The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires in the third novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling Crossfire series. From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside—so much like my own. … inside—so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.
No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…

Its gripping and pulls you in from the get go… Gideon Cross is every girls dream
Eva and Gideon’s story continues in Entwined With You. Gideon is pushing Eva away and it is breaking her heart. He has so many secrets he is hiding from her and she wants to know why. When their relationship takes a turn for the worst and Gideon is spending all his time with Corinne, it may be the end for our two lovers.
Eva is left to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. The detectives may have found the suspect in Nathen’s murder and the person of interest is near and dear to Eva. Can Eva move on? Brett, her rock star ex sure hopes so.
Man, I tell you, these two main characters are the most intense and deeply evolved people you will ever read about. This series is highly addictive. So many secrets and twists keep this series interesting. You never know what will get in Gideon’s way next. But you can guarantee nothing will keep him from having Eva. Her mind, body and soul. He will consume her till there is nothing left. I’m not sure if she will survive this relationship. Even though their faith in one another gets stronger everyday. You cannot ask for a better love story. Not only is it hot cardinal sin, but it has a deep storyline filled with emotion. A journey of healing and love. So if you haven’t started this series yet, you better get to it. Remember though..you have to read the first two books to understand everything. So happy reading folks.
I can’t get enough of this series. The only issue I have is I didn’t like the way it ended. It wasn’t quite a cliffhanger but it wasn’t a ending either. But I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
So. Okay. I think I am overdosing on these books by reading them back-to-back like this. This may not have been the best idea. I feel like I am exhausted from all the sex. There is a pretty decent plot brewing that’s fueling me to read on, but there’s only so many ways you can describe twisting a nipple or whatever. I will say, though the plane scene was . . . memorable.
What can I say?! I am intrigued. With every book, it gets better and better. After this 3rd book I really need the next one to read.
There was a lot of the story that I really enjoyed and it wasn’t as repetitive as the first book.
Gideon is just not human for me, as amazing as he is, he can’t be real. And that’s the only downside that won’t leave my head while reading.
Eva has it all. Even when she worries a lot about everything (I can relate to this), she is smart, sexy, and set for her life. How could one not envy her especially about Gideon, Cary and Brett?!..
I would definitely recommend this book. It has a nice reading flow and is an easy read for in between.
Sylvia Day’s Crossfire Series books are brilliant
I loved eve and gideon story.
I liked the book but it’s not as good as fifty shades of grey.
Must read
I must say that this one was a bit better than the previous two books. Eva was not as annoying, though that does not mean that she did not get on my nerves here and there.
However, there are some things that started to bother me.
First, does every character that makes an appearance have to be good looking? Seriously, what is up what that?! I do not think that one character in this series is even average looking.
Second, Cary is really get getting on my nerves. He really should stop using using his past as an excuse for treating people around him like shit.
That being said, he is still better friend to Eva than she is to him. Eva seems to only seek him out when things are going wrong in her life.
Third, Eva’s mom needs to get a life. I know that she felt guilty about what happened with Eva and she wanted to protect her from something bad happening again but there are certain boundaries that you should not cross.
Fourth, does Gideon have a magic stick or what? Seriously, it’s like every woman he has been with goes gaga after they have sex.
And last, there was just so. Much. Sex. I get that this is an erotica but do they really have to jump each other each time they’re in the room together? It sometimes feels like they treat each other like sexual objects rather than human beings.
While it was better than the previous installments, I found Entwined with You to be a bit boring to be honest.
Let’s see what the author has planned for the next installment.
Better than Fifty Shades series by far. Gideon is hotter and more considerate sexually.
The author did a great job of connecting you with the characters and building your connection to them. Loved the romance and drama!
Continuing the story of Eva and Gideon. They work through the ups and downs of their relationship as it progresses. Lots of steamy sex scenes as with the other books in this series.
Torn between a 3 and a 4–this series is well written and I got into it…. for a while. But eventually I just got bored with the angst and melodrama.
I’m writing a review for the entire Crossfire series, which is one I think about even years after reading it.
I stumbled across this series by accident when I was browsing a Half Price Books store several years ago. There was a woman in the same section as me who was on the floor searching through a pile of books she’d pulled from the shelf in front of her. When I bypassed her, she stopped to apologize and asked if I needed in the area she was blocking. I told her no, because I was just browsing, and then she asked if I wanted a recommendation. I said, sure, why not, and she handed me a book from the top of the pile she was digging through. It was the first in the Crossfire series. She said she was frantically hunting the most recently published book in the series but hadn’t been able to find it in any of the discount bookstores because no one was selling it back. She had a limited budget for books and only allowed herself to buy from those kinds of stores but was about to give up her rule and buy it from Barnes & Noble down the street.
I figured that was a pretty good rec, so I bought it, as well as the next few books in the series (that were available at the Half Price Books I was at). Needless to say, I wound up purchasing the most recently released book on my Kindle a few days later because, like the woman I’d run across, I needed more.
Sadly, this is one of those stories I attempted to come back to recently and it doesn’t hold up as well as I remember it, which is the only reason I’m knocking a star off my overall rating. I loved it at the time, but it doesn’t necessarily hold up well over time and doesn’t lend itself to be re-read.
But if you’ve never read this series, I highly recommend it.
So here we are with book 3 of Gideon and Eva with getting their happily ever after. Sylvia Day still keeps us on the edge with the twists and turns and obstacles coming their way. This was one of those books where I have lost words for review, other than amazingly written and characters’ emotions were depicted perfectly. I genuinely feel this was best of best from Sylvia Day. Definitely worth lot more than 5*******************************************************
I loved this series!!
Eva needs Gideon as much as she needed her heart to beat. I love it how she’s ready to fight for a future where she and Gideon aren’t prisoners of their past anymore.
Our couple would love nothing more than to scream to everyone how much they love each other but because of something that happened in books two they need to keep their relationship as a secret. It’s not helpful when people close to Eva wants her to move on and when their past lovers keep causing problems.
I love how their relationship has grown from earlier books. Instead of fighting about every single thing (not saying they don’t fight because they do) they actually trust in each other.
Richard (Eva’s step father) deserves better than Monica. She did him so dirty after everything he has done for her and her daughter. He’s always so understanding and then she went and did that. Jean-François also deserves better than his wife. What is it with these guys and terrible people they married?
There’s also some mystery that I hope will be solved in the next book. I really wonder who was the one protecting Gideon and why? And what is Gideon’s exes up to?
Loved this whole series. Recently listened to the whole series on Audible on my commute to work.
I have read the entire series of Crossfire Series three times and look forward to another good story as this
