Story line sounded like a good read, maybe it is, but I couldn’t get past the old English dialogue in the first few chapters. Not the easy, light read I was hoping for.
A lord who is a privateer and a fleeing lady from a failed romance become acquainted when the privateer kidnaps her from her brothers home. This kidnapping is a payback of sorts to the brother after a trick he had done to our privateer. Of course a romance soon blossoms followed by distrust, then anger and then….you have to read to discover …

This book was really well written and enjoyable. I loved the main character as she felt real to me. I enjoyed the storyline a lot and was really glad she was able to just recognize her feelings and be who she is. I also really enjoyed getting to know the other characters in the book. Real page turner, couldn’t wait to get back to it the next day.
Stopped reading because I was finding it lacks character development. If you want to read her thoughts then his thoughts with little or no action that is extremely boring read.
