From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes an all new story in her bestselling Big Sky Royal series!Princess Eleanor has had it up to her royal eyeballs. She’s surrounded by suitable men, each more rude and obnoxious than the last. None of them are worthy of her heart—not to mention her virginity. So what’s a girl to do? Flee to Montana to stay with her brother, lay low, and avoid … low, and avoid both the media and the men, that’s what.
Liam Cunningham is the head of security in Montana for the royal family. For a man who has seen the worst of human nature in the Army, being in Cunningham Falls is a balm to his tattered soul.
Princess Eleanor, on the other hand, is a royal pain in the butt. She’s proven in the past that she’s a troublemaker. She’s also beautiful, smart, and everything good in life that he doesn’t deserve.
But when Ellie proposes the idea of Liam being her sex coach, how can he resist?

I will first say that it’s been a hot minute since I’ve read a Kristen Proby book. The last ones I read were from the With Me series. Even though Enticing Liam is the second book in the Big Sky Royals series, I did not feel like I was missing out on any past knowledge of previous characters (although I do want to read more about them). It’s a complete standalone within a series for that reason.
With that said, I listened to the audiobook of this one. I thought the book was cute and a bit predictable. It wasn’t exactly unique, but it was sweet and entertaining. We have a Princess (Eleanor or Ellie) and a bodyguard (Liam) that end up falling for one another while the bodyguard schools her in the romance department while he is guarding her in Montana. They are obviously from different worlds, but their attraction will win over that. Like I said, predictable. But it was fun to watch an innocent Ellie learn from her bodyguard.
As far as the audiobook goes, I thought the male narrator did a great job of convincing me he was ex-military and now a bodyguard. He spoke just as I would’ve imagine. Now, the female narrator I had a little issue with. She actually did a great job with her English Princess, but I was a little confused with why she spoke with an American accent when speaking her inner monologue. It didn’t make sense and pulled me a bit from the story.
Overall, the story was a fast “read” and was cute. Nothing too exciting, but it took me away for a few hours to enjoy a royal family member that falls for “an everyday person”. 3.5 stars
5 Star review of Enticing Liam (The Big Sky Series #2) by Kristen Proby
Audio Review:
I loved his book and was absolutely riveted from the first to the last chapter. The performance from narrators Lance Greenfield and Jennifer Mack really brought this story to life for me and I was sad when the story ended.
I fell hard and fast for Liam Cunningham, he ticked all the boxes for me and was totally swoon worthy. I really liked Princess Eleanor (aka Ellie) and together she and Liam make a wonderful couple.
I loved how both Ellie and Liam were so all in with their secret relationship. I also loved how much they both grew as their relationship progressed, particularly Ellie. She went from a naive young woman, to a woman who could hold her own.
My heart was torn as Liam struggles with his place in her “royal life”, it is obvious that he loves Ellie but can he handle the being a part of the life that is Princess Eleanor?
It has been so long since I’ve read something by Kristen Proby, but I’ve always been a fan of her work. I haven’t read the first book in the series, but there wasn’t any confusion of who was who.
Bodyguard/royal romances have been my jam lately, at this point, whatever will keep me focused on my read/listen. So from the beginning, I was already loving Liam and Ellie’s story.
I thought Ellie grew a lot throughout the story, which is always a plus in my book. And being a princess comes with specific obligations, whether you like it or not, you have to show face. I can’t imagine it being an easy thing to do. But Ellie loves her role and her family, should would do anything for them.
Enticing Liam is definitely a sweet, steamy and quick read. I really enjoyed this one.
**A COPY WAS PROVIDED BY THE PR IN EXCHANGE FOR A REVIEW**
This was a great book! I really enjoyed it! Another great read in the Big Sky Royal series. I was excited to get Ellie and Liams story! It is a quick read. I loved that there was no unnecessary drawn out drama! This book will give you all the feels! You can always count on Kristen Proby to deliver a great romance read!
Men are a dime a dozen and after many years of being told what to do Princess Eleanor does the unthinkable. All her life she is told what to do, what to say and now who to marry. Coming from Royalty has it’s ups and downs but after seeing her brother Sebastian find the woman that completes him she wants what he has, love. Then we have bodyguard Liam Cunningham born and raised in Montana he has no idea what to do with Eleanor aka his Ellie. Right away the attraction is there and boy Kristen Proby sure packs the heat between them in a way that it even surprises Eleanor herself. I loved seeing Ellie disrupt Liam from his work and boy does he fall for it. This is the kind of love that Eleanor needs and boy seeing how different she is with Liam is worth reading. This is a great series so far and cannot wait to see more of the Big Sky Royals seeing these royals fall into love is awesome.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
What a great story. It is nice to see a headstrong princess go after what she wants but still keep her beliefs. Also to see a wounded man so broken learn to let go of the past but also to shed his armour was lovely.
Getting away leads to romance!
Princess Eleanor wants to get away from everybody that wants to be around because of her title so she flies to the family vacation home in Cunningham Falls, Montana to spend time with her brother and sister-in-law. Liam Cunningham is in charge of the security of the royal family’s vacation home but for some reason Princess Eleanor makes him want to actually get to know her.
Getting to know her leads to some shenanigans between Eleanor and Liam and that is what reading romance is all about. Enjoy!
This was a quick read and pretty fast paced romance. I felt like it was pretty predictable but still I enjoyed it while it lasted…
Oh my heart and royals!! What an incredibly wonderful read that just filled my heart with so much love. I absolutely loved this story line as this was everything a girl dreams of in a story. Liam and Ellie’s relationship truly provides the reader an incredible escape and now I need to go backwards and read book one
Combine Kristen Proby, a former Army Ranger, and a British princess and you get all the things that make me incredibly happy. I had been looking forward to this book from the first connection that Princess Eleanor and Liam has back in Enchanting Sebastian and it definitely did not disappoint! I was engaged from page one and never wanted the story to end. From the cover to the epilogue, this book was everything I didn’t know I wanted. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
Enticing Liam is a swoonworthy addition to the Big Sky Royals series as I fell in love with Ellie and Liam!
Princess Eleanor is the youngest of 4 children and the little sister to 3 overprotective brothers. She has completely had enough of the parade of gold digging jerks who are only interested in her title or becoming part of the royal family, and after an unwanted proposal she decides to hide out in Montana with her brother Sebastian for a while. Seeing sexy head of security Liam Cunningham is no hardship either.
Liam is far from unaffected by the princess, but their first meeting didn’t go very well when he had to save her from nearly drowning which brought back painful memories from his childhood. At 10 years older than Ellie, he has seen and done things that he is not proud of and he doesn’t believe that he is good enough to be anywhere near her other than in a professional capacity. No one is more invested in her safety but the horrors that play out in his head night after night could be the very thing that inadvertently puts her in danger. When Ellie works up the nerve to ask him to show her the ropes sexually courtesy of a little liquid courage, Liam knows he should say no but he just can’t bring himself to pass up the chance to be with her even if it is just for a short time and he stands a real chance of getting his butt kicked by Sebastian and Callum if they find out.
Liam is all about the slow burn and anticipation much to Ellie’s frustration, but the promise of what waits for her is plenty of incentive. With Sebastian and Nina vacationing in Africa, they are afforded the opportunity to get to know each other away from the spotlight since no one knows Ellie is in Montana. It is easy to forget the real world for a while as they get to experience a somewhat normal relationship. Liam falls hard for the beautiful, sexy and intelligent woman despite the fact she is royalty, and Ellie feels the same but the real world intrudes all too soon. Now they have to decide if their worlds are just too different or if they can find a way to forge ahead together.
The first book in the series was amazing, but I loved this one even more! Ellie’s youth and inexperience shows through in some aspects of their life, but her upbringing makes her more mature than others her age in other ways. Liam’s past may still haunt him at times, but he is a wonderful and honorable man who will do anything for Ellie. I loved his straightforward conversations with Ellie’s brother and father, and although they have some rocky moments along the way, there is no doubt they are meant for each other. Now there is just one royal left unattached, and although Callum has clearly met his match in Montana, he made a really big mistake that hurt her feelings in a major way. I can’t wait to see what level of groveling is required for him to find his HEA, but in the meantime, I do believe a re-read of Enticing Liam will definitely be in order!
OMG what a FABULOUS book. This is the second book in Big Sky Royal Series. This is Princess Ellie and Liam’s story. Being a Royal isn’t easy but falling in love is harder but when you find the one the path is never easy. Ellie and Liam is a passionate and romantic story with plenty of misunderstandings and confusing emotions. It’s a book you won’t want to put down. From the first page to the last the story draws you in completely. I love everything Kristen Proby writes each book is exciting and a true page turner. 5 stars

There are so many things I need to say to you, Eleanor, but nothing is as important as telling you that I love you more than anything or anyone I’ve loved in my life. You’re the reason I breathe…
My Review:
This was pure escapism and a sweet and sexy fairy tale involving a modern-day princess and her security guard, which is a familiar fantasy and popular trope. Face it, we ALL want to be some version of Meghan Markle. But, maybe not as a twenty-five-year-old virgin. Uhm, no thank you. The story was a steamy and rich fantasy and even though it was as realistic as Fifty Shades, somehow it still managed to be a pleasantly entertaining diversion and a fast and easy to follow read.
There are some books about a royal family that I enjoy, and some that I don’t. I did enjoy Liam and Ellie’s story. I enjoyed being back in Cunningham Falls and catching up with characters whose books I have read. Good storyline. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
Kristen Proby’s newest addition to her Big Sky Royal series illustrates the non-glamourous side of royalty – one that forces princes and princesses alike to figure out how to traverse through their very public lives while also feeling the need to keep some things just for themselves, which, somehow, never quite works out that way in the end. What Enticing Liam also captures quite well is the pressure that’s placed on the younger members of the royal family, so much so, that it becomes difficult to differentiate between those individuals who are using them for access to what comes along with having a prestigious title as well as the masks the royals must wear in order to stay in the good graces of the media and the public while also not losing their true identity in the process.
Despite Princess Eleanor’s quick witted personality and sometimes rash decision making, she knows what she wants in a lover, even though she’s a virgin, and as a potential husband and it’s definitely not the title seeking pedigreed men who have attempted to court her in London. Which is why she hops on a plane and heads to Cunningham Falls, Montana – a place where she can be left alone and not have to worry about the pressures of finding a suitable partner or carrying on pretenses with individuals who only see her crown instead of the person she truly is.
I’m sure some readers will find Princess Eleanor/“Ellie” a bit too naive and self-centered, but that has more to do with her sheltered lifestyle and well-played public image she’s perfected. And as Liam gets to know who Ellie truly is, Princess Eleanor becomes a separate entity – one who Liam doesn’t quite understand or even like to be around, which is only one of the many obstacles for them to overcome as they go from teacher/student to something so much bigger than either of them could have anticipated.
Liam carries his past with him at all times, and because of all that he endured as well as how he feels about what he had to do when he was a solider, he only sees himself as undeserving, as too damaged to be anything significant, personally speaking, to anyone but especially to a princess. I feel like readers will understand Liam’s concerns with his newfound feelings for and connection to Ellie, but they’ll also see that who Liam is at his core is someone who is protective, caring, and worthy of so much more than he feels he deserves.
Even though the princess and the bodyguard story line is a fairly stereotypical one, Proby puts her own spin on it, creating a romance specifically for Liam and Ellie, and I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing their beginning and all the ways they helped one another to find their footing in each other’s world, beyond the expectations, the self recriminations, and the roles that must be played, and with the help of some amazing secondary characters, they find their way together, hopefully, forever.
4 Poison Apples
I absolutely loved Kristen’s Big Sky Series and having a Royal spin off set there with some of my old favourites was simply perfection. After being given sneaky glimpses at Princess Ellie and Liam I was honestly look forward to this one and Kristen did not disappoint me.
Liam and Ellie’s story made me swoon and my heart swell. The connection between them was electric and I really enjoyed watching them fall in love. With Ellie being in Montana under the radar, being able to be herself and let her guard down, these two have a chance to get to know each other and connect without the pressures and obstacles her being a royal entails.
This was a perfect low angst, sweet, romantic and swoon-worthy romance that you will be enamoured with from beginning to the end.
Royal Romance Alert! Put a virgin princess together with a sexy older (and broken) bodyguard…and see what happens when he agrees to be her sex coach! Enticing Liam by Kristen Proby is available now.
This is a royal romance about a virgin princess and the older, sexy and broken bodyguard who agrees to be her sex coach!
Loving Ellie and Liam! I definitely need to go back and read the first book in this series because I really enjoyed this installment. Ellie runs to Montana after breaking up with her sort-of boyfriend and wants someone real in her life that’s involved for her not her title. After the last time Ellie was in town, Liam was attracted to her but not willing to cross that line with her indirectly being his employer. But when the perfect opportunity presents itself for them to be together and Ellie to get some experience under her belt, they take it, and thus starts a great love story. This was a standard HEA storyline, although I was waiting for the foot to drop and something dramatic to happen, especially with the texts and packages that Ellie receives, but other than that it was a good read. I loved the chemistry and honesty that Ellie and Liam have together, and I love the foreshadowing of Callum’s book at the end! Can’t wait for him and Aspen’s story!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
These royals are my favorite!!! I seriously have a new obsession with Kristen Proby’s Big Sky Royal!
I loved Ellie and Liam! There was something sweet yet so connecting between the two of them.
Seriously can not get enough!
