Since the moment Kaelynn Dotson walked into my world, I haven’t been able to think, eat, or sleep. After having my heart broken by the only woman I’ve ever loved, Kaelynn has ignited something deep down inside me—a flame so hot that I cannot ignore, no matter how hard I try.I vowed to never open myself up to a woman again, but there’s something about Kaelynn that is drawing me to her. There’s just … her.
There’s just one problem.
She’s hiding something from me. Trust is something I need, but when it comes to Kaelynn, all the lines seem to be blurred. I know I should take this as a warning and walk away, but for some reason, it’s only enticing me more.

I’m living a lie.
I’m not the girl from a middle-class family in Utah like Nash thinks. I’m the heiress to a billion-dollar fortune, and that’s not what he’s looking for. He’s had that before, and it left him scarred.
If the truth comes out, I’ll lose the only man I’ve ever fallen in love with . . . I’m not sure I’m willing to give him up.

I could not wait to read Nash’s story. Oh my book lovin’ heart, it was amazing!
Entice Me is the second book in the Austin Singles series by author Kelly Elliott. These books in this series are stand alone but honest to goodness you want to read them all as with any of Mrs. Elliott’s book series. I say this each and every time I write a review, this author never fails to deliver the absolute best to her fans. I am a picky reader. I want my happily ever after but I also want a book that moves me. I want an author to tell me a story and through their writing I can see the images in my mind and author Kelly Elliott’s writing does just that. When you can close your eyes and actually envision a scene you’ve read or when a scene is written with such emotion FEEL what that character is experiencing……that my fellow book readers is the work of a true artist.
Entice Me gives of the story of Nash and Kaelynn. We met Nash in book one of this series (if you haven’t read Seduce Me….add that to your TBR list). Nash was in love, in a relationship he wanted to share with his friends but she didn’t. After an ultimate betrayal, he’s done. Not only did she break his heart but his pride. He will not allow himself to be made the fool of again. No spoiled rich girl will ever betray him like that again. Fast forward to his sisters birthday. A bump into a stranger, a funny t-shirt all lead to a moment that will forever change the direction of his broken heart.
Kaelynn Dotson has a heart of gold. Longs to help others and will use her family’s influence and money to do just that. Yes, you heard right..she has money and a lot of it. That alone is why she is guarded. People don’t want to get to know her, Kaylynn. All they see are dollar signs not the heart of her. Her dreams and hopes. How does she know who to trust? While attending a friends and business partners birthday she chances upon a handsome stranger. Color her shocked when she discovers that stranger…those dimples belong to her friends brother.
Nash and Kaelynn fight these feelings that keep pulling at them. It seems every time they take a step forward something happens and it’s another step back. They both know this pull isn’t something that will just go away. Nash knows Kaelynn is holding something back but what he just doesn’t know. After having his heart shattered secrets are something he just cannot live with. Once the heart finds that true match how do you walk away? Miscommunication and yes secrets eat at both of them. Once that secret is, well no longer a secret how will Nash respond? Will he understand or will he just see another rich girl? How do they move beyond, can they? One thing is for certain…the secret is out and he wants answers and he will follow her anywhere to get those.
Oh my goodness, to revisit the host of characters in this book was a true delight. The family feel you get in Mrs. Elliott’s books is like a warm hug. Yes, family because that is exactly the feelings portrayed by the friends in this series. You feel as if you know each character personally. Find yourself cheering, crying, laughing and yes wanting to smack a couple in the noggin’. It’s her writing that allows fans to feel apart of these books as they are reading. With Nash…you felt that utter betrayal with is ex. The heartache and reason for his distrust. Kaelynn you felt the love she had for others. How she longed to use her money to bring others joy. Her volunteering her services to start organization for the greater good. You also knew why she held back, why she too didn’t trust. To see these two characters maneuver their way to love was a joy to read. That path to love is never straight, never without falls, never without hurt……but once you face all those battles and see that beautiful light that is love, it’s so worth the battle scars to get there. Yes, I would definitely recommend this book. Beautiful story!
I’m going first to admit that this was the first book I’ve ever read by Kelly Elliott. (I’m going to fix by reading more books from this author now though.) There’s also the fact I didn’t read the first book in the Austin Singles series. Although, I have to say that this book reads well as a standalone. I was not lost at all, and I’m going to make time to read the first book because I’ve already added the third book to my TBR on Goodreads. I want to read Morgan’s book after reading Entice Me. Here’s the gist about the second book of Austin Singles, which introduces the readers to Nash Barrett and Kaelynn Dotson.
Nash has told himself he is not going to get into any relationship due to having his heart broken. His last girlfriend kept their relationship secret because he was not rich and was embarrassed by him and then she ended up cheating on him with a wealthier guy and then got pregnant. (Okay…his ex-girlfriend was a b***h because he runs his family business and then he had a degree in architecture and designed a house for his friends with his best friend’s help. Seriously, who cares about wealth. This man has creativity, love, heart, and soul. He’s a winner in my eyes.) I could understand why though he was not looking for a relationship until he meets Kaelynn Dotson at his sister’s party and now he can’t stop thinking about her. He is determined to learn more about her. At first, he wants to be her friend, but Kaelynn intends to be more. Unfortunately, Kaelynn has a secret, which she’s not sure if she can trust Nash with because of what happened between him and his ex-girlfriend. Kaelynn tells everyone she’s one person when she’s another because she’s tired of people looking at her for her money and not at her as a person. (I could understand why she was hesitant because the author does go into detail of some of her past experiences and some of her so-called past friends. The poor girl wanted to live normally. There were times though she had chances of speaking up though, things stopped her from speaking up.)Things are going to get steamy between Nash and Kaelynn in the book, where they can’t stay away from each other (It’s instant love between the two) and Nash’s friends and Kaelynn’s new friends (which are Nash’s friends) are noticing the attraction between the two. (The friends are pushing them together in the book.) Unfortunately, there has to be drama in the story.
The drama is a minor drama in my eyes, but to the characters, it is a bigger drama. I won’t spoil anything. I will say this there is a lot of makeup between the two and I loved getting to meet Kaelynn’s siblings in the story and also get to meet Nash’s friends and his sister. My favorite scene in the book was finding out what Nash had to do when he drew the short straw during the bachelor party for his friend’s Wedding. Oh…yes that scene at the Reception was funny!!! LOVED IT!!
I look forward to diving into more books by Kelly Elliott and also diving into the third book in the Austin Singles series too.
Story Rating: 4 stars
Steaminess Rating: 3.5 stars
Standalone or part of series: Part of series, but can be read as a standalone.
Do I recommend this book? Yes.
Will I read other books from the author? Yes.
Hero: Construction Worker (Trying to Run the Family Business without his father micro-managing him) He has a degree in Architecture too to be able to design.
Heroine: Multi-Billionaire Heiress.
Make sure you read the first book in this series before diving into this one!
I absolutely loved this book! Kaelynn and Nash found a special place in my heart! Kelly Elliott has a way of creating characters that you want to embrace like they’re real people. You feel all of the emotions they’re feeling, and that is impressive for an author to do (at least to me!)
Both Nash and Kaelynn have their issues to deal with, and there are some secrets that come to light, as well as the trust issues Nash is dealing with, but the chemistry between them is intense. This is a sweet, sexy, emotional story and I highly recommend both books in this series!
I ADORE Kelly’s writing style and this book held me captivated! I really enjoyed diving back into this series and while this book CAN be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading Seduce Me first because it tells Charlie and Tucker’s story. That being said, I was excited for Nash’s and Kaelynn’s story. Nash has been hurt in the past and isn’t looking for a relationship. However, Kaelynn is the first woman who has made him pause since his heart was broken. The chemistry between this couple was palpable and I wanted them to give in to the things they were feeling. I enjoyed the dynamics of the friends and family around them as well as seeing their relationship evolve. I was quickly lost in their story, and THE FEELS! This book just made me happy! I can’t recommend this book enough! Go forth and buy your copy today 🙂
I’m really loving Austin Singles series. Nash so far is my favorite. When he first sees Kaelynn you can feel all the chemistry or the fireworks between the two. This is a great read. Fast paced. You’re not going to want to put it down. Having to move on from the past, Nash finally see he can move on with Kaelynn. What a great read and a light-hearted story.
I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of chance encounters and the role fate plays in making them happen. And while I’m not completely sure about fate and free will’s relationship or if they co-exist amicably, what I do feel strongly about is that timing is everything and that being in the right place at the right time allows people to heal, to succeed, and to move forward in their lives to the best of their ability.
Nash Barett and Kaelynn Dotson unexpectedly met each other, and from their first exchange, it was clear there was mutual attraction and perhaps even a spark between them. But these two come from different worlds and since Lily, Nash has sworn off women, which means that as much as Nash is intrigued by and interested in Kaelynn, the repercussions of those feelings might be too much of a risk to take.
I can’t say that I blame Nash for safe-guarding his heart after his ex cheated on him and his trust and faith in women was broken. It has to take a lot for those ill-feelings and unhappy memories to not dictate how to proceed in life. But there’s something about Kaelynn that calls to him…that makes him want to take a chance, the problem is, Kaelynn’s lack of honesty about who she is and where she comes from might make their connection impossible to keep.
On some levels, I understand why Kaelynn hid her real identity. She has
anonymity in Texas unlike in Utah – she can be herself and be accepted for who she is as a person not due to her last name or the status that goes with it. It has to be awful wondering if people like you and/or want to be around you because of your bank account and what you can do for them or if they truly want to be your friend. But because of what Nash had already endured, I would have thought that Kaelynn would understand the need to be completely honest, even if her reasons seem logical.
A relationship issue that frustrates the heck out of me is a couple’s lack of communication, and this flaw threatens to destroy what Nash and Kaelynn are building and that’s on top of the secret Kaelynn is keeping about her family background. Either one of these issues can upend a relationship, so the fact that they have to contend with both of them definitely makes it seem like there are just too many obstacles standing in their way.
I spent a lot of the story wondering when the truth would be revealed and how Nash would find out, at some parts, I was actually begging for Kaelynn to expose the secret because I knew the longer she took, the more difficult it would be for these two to get back what was more than likely going to break them.
It’s more than clear as the story progresses just how good these two are together, and while it does take them a bit of time to figure things out, once they do, the steamy and heartfelt scenes more than illustrate what they’ve come to mean to each other.
One aspect of Kelly Elliott’s stories that I always love is the roles that the main characters’ family and friends play in the lives of the hero and heroine. Kelly Elliott surrounds her main characters with supportive and comforting people, but also ones who are more than happy to call them on their crap and help them see the truth when it’s unclear to them.
Entice Me is another great read in Elliott’s Austin Singles series; it has a great balance of steamy scenes, dramatic encounters, and heart warming conversations. Nash and Kaelynn have a number of layers to their personalities and I like how the author unravels that information as their story continues and does so in a way that allows readers to truly understand who the characters are and how they feel about everything that plays out in their book.
4.5 Poison Apples
Entice Me is an amazing love story that kept me turning each page anxiously waiting for the next! I never wanted the love story of Nash and Kaelynn to end. There was something about this story that kept pulling at my heart and I think it had something to do with Nash. Oh Nash Barrett! Nash is one of the best male characters I have read in a while! Of course, he has his moments but, what man doesn’t?! I loved how strong Kaelynn is written and the dynamics of her character. Kelly Elliott has done it once again!
Nash and Kaelynn’s story was a super sweet read!
Nash thought he had been in love before, but he was burned by none other than his best friend’s sister. He decided to keep his heart of equation. However, when he literally bumps into Kaelynn, memories of the past instantly fade away. Their chemistry is explosive.
Kaelynn falls fast for Nash and eventually learns of his past. She fears that once Nash finds out the truth about her, he will no longer see for who she really is.
Nash knows Kaelynn is hiding something from him. When secrets come to light, will Nash and Kaelynn run from each other or find their HEA?
If you like to laugh and swoon, read some very sexy scenes and see a little drama, this book is for you. GREAT READ!!!
Highly anticipated story of Nash post breakup/devastation from Lily and I’m here for it! I absolutely loved the first book and this one was no exception! Loving this series! A chance meeting between Nash and Kaelynn where they end up knowing of each other but had never met, and the sparks intensely fly between them but knowing what Nash had been through makes them hesitate. As they continue to fight their feelings, it gets harder and they end up giving a relationship a shot. With Kaelynn hiding a big secret that could make or break the relationship. After a lot of assumptions and misunderstandings, Kaelynn’s secret comes out and the reaction she anticipates from Nash is far from what his actually is, which really shows his character and the type of man he is. The story had great flow, much like the rest of Kelly’s books, and I loved that she yet again gave a new story but provided insight into the characters of the previous book and continue their story as well! I can’t wait for the next installment in this series – rooting for Morgan and Blake over here!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Y’all this is one of the best books I think I have ever read! The love in this book is so real and amazing! Kelly did an amazing job with Kaelynn and Nash! I can’t wait to see what she writes about next!
If you want a book that has love and romance but still has some angst take the time to read this book! Make Kelly a go to author! I promise you won’t regret it!
Ever since finishing Seduce Me, I have been excited to get my hands on the next book in the Austin Singles Series and I’m hear to tell you that Entice Me does not disappoint.
Entice Me follows the story of Nash and Kaelynn. From the moment Nash lays eyes on Kaelynn, he can’t help but be intrigued by her. Even though he’s sworn off women, he can’t help but want to know more about Kaelynn. As much as he’s drawn to her, Nash can’t help but feel like Kaelynn is keeping something from him. Nash desperately wants to give Kaelynn the benefit of the doubt, but when you’ve been burned before, how do you ever trust again…..When Kaelynn moved to Texas, romance was the last thing on her mind. But, when it comes to Nash, there is just something about him that can’t be ignored. He’s a breath of fresh air that Kaelynn just isn’t used to. However, there’s something about Kaelynn that no one knows. Nash & Kaelynn come from two different worlds. Will Nash be able to accept the truth that Kaelynn is hiding? Or will the truth cost Kaelynn the only thing she’s ever wanted? There’s only one way to find out….
Entice Me was a captivating read from beginning to end. Nash & Kaelynn were such a joy to watch. They both had some obstacles to overcome in their journey to find their happily ever after. At times, they frustrated me and man, do I wish they would have communicated better. But, it’s those will they/won’t they moments that kept me on my toes and left me begging for more. Nash & Kaelynn had explosive chemistry and I really enjoyed watching them learn and grow and put their hearts on the line.
Once again, Kelly Elliott has written a story that not only kept me glued to the pages, but put my emotions through the wringer. Entice Me hit all the marks with it’s sexy good times, wonderful characters and an oh so delicious romance. Entice Me is a terrific addition to the Austin Singles Series and I look forward to seeing where this series will go next!
I want a Nash Barett in my life!!!!
I was so happy to be reunited with this group of friends!!! I always feel like I am out with my peeps! They are just so funny.
I couldn’t wait for Nash’s story! My heart broke for him in book one, he totally didn’t deserve what happened to him. He is such a great guy! He is loyal to a fault, he loves the people in his life completely! I mean who wouldn’t want to spend the rest of their lives with Nash lol?!
Kaelynn was such a sweet soul, I loved her. She was absolutely perfect for Nash. They were perfect for each other, it just takes them a while to get their acts together. Once they do though, holy hotness!
This was a great addition to this series and I cannot wait to see what happens next with this awesome group of characters.
Entice Me was delightful! Kelly Elliott put me right in the center of a lovely group of close knit friends and family that I never wanted to leave.
This is the first book I’ve read by Kelly Elliott, yet I felt as if I’d known everyone for years by the time I was done reading Entice Me. Yes, the story is centered around two main characters, but their lives are interwoven around their friends and family, which may have their own books, but since I’ve just discovered Kelly Elliott, I will be diving back into her list of written works to find out.
Nash is a man scorned by love. His longtime girlfriend cheated on him, got pregnant, and then left him because he didn’t make enough money. Yeah, that is a lot to bring a man down on dating. Even months later he still felt kicked in the gut whenever he saw her, even though he knew deep down she wasn’t the right woman for him.
When he meets Kaelynn something inside Nash shifts, she’s the first woman since he’s been single that actually makes him smile. The first woman to make him feel, really..anything. That in itself is probably what scares him the most. He isn’t ready to get his heart broken again, especially when Kaelynn seemed to be hiding something.
Kaelynn has a secret, one that could destroy the relationships she’s just beginning to build. Morgan is Nash’s sister and the reason she’s just moved to Austin, starting up a new job with Morgan. Kaelynn doesn’t like to talk about her family, not that they are bad, but because they are wealthy. Extremely wealthy. In her history, people tended to treat her different once they find out she comes from money. So, Kaelynn doesn’t exactly feel that she is lying, as much as omitting that she is wealthy.
Once Kaelynn learns about Nash and his ex, the amount in her bank account becomes an elephant in the room. The longer she waits, the more the issue weighs on her, but she’s also afraid to lose the connection she’s building with Nash and his friends. What choice makes the most sense when she knows she has to eventually make one, come clean and lose the man she’s beginning to care about, or live a lie?
Nash and Kaelynn have amazing chemistry from the beginning. Nash may have his hangups about dating, but he also wants what his friends have; family and a forever love. He is super swoon-worthy, a delicious book boyfriend. Kaelynn constantly comments that his ex was an idiot for giving him up, yet she’s very happy she did. The two of them are very cute.
The world Kelly Elliott has built is sweet and inviting and I can’t wait to revisit them
We are really enjoying this author’s stories and this current story was really cute fun and thoroughly enjoyable.
The character’s Nash and Kaelynn have a lot in common even if they don’t even realize it but, its their fears and past hurts and distrust getting in their way ruining their futures relationships.
I found Kaelynn to be a sweetheart also sexy, kind, smart, driven, beautiful and a really smart confident business women but, her love life is a mess as she is ruled by all her failed past relationships.
Nash we just loved him as well and found him to be smart, sexy as sin,had a sense of humor, loving and had a good head on his shoulders when it comes to business and working hard at making his dreams come true but, he is definitely broken when it comes emotionally.
We really enjoyed being on this lovers journey to find the healing and happiness that this couple desperately needed but ,this couple made a ton of bad choices getting their. For Nash it was love at first sight and I think it was the same for Kaelynn they just clicked but, this couple continues fighting their chemistry and attraction because of past betrayals when they should be grasping happiness.
We really loved Kaelynn and Nash as a couple they were so cute together had a ton in common considering their backgrounds that was saying a lot .We loved their chemistry and their playfulness when they were together. We loved the closeness of family and friends this couple had.
Overall we really enjoyed the story as it was a ton of fun and was a bit funny and had a engaging story with a tons of great character’s and we loved them all.
I absolutely love everything that Kelly Elliott writes. Entice Me is the second book in her Ausitn Singles series. This book had me hooked from the very beginning and didn’t let go until the very end. Entice Me is a standalone novel but I recommend reading Seduce Me first as the characters appear throughout the series.
Nash thought he had found the love of his life in his best friend’s sister Lily but she left him for someone with more money and ended up pregnant. He has sworn off women with money because he thinks that he will never be enough for them. At a party for his sister Morgan, he runs into the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. He is shocked when he finds out it is his sister’s BBF Kaelynn. They start to spend time together and very quickly Nash feels that Kaelynn is keeping a secret from him and really wants to know what it is. Will her secret bring them closer together or tear them apart before they give a relationship a try?
Kaelynn moved from Ohio to Texas to help out her good friend Morgan. She is happy about the move because people don’t know who she really is and what type of family she comes from. Shortly after moving she goes to a party for her good friend Morgan and runs into the most handsome man she has ever seen. She is shocked to find out it’s her friend Morgan’s older brother. They start spending time together and when she finds out what his ex did to him and that he has sworn off dating women with money she gets a little scared about taking their relationship any further. Will she be able to convince him that not all women are like his ex?
I loved the connection between Nash and Kaelynn. This story proves that communication and honesty are very important in a relationship. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. It was fun catching up with Tucker, Charlie and the rest of the gang! I can’t wait for Morgan and Blake’s story!
Entice Me is the second book in the Austin Singles series and while it can be read as a standalone, Tucker and Charlie from Seduce Me, book 1, make plenty of appearances here so why miss out on the fun??
Nash has been burned in the past by his ex, Lily, who is also Tucker’s (his best friend) sister. Lily cheated on him with a man who had more money than him, and ended up pregnant and then married to the guy. Since then, Nash has sworn off all women. A chance encounter with Kaelynn has Nash questioning that decision though.
Kaelynn Dotson is Morgan’s (Nash’s sister) best friend. She’s just moved from Utah to help Morgan pro-bono with her new business endeavor. Coming from Utah to Texas where nobody knows her also means she can use an alias to hide the fact she’s an heiress to a billion dollar empire….exactly what Nash doesn’t want.
The chemistry between Kaelynn and Nash was palpable upon their first encounter. It’s that big secret and poor communication that just might do them in. True love isn’t easy but it’s always worth it. Will Kaelynn and Nash be able to see beyond their pasts and the secrets and come out on top?
Entice Me is a fabulous read with with the perfect amount of drama and conflict, love and laughter, and laugh out loud banter. The side characters really make the story too.
Once again Mrs. Elliott has proven why she is my absolute favorite author! Her writing always captures me from the start, and she never fails to have me falling completely in love and swooning into a puddle of glue.
I fell in love with this series with the first book and have been waiting to get my hands on this one. The wait was worth it! I was not disappointed.
Nash and Kaelynn’s story has captured my heart and I couldn’t get enough of the back and forth between these two. I loved every second of this one! Make sure you have snacks ready as you won’t be able to put this one down and will undoubtedly have to read it one sitting.
While Entice Me can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend that you pick up Seduce Me, the first in this series, as it is amazing as well.
Book 2 in the Austin Singles series but can be read as a standalone. We start off with tension still heavy in the air, Nash not completely over the heartbreak of Lily cheating on him and getting pregnant. Swearing off women and to never open his heart again.
Nash Barrett is an all round good guy. Loving and loyal to family and friends, willing to do anything they need in help. He works extremely hard for the family business and is trying to get his father to step back and pass over the reins. When he bumps into Kaelynn and she sets off a new spark within. But she is his sister’s best friend and the more time he spends with her…. he thinks she is holding something back. He can’t take anymore secrets.
Kaelynn is one of the heiresses to a multi-million dollar fortune. But she just wants to be known for her and not her money. Moving to Austin was a chance for her to do just that, meet some people who don’t know her for the family name. When she meets Nash she is drawn in immediately. When she finds out he is Morgan’s brother she tries to step back, knowing his history. But Morgan and their friends are determined to see them together as they see the looks they give each other.
The more time they spend together the more Kaelynn, worries about her secret. She tries to tell Nash but the time just never seems right. Will her secret keep them apart? Will Nash be able to let the past go and live in the now with the woman who relit his spark?
As always Kelly gives us a sweet romance with prince charming. Just a few hurdles to jump in the process. And who doesn’t love a little stranded in the storm fun.

4.5 Stars
Entice Me is the second title in the Austin Singles series. I adored every minute of Kaelynn and Nash’s sweet, sexy story and read it from cover to end in one sitting.
Although this title can be read as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading Seduce Me first, as the characters lives are interwoven in both titles and if you read it after Entice Me there will be some spoilers.
Nash is once bitten, twice shy when it comes to love. He’s incredibly loyal, kind, sexy and a great friend. A steady guy who will do anything for those he cares for most, he’s very hesitant to give his trust to any woman.
Kaelynn is sweet, kind, compassionate and unpretentious, but she has secrets.
I love a romance with strong themes of family and friendship, which is exactly what you get with Entice Me.
The banter is witty, fun and flirtatious and there are moments of humor that will have you giggling. Drama, miscommunications and misconceptions abound throughout this title, and whilst it can be a tad frustrating, I was enthralled by the undeniable chemistry this pair share.
Overall a really sweet read with equal parts heat, heart and humor which has left me eager for the next addition to the series.
Just when I think Kelly Elliott can’t make me love her writing more she goes and releases Entice Me. This book blew everything out of the water. Nash even knocked my precious Gunner, who’s been my number one for YEARS, down a peg. I never thought this day would come and frankly I’m not sure what to do with myself now. Actually yes I am and what myself is going to do is go back and read this all over again so I can get another fix of my newest addiction.
Nash and Kaelynn have that rare knock you on your butt, world tilting, life changing kind of love that hits you the second they meet. Neither of them saw the other one coming but that kind of once in a lifetime pull hit them right from the start and that magnetism grows stronger and stronger through every page of their story. The sweetness abounds even when they both try to deny what’s right in from of them because past hurts and secrets they both have. But in true Kelly Elliott fashion there’s no fighting this kind of magnificent love and these two will have you just as swept up in their story and they are in each other.
