The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires in the third novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling Crossfire series. From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside—so much like my own. … inside—so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.
No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…

The best in a long time.
Loved this series
The last book of the Crossfire series. I was sorry it took so long to be released. It put a satisfying final touch to a great series.
romance adulto
I loved this whole series, one of my favorite authors.
Loved it, if you liked 50 Shades of grey this book is for you!
I LOVE The Crossfire series. Eva and Gideon are my favorite book couple. It’s always an emotional roller-coaster that I never want to end! I would recommend to anyone that loves a good steamy, tear-jerker, of a romance. I would give it a thousand stars if I could!
I love this entire series! Best books ever!! You will learn to fall in love w/Gideon & Eva and their romance is smoking hot!
This is the third book in Sylvia Day’s Crossfire Series. IMO each book of this series just gets better and better. Just before this book was released, it was announced that there will be two more books in the series SO it shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone that we didn’t get an ending any different from the first two books. Picking up where RIY ended, Gideon and Eva are now forced to carry in their relationship in secret. Gideon struggles with trying to figure out what his actions will mean for himself and his relationship with Eva. Eva wonders if they will always have to look over their shoulders. Eva has no one to talk to, she cannot share Gideons secret with anyone. Her friends encourage her to move on but they don’t know that she is still devoted to Gideon. I really don’t want to give too much away but Eva and Gideon have so many hurdles to tackle in this book. The book dragged a little for me in the beginning until the plot starts to unfold and then I was sucked in. Eva deals with several family issues and her ever straining relationship with her mother. She also fights to find her place in the world. Gideon wants her to come work for him but she tries to make him see that she wants to make it on her own. We see more of Cary and the cluster eff that has become his life. Some characters resurface and I cannot wait to see what happens in book four. If all goes well, it should be released before the end of 2013. I know the first day it was released a lot of people were complaining about the ending and how things weren’t wrapped up. Maybe I took the ending easier because I knew there was going to be another book. Yes the ending left me wanting more but so did BTY & RIY. So much happens in this installment and their relationship grows to new levels. Cannot wait to see how the next book unfolds.
This was another intense book in this series. I enjoyed it and I look forward to the next book. I definitely recommend it.
Eva and Gideon are back and the duo are trying to reconcile after what was a necessary but still painful separation. We rejoin the two after finding that Gideon would really do anything to keep his Eva safe from any threat. While taking care of Nathan was necessary as he was blackmailing and threatening Eva, now they have to deal with the fallout. Gideon has already tried to midigate the risk of the police by getting rid of motive and solifidifying alibis but they still need to be cautious. Also Eva wasn’t in on the plan from the get go so she was genuinely hurt by Gideon’s actions and while she understands the pain she felt is still real. Finding their way back to each other without being obvious is like walking a tight rope but the couple are determined even with outside influences trying to interfere. When Brett believes he has a shot now that Eva is ‘single’ he tries to make his move and the ever present Corinne is acting even crazier than usual in her desire to have Gideon back. Add to that a reporter whom Gideon once spurned, Gideon’s jealous and vengeful stepbrother Christopher, and Corinne’s estranged husband and the hits just keep on coming. Also if there relationship wasn’t enough drama to deal with add to that Cary’s triangle drama, Eva’s parents who’s unrequited love comes to a head, and her father discovering about her past – and needless to say everyone’s got a lot on their plates. But at its core their love is the most important and has the ability to conquer. Finally secrets are out in the open and trust is hard fought and well earned. The world keeps spinning around them but it really does stop for these two at times.

FINALLY!!!
This is the book I was waiting for in the series! Entwined With You is the third book in the Crossfire series and the first book where our main characters really seem to find their stride with one another. They still have issues, obviously, but Eva’s back and forth has really been dwindled down to a minimum. I’m glad too because after two books of it, it was starting to get old.
Now that the characters have their own groove, it’s really allowed the rest of the story lines to blossom. Things with peripheral characters are becoming much more pronounced and interwoven with Eva and Gideon. This is the book where they really start building a life together and stop living their lives separately.
The tension is still there and things are not perfect in loverville, but the walls between Eva and Gideon are falling. He still cant get a handle on not being high-handed, and that bites him in the ass left and right, but the reasons for his control freaky nature are becoming more and more clear.
One thing I will say is that the ending seems very abrupt. As I was nearing the end, I started to get worried because there were not enough pages to tie the story up organically and I was totally right. The ending should have been flushed out a bit more. Luckily, earlier in the day, I had purchased the fourth installment in the series, so I was able to just breeze right along with the story.
Overall, I was greatly impressed with this book. I felt that Entwined With You was the best book in the series so far. Much darker story and more suspense than the previous two books. The steamy factor is jacked to the ceiling, too. These two characters may not be able to get their shit straight outside of the bedroom, but behind closed doors, they were made for each other. No doubt.
This series is one of my favorites. Totally blows fifty shades out of the water. Gideon and Eva have an incredible relationship with ups and downs, happy and sad times but you can still feel the love they have for each other. Eva has tried to move on but Gideon draws her back. They are, to me, a perfect couple. They make you believe in love. I absolutely love this book and the whole series.
Really enjoyed
If you love hot and steamy, then you won’t want to miss reading this series.
A much better read than Fifty Shades and if they made a movie of this series it wouldn’t be fit for cinema. We would have to watch it on Pay Per View, but I surely would watch it.
wow the sex scenes are excellent love the way she describes everything … and the love story continues .. i love eva she is brave, she is sexual and she dont take any crap from anyone .. i definitely recommend this serie
I could put this book down
I’m really enjoying this series. I like the differences from Fifty Shades, in spite of it being compared frequently. I like that the main characters have their own demons to battle but also want to help each other with theirs. I’m enjoying Cary’s story line as well. I realize he’s a mess, but I think he’s a good guy who will figure stuff out eventually.
The relationship between Eva and her mother is a struggle for me to comprehend. I can’t imagine what she must have thought to find out what happened to Eva, but I do think there’s more going on there that we don’t quite know yet.
I’d really like to see something come of the struggle between Gideon and his mother as well. She’s rubbing me the wrong way, but I feel like in most cases people need their mom.
I’m looking forward to continuing the series.
Too much about the peripheral characters and not enough about the main characters
