A Minneapolis attorney inherits a small California winery, reawakening memories that have lain dormant for twenty years. One summer of her childhood is a mystery she intends to solve. But digging up her past also lays bare the skeletons of others, including her mother’s. Entangled between what she once believed and a new reality, will she be able to live with the consequences of full disclosure?
Made me really think about how we hold onto wrong ideas in life about people and should be more open to others and to not judge so much.
Some parts are predictable (or so you think). A very entertaining read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and the characters who lived in it.
Billie Fredrickson inherits Fredrickson Winery from her Uncle Jack and it was a big surprise. When she moves there, many kinds of weird and crazy things happen. It’s a so involved story, it’s hard to figure out what’s going on. You can’t put it down till you finish!!!!!!!
So, it’s in the winery series because that’s the setting, which really has no other connection to the plot. Unsympatheric main character with issues from the past. Clues are revealed to past horrific events. Unrealistic situations. A lot of red herrings confused me. Clues to the guilty person should have been more deliberate. The story stops …
Book was good until end. Maybe author did this for a sequel? Kind of just hurried up and ended.
Billie Frederickson goes to California for her Uncle Jack’s funeral only because she’d been told she’d inherited his winery. She left her law practice and left for what she thought would be just a few days. But in California, her nightmares returned; she was now twenry-eight, had only visited California once when she was eight years old, and had …
Really good story.
Really enjoyed this book. Some of the descriptions by the author captured my attention because they were beautiful. Characters well-rounded, storyline made sense.
Enjoyed it and made me want to read the next one. I didn’t want to put it down because I wanted to find out what would happen next.
Great suspense, wonderful story line. I can’t wait to read the follow up books!
The storyline was quite creative. It was a whodunit without telegraphing who the culprit is. An excellent summer read.
Loved the characters and the story.
A good summer beach read. A quick read with easy to like characters and interesting plot.
An interesting easy read with unexpected twists. Good character development.
I liked this book so much I bought the other two books in the series. Enjoyed them!!!
“Entangled” is the second book I’ve read by this author. This book is different. However, I still liked it. At times, though, it did seem to move at a slow pace. The dynamics between the mother and the protagonist were sometimes unsettling. I have started reading the second book in this series and so far it is good.
First book of a trilogy ! Reading about winery’s and families hardship
Much more than a simple love story.
It was fun to read a story set in the wine country.
