Magic, Murder, & Romance – A Resurrection Spell Gone Wrong
Two months after dying, seventeen-year-old witch Graylee Perez wakes up in her twin sister Charlene’s body. Until Gray finds a way back inside her own body, she’s stuck being Charlene every twenty-hour hours. Her sister has left precise instructions on how Gray should dress and behave. Looking like a prep isn’t half as bad as hanging … isn’t half as bad as hanging out with Charlene’s snotty friends and gropey boyfriend.
The “normals” of McKinley High might be quick to write her behavior off as post-traumatic stress, but warlock Raj McKenna is the only person who suspects Gray has returned from the dead.
Now Gray has to solve the mystery of her death while working out a way to disentangle herself from Charlene’s body before she disappears for good.

This is a page turner for sure. If you’re into young adult fiction with a heavy smattering of the supernatural then this book is for you.

One thing about this book, none of the characters are “perfect”. Each of them has a back story, goals and motivations, and flaws. It’s interesting that the author can write even the most “evil” character comes off with some sympathy. Good characters do bad things for good reasons. Bad characters do good things for good reasons. I enjoyed the fact …
There were a few small world building issues.
Enjoyable. I did catch a few references to one of my favorite witch movies.
This is a book with a very descriptive plot. Things are detailed extremely well. If you like very detailed gut hurting vivid writing, this is your books! Witchcraft is the cause of all this mayhem. You do root for the underdog and just want her to be happy. For me it was just too much to take in and absorb then find a spot in myself to leave …
A fast, easy read about witches in high school that I zipped through in a day. Good pace, nice twists in the plot with a spell or two gone awry. A tad too many hormones and insinuations and things like blouse buttons bursting off to reveal lacy bras for my tastes, but for those who don’t mind, it’s a compelling and light read. (Just don’t take it …
Loved this book too.
