A Wall Street Journal bestseller. There’s nothing richer than a second chance in the steamy second book of New York Times bestselling author J.S. Scott’s Accidental Billionaires series.Aiden Sinclair was a commercial fisherman before he suddenly came into his billionaire inheritance—not that he’s complaining. Being a Sinclair does have its perks. But things were simpler before the money. He may … things were simpler before the money. He may have been dirt poor, but he loved his job and fully intended to always come back from the sea to his girlfriend, Skye Weston, so they could move toward something more permanent. Or at least that had been the plan…until he returned from a two-month fishing trip to discover she had moved away and was marrying somebody else. It tore his world apart.
Now Skye’s back in town after nearly a decade. She’s a single mother and just as beautiful as ever. However, for some odd reason, she appears to hate him, when it should be Aiden who wants nothing to do with the woman who dumped him. Unfortunately, more than nine years of separation have done nothing to put a damper on their white-hot chemistry. But even if those feelings are real, Skye has been keeping secrets. The truth of the past is about to come to light, and there is so much more at stake than just Aiden’s heart.

Entangled is a second chance romance with a twist. It starts with a GIANT misunderstanding that led to years of heartbreak. It didn’t take long once Aiden and Skye talked to get right back to the intense feelings they had way back then. But Skye has some issues to work through, and Aiden is kinda stubborn and pushy. The whole family is open and caring and involved in one another’s lives, which is cool. It’s book two in a series, but read fine as a stand alone to me, I wasn’t lost.
I enjoyed reading about second chances. This book starts off 9 years in the past where you learn some about Aiden and Skye then it goes to the present and you learn more about them . I love the story line and it kept me reading till I finished it! I recommend this book!!!!!
3.5 Stars
I am beyond elated and excited that J.S. Scott is continuing onward with the Sinclair’s… I loved the east coast Sinclair families, now I am liking the west coast bunch as well. Keep them coming.
I love a good second chance romance as much as the next, but this one didn’t bring enough oomph to the table, if you get my drift. I felt that something was lacking in a sense. Aiden was beyond swoon-worthy to get his childhood crush/lover, Skye Weston, back into his grasp, but he had to fight the shadowed ghosts that came along with her. Skye was a heroine that I felt you could relate to, coming from her predicaments, but the rebuilding of their chemistry was a bit off. His demands vs her falling backwards to his every whim… I felt like there was no push/pull magnitude.
Anywhoo… I will always keep reading J.S. Scott’s work as her writing is always impeccable, always downright engrossing. Entangled just fell a little short, that’s all, and that’s okay.
Entangled is the second book in The Accidental Billionaire series. I didn’t read the first one, but I don’t feel you have to read the first book to enjoy the second book. My curiosity was piqued, while reading Entangled, to find out the details of Jade and Eli’s story, so I plan to go back and read the first book in this series. I always enjoy second chance love stories, and this one was excellent. Entangled is told in the dual point of view style, going between the two main characters Aiden Sinclair and Skye Weston. This book was well written, and I did like Ms. Scott’s writing style. Also, she develops her characters in such detail, I felt like I knew them and they are people whom I would want to befriend.
Skye and Aiden started their love affair when Skye was only eighteen and Aiden was twenty-six. Both Skye and Aiden grew up poor. Aiden and his older brothers have been supporting their younger siblings since their mother died and their father abandoned them. Skye grew up with a crazy religious mom that let a cult dictate how she lived her life.
Skye and Aiden’s relationship was very intense from the beginning, and their attraction was off the charts. An unforeseen complication forces Skye to leave town, and the two are separated for almost ten years. She comes back to Citrus Beach a changed woman, not the innocent girl she once was. The things she had to live through were unbelievably horrific. Although she has lived in fear for the past ten years, this fear has made her stronger but also closed off emotionally. Her mother has died and left Skye the cafe where she worked all her life, so she comes back to Citrus Beach to try to make the cafe a success. Aiden is also not the poor fisherman that Skye left all those years ago, he is now a billionaire, a very gorgeous, alpha billionaire, who is still broken-hearted and pissed off that Skye dumped him for a wealthy mobster.
Reading Skye and Aiden’s story was a joy. These two have never stopped loving each other, but will Skye’s past and her secrets prevent them from realizing that they still love each other and that they belong together. Sorry, that’s all I willing to reveal. Entangled is a beautiful story of second chance love and I wholeheartedly recommend reading this book.

4 1/2 stars! I love this series and the Sinclair family. J.S. has given us a whole new bunch of Sinclairs to fall in love with! I really enjoyed this second chance romance so much! It is such a wonderful story. Aiden & Skye had some serious communication issues that unfortunately kept them from being together or even speaking for that matter for so many years. So much happened to cause the perfect storm that crushed their young love and led to years of being apart. Skye recently got out of a scary situation that very well could have broken her, but she rose up and fought until she could make a better life for herself. Aiden came into an inheritance that basically took him from rags to riches but there was always something missing. And that was Skye. It’s a beautiful thing when hearts that have always been entangled, find their way back to each other and claim the HEA they so rightfully deserve.
It took a little for me to get into this story but it was well worth the time. These characters are very real to life and suffer the emotional ups and downs that young romance brings. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy and a boyfriend who took off, Skye was faced with a decision that had long term consequences. Marrying someone who would care for them both seemed like the best choice. Ten years later, she’s done with that marriage, returning to her home town knowing that she’ll have to face that man at some point.
Aidan became a billionaire quite unexpectedly but it doesn’t make his life perfect. He doesn’t bow to anyone and least of all the woman who ran off on him. He’s not willing to forgive her anything until he finds out some news that changes things.
Second chances don’t always work out nor do they happen easily. But once they happen, it can be so good.
