me it was one of the most “tender” books I read about her. I hope they cheer up and meet Jenna and Enzo

Damn…. this was really good for a shorter story. Enzo and Jenna, wow. Hot, sexy, and so damn cute together. The end made me smile.
“A beautiful, broken girl, so worthy of love and affection it makes my heart ache.”
This was a super fast read for me. I devoured it in one day! I loved everything about it from beginning to end!
Ok… so I know these books in K Webster’s Taboo series are standalone’s. But I feel to get the full effect of who’s who. And their story of how some of these girls know each other. You should read the other books. It just makes more sense when you finally get to this book. And you just get a treat of all the other characters popping in and out of this book and all the others. They are all just so entwined.
This book was kinda sad! I had tears in my in certain parts of this book! I wasn’t expecting that. I like how things started between Enzo and Jenna.
Enzo and Jenna had a lot going against them. But Enzo was willing to do what ever it takes to protect Jenna! He hated that she was in the situation she was in. And he tried his hardest to make things easier for her.
Jenna was a strong girl. Having been in the foster system her whole life. She didn’t have a childhood. She learned pretty quick how to survive.
“There’s no hanging in there. A better phrase would be, “Don’t drown.” Life is going to try to push you under the water—stand on you, smashing you to the ground way down below. It’s dark and cold, and you’ll feel as though you’re suffocating. You’ll be alone. So fucking alone. Don’t drown”
I don’t want to give a lot away. But this book had it all for me. It didn’t feel as taboo for me then the other books. I was expecting it to be just a little dirtier then it was. But I think everything that Jenna was going through kinda put things on the back burner. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!! I have a feeling I know who it’s going to be!

There was so much depth and emotion right from the start of this Taboo Treat. These characters were so understandably vulnerable and watching them come together was rather sweet. About midway through the book, another possible bomb got dropped and I was eager to see how it would play into the rest of the story. I love that Webster can write a sexy romance, but pull all those emotional strings as well. It is truly a talent. The ending of this one was very satisfying, and left me dying to read more about Dr. Dan.
This has to be one of the sweetest books in this series, Enzo is Jenna’s caseworker, Jenna was given up as a baby and spent her entire life bouncing from foster home to foster home. She makes her own little family when banshee baby lands rooming with her and now Jenna and Cora are a packaged deal. Enzo can’t help but to fall for the almost 18-year-old.
This is the tamest book by this author I still loved it and it was nice to see so much genuine sweetness.

** spoiler alert **
DNF @ 27% ~ yeah, I guess when it said taboo, I wasn’t thinking a relationship between an adult and a child. Even if she’s a month from 18, romance between a child currently in foster care and a caseworker is a severe imbalance of power.
I probably could have handled it if he’d waited until she was fully 18 & not his case anymore ~ but intimate hugs, holding hangs, kissing. Not like it was one oops or a single toe slightly over the line, it happened repeatedly.
Stopped when they started kissing in the restaurant.
Lorenzo Tauber= newest book boyfriend
K Webster’s taboo treats are always hotter than hell, and Enzo did not disappoint. But, I will say Enzo was a little different because not only is the love story there but another storyline is woven among it that is heart warming (and breaking) and beautiful. Five Stars for sure!
Read K Webster, they said. She’s great she said. They lied. She’s INCREDIBLE. The sheer breadth of feeling, of tragedy, of taboo love so desperately needed, of the triumph of the human spirit over the human condition left me stunned. Oh, and it’s incredbly hot too. It was wrong, and then it was right and then it was wrong all over again. K Webster took my moral compass and banged it unprotected all night long.
This story took me by surprise in the best way possible. It made me cry which is something I rarely do while reading but Jenna totally broke my heart with her heartbreaking story. It was so sad but also so heartwarming when good things started to come into her life. One of those being Lorenzo AKA Enzo, who went above and beyond to help Jenna. He quickly became her knight and shining armor and in turn won me over. He was perfect in every way. *sighs dreamily*
I highly recommend reading Enzo if you are looking for a heartwarming romance novel that has a bit of a taboo element in it. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend exploring the other books in K Webster’s taboo world. They’re all quick reads but most importantly, they’re all so freaking good! I seriously can’t get enough of her taboo treats. They’re highly addicting and I wholeheartedly recommend reading them if you love your romance novels with a dash of taboo in them.
K is one of my favorite authors. You never know what you’re getting with her and I love that about her. This book is so sweet, swoon worthy and a must read.
4.5 tasty stars!!
Omg this is a taboo book. But K Webster has me devouring these books. I love all of her “taboo”books. This one didn’t seem too bad.
I am her social worker… but she is mine…
Ugg this book was super hot!! Enzo was yummy! I totally am digging the older man/younger woman shit going down!! Once she was 18.. OMFG!
This book was written beautifully and had my emotions all over the place. Jenna is a strong and resilient young lady. I enjoyed watching her grow and strengthen.
I really enjoyed the entire book and all of its characters. It was a quick read, done within a couple hours. But for being on the shorter side I didn’t feel like anything was rushed. Another great job for this author.
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
sad, boring
“Enzo” is a good book to read at one time. It comes as water (or rather, vodka), and read it really fast and fun. But to return to that position, or write about the great paeans is unfortunately not necessarily.
I have a problem with this book. How many books I read K.Webster that were really sick and worked on the imagination, so “Enzo” is just … ordinary.
Here the history we have the younger girls and the older boy. It is the age difference between them, which in total is not given (or not I caught). I know that Jenna during the book ended eighteen. In any case, here we have an affair with the age difference between the characters, embedded in the dull realities of a social worker and an orphan looking for a foster home.
Then, of course, they happen strange things and the whole plot is turned upside down, but it will learn how to read.
I could not get used to the characters. I’ll tell you that I read this book very quickly, and somehow I did not give advice to like Enzo or Jenny. They are really indifferent to me.
I think a big plus for sneak sheriff McMahon, whom you may know from other books in this series. There will be about it on the blog in the “book to polecajkach” but when I do not know.
I am glad that the author goes back to old form and placed in one of the world his books. Although the sheriff did not like me in “Bad Bad Bad” I am, however, smiled at seeing his name in this position.
“Enzo” did not phase me any sensations. I read this item and all in all it was surprised that it was over. I have the impression that Mr Webster wanted to put a lot of threads, a small number of pages by which, it quickly started and ended as quickly. I do not know if it brought good book, but I’m not enchanted.
This story is so indifferent to me, as yet, no, if I have to be honest. I like the position of the author and certainly not discouraged to read her subsequent books, but “Enzo” However, I was disappointed. For fans of interesting author of the new book a must, and if you deliberately choose books that this position could give a go ahead. Take the author’s other books and see that K. Webster writes really well.
Enzo is the the first book I’ve read by K. Webster and it definitely was a treat. This was a short but sexy taboo story of Jenna, a foster child who is months away from her 18th birthday and her new social worker, Lorenzo Tauber. To say Jenna had a difficult childhood would be an understatement. My heart broke for everything she’s endured in her short life. I loved her strength and her resilience to keep going. And that protective instinct she had for little Cora was just so heart warming and awe-inspiring. Months before aging out of the system, Jenna and Cora are assigned a new case worker. From the very first meeting, you can feel the chemistry between the two. I absolutely loved Enzo so much. He goes the distance to keep her safe and happy. He knew he was crossing the line with her but his feelings for Jenna was too strong and he could not stay away from her. Once Jenna legally turned into an adult, the barriers that kept them from being together was lifted and their physical relationship was off the charts hot! Who knew Enzo was such a dirty talker! There are a few twists and turns that surprised me, but I loved their happily ever after.
This was a great introduction for me to a new to me author!
I think K Webster is my favorite author when it comes to Taboo relationships. She is a master when it comes to crafting relationships that shouldn’t be but work perfectly.
Enzo is Jenna’s caseworker while she is in foster care and is supposed to look out for her well being….. and this is what happens when lines start to blur and you are forced to choose between what your heart wants and following the rules.
