It’s easy to stop believing in happily ever afters when the man you thought you’d spend the rest of your life with abandons you right before your wedding day. After that disastrous event I decided that commitment was for suckers. I was young, successful, and in the prime of my life.I didn’t need a man to make me happy. Then an unexpected blast from the past came waltzing into my studio and decided … studio and decided I was a challenge he was more than willing to accept. The only problem is that he doesn’t remember he’s met me before.
He’s the ultimate playboy, determined to stop at nothing until he entices the hell out of me. But if Caleb McMannus thinks he can lure me in with his sinful looks and silver tongue, then he’s… probably right.
Author Note: Enticing Daphne is a steamy romance with its own happily ever after.

Holy Cow!!! There is nothing worse than planning a wedding, coming home and find your mother…yes, your own mother in bed with your fiancé!!! OH SNAP!!!
That was all it took for Daphne to swear off men. Well not 100%…a girls got to have her fun yanno. But a serious relationship, uh…no thanks. Finding Mr. Right no longer exists…It’s finding Mr. Right Now.
Moving away from the toxic environment, here we are 7 years later.
Caleb has always been the ‘adult’ figure in his house. Always taking care of Mother after finding out that Father has once again cheated on her. Taking care of Father to ensure the name stays clean among the society folk. He’s seen what his parents’ marriage is like….and wants nothing to do with marriage.
When Caleb and Daphne get together though, its hot, its steamy, its full of fighting. But dang it…it works for them. Can these two possibly go from a casual fling to admit to each other they both want more?
While this is a pretty straight forward, pretty predictable book, with scenes reminding me of quite a few others that are out there, it was a quick and enjoyable book to read.

5 Opposites not only attract but combust Stars
Have you ever ran into a friend that you hadn’t seen in years and picked up as if you hadn’t missed a day? That is how I felt when I started reading Enticing Daphne. The moment it showed up on my kindle I felt myself smile and have a moment of giddiness come over me. These ladies make my heart happy. I knew I would get to laugh out loud and that life would cease to exist the moment I read the first chapter and I was right.
The ladies of Girl Talk are back. While this is Daphne’s story we get to see glimpses of Lola and Sophia. What I wouldn’t do to have these ladies be my friends in real life. They share a sisterdom (auto correct is telling me this isn’t a word but it really should be) that is to be envied. This story was artfully done with the timeline happening at the same time as the other stories but without giving those stories away by divulging to much. If you have read Seducing Lola and Tempting Sophia then when you read the little tidbits you knew what was happening. If you haven’t it was just enough to peak your attention (and if you haven’t– get on doing that because those books are AMAZING–and Yes, Dominic is still mine. I licked him.) and make you want to go discover this gem of a series. All the books can be read as a standalone but why would you?
Daphne. Caleb. Talk about about opposites attract. These two take it to a whole new level. They fight. The more they fight the more they make up and let me tell you they take making up to a WHOLE new realm. It is HOT. They are stubborn. Even though they are opposites, they have a commonality that ultimately ties them together. Through this self discovery and commonality they discover the importance of love and they eventually love as hard as they fight. They are the embodiment of passion.
I cannot recommend this book (and series enough). I cannot wait for the next book.
Oh, these ladies of Girl Talk… they are such a refreshing group of strong and independent women, and I LOVE them!!
Daphne is the last of the radio hosts of “Girl Talk” to get her happily ever after. While Grayson and Lola were first getting started, Grayson’s best friend, Caleb, met Daphne, and the chemistry was instant. But… they seem to fight as much as they get along.
Daphne and Caleb have great chemistry, but their banter is what I absolutely fell in love with! Their back-and-forth keeps each other on their toes, and I love the secrecy that they had!
I love this series, and now I need their new friend, Fiona, to find her guy now….
Enticing Daphne is part of a series. I think you need to read the other books as this one is going on simultaneously as the others. I liked the characters of Daphne and Chase. Their banter explodes into sexual tension. The storyline is easily followed and interesting. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
More like 4.5. I waited for Daphne’s story, and I was not disappointed. Well edited. A few hiccups, but not enough to ruin the flow of the story.
Daphne and Caleb’s story runs in parallel to Lola and Sophia’s. They meet prior to the timeline in Lola’s story – seeing each other again when Grayson confronts Lola after a show. The first meeting was an excellent one night stand, but at the second meeting, Caleb doesn’t immediately remember, which doesn’t go over well with Daphne. Sparks fly and Caleb is left trying to make up for his mistake. Both parties have been burned by life and are not willing to put themselves out for the possibility of love. Therefore, they agree to a no strings attached relationship. We all know how that is going to work out! Eventually, strings attach and feelings bloom and people run. But, when one of the strings is going to start needing full time attention in 9 months, what do you do with the feelings you didn’t want to face? And, when your respective parents are embroiled in a mess of massive proportions, how do you navigate the minefield? What about when part of the past just doesn’t want to let go? Caleb and Daphne have quite a lot to work through, but, at the end of the day, do they want to face a life without each other?
It was really great to see the couples from the previous books, as well as get a hint of where Deacon and Fiona’s story might go. This was quite a lot of light fun, as well as a bit of suspense trying to figure out how they would handle all the messy people in their lives. Enjoy and look forward to the next one!
Another great read in this series by Jessica Prince. Great chemistry in this story. Two anti-relationship people find what they never knew they wanted. Definitely hooks you from chapter 1 until the end. Can’t wait to dive into the next in this fantastic series.
Enticing Daphne is a sweet, SASSY, sexy romantic comedy that will satisfy every one of your cravings!
I cannot express how much I love this series. Daphne and Caleb are no exception. They both carry baggage from their parents relationships. Caleb is drawn to Daphne. Daphne is smart and sassy with a lot of courage. Daphne keeps Caleb’s demons away for him. Deep down they both want a healthy relationship. I loved how Caleb was so sweet and protective of Daphne when she was sick. This is a push pull romance. They do get their HEA once they both realize they want a committed relationship. I would totally recommend this book and series especially if you love romantic comedy. I cannot wait to read Deacon and Fiona’s story.
Very cute read!!
Daphne had her heart broken by her fiance. Now she just wants to enjoy her life with her two best friends by her side with a little fun on the side. But when a one night stand reappears in her life a couple months later, all bets are off. She now has to see that reminder of the best night of her life on a regular basis and it becomes increasingly difficult to remember why a repeat is a bad idea.
Caleb is the quintessential manwhore. He loves having no complications and no commitments. But as the book goes on, it is easy to see why Caleb has chosen this lifestyle. His parents loveless marriage has given Caleb every reason to never settle down. Daphne was an amazing one night stand and the chance for a repeat performance is too tempting to resist. But there will be no feelings involved whatsoever…or at least that’s how he wants it.
What happens when these two decide to make a one night stand into a however many night stands as long as feelings stay out of the mix?
This story was funny and romantic with a little bit of angst all rolled into one. It was very enjoyable from beginning to end. Daphne’s friendships are terrific and make the story that much more enjoyable. This is a standalone but the friends each have their own book. This is my first read by Jessica Prince but won’t be my last!
In this third book of the Girl Talk Series we find Daphne trying to escape her past by just enjoying life to the fullest and when one night changes everything for her she knows her life will never be the same. Caleb sees the hottest woman he has ever seen and when he can’t remember that she was the woman that got away. Even through that Caleb knows he has to chase her down and convince her to give him another chance. Will Caleb finally entice Daphne yet again? I loved this series and this book was just so perfect. The characters were strong but yet vulnerable. The story is one that brought me to tears. The wow moments that left me in awe. Definitely a must read book and series.
Enticing Daphne is a technically a Standalone but it comes on the heels of two previous books featuring Daphne’s friends. This Romantic Comedy was a funny and fast paced read, with secondary characters that are constantly meddling in each other’s business, in the most loving way, and it makes for some hilarious situations. As any good story goes there are a few moments of angst and conflict that adds to it. So if you’re in the mood for a sexy and fun romance, look no further, this story is delightful!
Poor Daphne King! She broke up with her fiancé, and her mother, on the same day. She kind of had to, after walking in on them in bed together, days before their wedding. Her relationship with her mother had always been a little strange, she’d always acted more like one of Daphne’s peers and less like a parent, so this was just the icing on the cake. Luckily for Daphne she had some amazing friends that loved and supported her. The tight group went on to be founding members of the All Guys Are Assholes club and until recently had firmly believed in it. Well, Daphne was still in the club, she was staying true to her belief that HEA didn’t exist, even if her friends were currently on the fence about it.
“True love didn’t exist.
Well, maybe it did, but not without consequences. And I’d been bitten by that particularly poisonous snake once already. I wasn’t about to let it strike again.
I gave up on finding Mr. Right and started concentration on finding Mr. Right Now.”
Case in point: Daphne has the best one-night stand of her life, with a handsome man she met in a bar, without exchanging names or phone numbers and had no regrets about it. Until she sees him, two and a half months later where she works, and finds out he’s now part of the new management that took over the company. And that his name is Caleb. Oh, and he doesn’t recognize her.
“What the hell just happened?”
“Seems to me you just got blown off by the insanely hot Daphne King. What’d you do, bang her and forget to call her the next day or something?”
“What? Of course not! I’d remember someone like h—“
“Holy shit, you totally forgot her didn’t you? You forgot having sex with Daphne King? Jeez, man, are you crazy? That woman’s like God’s gift to the universe.”
Caleb isn’t really the manwhore Daphne thinks he is, he just had his own traumatic experience with his own dysfunctional parents and their toxic relationship, and as a result had sworn off relationships and commitment. They just didn’t exist, as far as he was concerned. This is where the story takes off and we’re pulled along for the ride. So sit back and enjoy, it’s a fun one!
I’m such a huge fan of Jessica Prince Enticing Daphne was very enjoyable which wasn’t a surprise this can be read as a standalone but I do suggest that you get Seducing Lola and Tempting Sophia because the couples stories are mentioned in Enticing Daphne . I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Daphne and Calebs book and what a story it was they made such a great couple but they also frustrated me to no end and at times I wanted to shake them both . After Daphne and Caleb have one hell of an explosive night together that was meant to be from one night not realizing they couldn’t wipe the memory of the night even when they tried . I really liked Daphne she had such a horrible betrayal that has made her not trust so easily so it made sense how she would act at times even though it did frustrate me she’s funny , smart , beautiful , and kind . Loved Caleb even though he too angered me his fear of being his father was understandable because his dad is just ICK , Caleb could be sweet , cocky , dirty talker , and protects the ones he holds close to him . I can’t wait to read the next book in the series with the tease of an ending I just know it’s going to be one hell of a roller coaster ride .

I sat down with Enticing Daphne last night right after dinner. Needless to say, by 9pm I had laughed, cried, swooned and enjoyed every single moment of this book!
Caleb, the quintessential manwhore and Daphne, a woman who goes after what she wants are both looking for a night of fun, no strings attached. After a few months, they run into each other again and see how completely different they are. But are they really?
Both Caleb and Daphne come from extremely bad broken homes and that has jaded them both. But both of their storylines with their families left me wrecked. I was completely shocked by the turn of events…but I thoroughly enjoyed it as well!
I was highly impressed with the author during the course of this book. Enticing Daphne takes place at the same time as Seducing Lola and Tempting Sophia and the author’s timing is spot on. Every detail is absolutely perfect and the other two books flow together into this one like magic.
Enticing Daphne is a funny, sexy, whirlwind of a romance between two people who are just not ready for love…or so they think. I cannot wait for Deacon and Fiona’s story!
Jessica Prince is a “one-click” author for me. I will just blindly go into a book of hers with no expectations other than a satisfying read. “Enticing Daphne” was exactly that for me.
This book runs in the same time frame as “Seducing Lola” and “Tempting Sophia” and CAN be read as a stand-alone, but I think it’s best to read in order if possible as this series is about a group of supportive friends who host a call in advice radio show (side note: the radio show is similar to Dan Savage’s show and I would absolutely listen to it if it was real). They each play a valuable roll in each other’s lives and there is a thread from each story woven into Daphne’s.
Caleb and Daphne have mutual friends in common. Daphne is strong yet vulnerable, she knows what she will and will not accept in life and is willing to stand her ground. Caleb is a player who has done the whole “man-whore playboy thing” before… “(he’s) the fling, the fun one-night stand” guy and there were times I wanted to yell at him to be a better communicator, but he is a classic alpha/successful male with issues. They are smoking hot together and their story has humor and angst and lots and lots of… well you should read it to find out.
This story is light and romantic with fade to black sex scenes and told in a dual POV.
One of my favorite quotes: “You’re just as responsible for your own pleasure as he is…maybe even more so.”
I look forward to more on these fun friends in the future.
I was introduced to Jessica’s work when I read a book she co-authored with Meghan Quinn – Hustler. I fell in love with her writing style and started to devour all of her books.
Enticing Daphne is the perfect romantic comedy. This story of Daphne and Caleb is fantastic! First off the alternate POV’s was fabulous! I absolutely loved the feistiness of Daphne and the suave swagger of Caleb.
Both of their backstories was so sad but so relatable and you could understand why both Daphne and Caleb were the way they were. The dysfunction of the parents of both Daphne and Caleb is horrible and especially Daphne’s mother, what a horrid person.
OK, now to the fun stuff! The humor in this story is phenomenal, especially Daphne’s inner dialogue (“That was it. I was kissing her as soon as this whole disaster was over. Unless that offended her”) I love books that make me actually laugh out loud. I scare my family sometimes, but they love me so they get over it!
Caleb’s silver tongue was stellar! He definitely was an expert at enticing! His inner dialogue was just as hilarious! (Her zero years of medical training didn’t provide me with confidence….) And when he had his “Ah ha” moment! Perfect!
I am going to have to get the other books that are loosely related to this book to get a better handle on all the awesome secondary characters that you just get a glimpse of in this book!
This book is classic Jessica Prince and you can’t go wrong to read it! It’s great!
