“They may own me, but they’ll never control me.”QUINN I tried running, but he followed me. I hid, but he found me. I couldn’t escape, so I defended myself. Now he’s in a coma, and I’m in prison. Except, the Walker Center isn’t a normal jail. In here, inmates work. Twelve hours a day, every day. If we misbehave, vicious guards punish us. They strip away our dignity, turn us against each other and … dignity, turn us against each other and rob us of our sanity. No one leaves, except as property.
My only hope may be Reed Nolan, an unapologetic sadist on a mission to break my spirit. He torments me every day, delighting in my pain. Defying him awakens intoxicating, dark desires. My perverse need to be dominated becomes my secret weapon, with every stroke of his whip powering my will to survive, to fight the evil of this place.
My captors are going to pay for what they’ve done. I want to open Reed’s eyes, to turn him against the monster he serves, but if I can’t, I won’t let anyone stand in my way…
“The truth may set you free, but it’ll still hurt.”
REED
For most of my life, I’ve called Lance Prescott a friend. His father, a popular congressman, got me my job at the Walker Center. If not for him, I’d have nothing. So when I learn Lance will never wake again, I vow to make Quinn Harris suffer.
I don’t expect her to resist her captivity, to overcome the despair and hopelessness of her new reality. And when she tells me what really happened to Lance that night, my whole world begins to unravel. Falling for Quinn means questioning everything I thought I knew about the Prescotts, the prison and all their crimes. To win her love, I’ll have to face the hardest truth of all: that I’ve been a villain, not a hero.
Helping Quinn means challenging a massive criminal conspiracy. They’re not afraid to make people disappear – they’ll bury anyone who threatens their empire. Fighting them could cost me everything, but I’ve been complicit in their evil for too long. I’ll do anything to bring them down – even if it means gambling with our lives…
Publisher’s note: “Enslaved” is a dark, romantic thriller with explicit sexual content, no cliffhangers, no cheating and a HEA. It contains material some may find disturbing. Reader discretion is advised.

Wow just wow what a book
I’ve read some dark book’s but this book and all the twists and turns had me flipping pages faster that I could read at one point lol. Damn what a book. I’d have to say this is quiet a surprise from Sansa and one I’m glad I was given a chance to read. This book has triggers all over the place, but if you like book’s that are gritty, raw and unbelievably dark and twists thrown in then you need to pick up this amazing book. It’s a book that’s not for everyone so be warned.
This is just my opinion and my voluntary review
Enslaved
Sansa Rayne’s writing style is completely engaging. They’re are so many twists and turns and unexpected feelings that come from reading her books… Anger, frustration, powerlessness, joy, burning hate, confusion, hope, shock… Just to name a few!
Quinn is so bad A, even in the face of uncertainty and danger. I love the agency and hope there is a real life version, but I also wish there didn’t need to be.
This is a dark, intense, complex, erotic, thrilling story, full of corruption and intimidation and pain. Quinn never meant to hurt the Congressman’s son. She merely protected herself to prevent a rape. It was a defensive action that caused him to end up in a coma.
Forced by the Congressman to enter The Walker Work Center instead of enduing a trial and possibly a prison sentence, Quinn enters a life-style she never dreamed was possible or even endurable. As it turns out, this is not only a work center. It is a cruel and efficient punishment facility. Specific women are used and abused and forced to work for no pay at all. They are trained and compelled to endure extreme pain in order to be ready to be sold to rich men. Quinn is a strong, secure woman who refuses to give in to the intimidation or the horrendous retribution applied by the guards for any reason whatsoever.
This is the first book by Sansa Rayne that I have read. Once I began, it was impossible to stop. It was exciting and frightening and totally engrossing. I loved the anger of the women and the caring that evolved because of Quinn. If you enjoy dark reads, this book is a definite YES!
Another fabulous book in The Agency series! I loved Quinn and Reed! Sansa Rayne definately writes an awesome dark story. From the torment and torture, to including BDSM, to the love story that evolves, she writes it perfectly! This series just keeps getting better!
Wow. This book is very dark and full of action, corruption, sex and twists. I will not tell you much about it because I want you to read this and get the full feeling of all the ups and downs. You will think there is no way this will an HEA, but it is. Enjoy
This is a dark and haunting and at times heartbreaking in it’s storyline of Quinn Harris and be default Reed Nolan.
Quinn was at the end of college about to embrace a future with her friend lydia by her side when one fateful night turned her life as she knew it into a a living nightmare.
Reed had always believed that he and a friend in Lance Prescott a senator’s son. What unfolds is dark at times erotic and the thrilling suspense of what was to happen kept me totally captivated with the book. The characters were beautifully written if not somewhat tragic and the depravity of the story. A highly recommended dark read. It can easily be read as a standalone book.
Get ready to be dragged into this darkly depraved erotic book! Enslaved was a deeply disturbing tale of wronged women and the lengths some would go to for their own sick pleasure. Bravo to Quinn for taking on so much! She endured so much more than anyone should have, and she was feisty and tough through and through. This book is definitely not for the faint of heart – there are untold scenes of pain and torture triggers – but I was completely caught up in this demented story, trying to figure out if Reed was the man I thought he would be. There are some sick, twisted people in Enslaved, and their crazy bid for power made for some demented moments. Through it all though, I could only keep cheering on Quinn and some of the other “residents” as they fought for their lives. What a thoroughly disturbing read!
Have you ever read or heard something that you wish with all your heart you could go back to that moment before you were aware of it? Because having your eyes opened to it, is too much to handle. It’s like a bad train wreck that you can’t unsee and is too horrific to look away from at the same time. Now imagine you are part of this horrible thing you have just been made aware of and there’s no help for you. You are totally helpless and at the mercy of your captors. This is what Quinn faces. She’s in college and out with a friend, in the wrong place at the right time, when rich boy Lance shows up at the party making a pass at her. His daddy has power and is a congressman. Quinn has to defend herself and during the process, Lance trips and is in a coma. Instead of going to prison, Quinn is offered a deal. Go to a new rehab place the court system offers for first time offenders for a whole lot less time than prison. The only thing is, this rehab is run by the congressman and his cronies. A lot of judges and other powerful people are part of it. The women here are beaten and abused in more ways than one on a daily basis. But the worst is yet to come. At the end of their five year sentence, or however long, they aren’t free. There’s something else planned for them. Something far worse. Quinn’s options seem hopeless. It will take a miracle for her. She finds it in one of the worst prison guards. One who happens to be Lance’s best friend and also the one the other women call a monster. But how can he help her?
This was the most twisted and psychological read I’ve read in a while. I was scared out of my wits. There were so many emotions, pain, horror, despair, anguish, helplessness, everything the prisoners felt. There was also triumph at the end and throughout at parts. It’s always interesting to see just how far the human mind will go before it breaks and says no more. Rage and anger rises up to replace fear. Quinn got to pay back the guards and people who owned the place. It was great. I loved how well the characters were written. I can’t wait to read the author’s other books.
Ms. Rayne is a new to me author.
So going into Enslaved I didn’t know what to expect.
This book held me interest from start to finish.
Quinn was one amazing young lady!
She’s so strong and capable.
She has an inner strength and determination not to give up in her darkest of times.
Her will to overcome and not be defeated was astounding!
Now Reed on the other hand is hard for me to connect with.
I love books with the antihero.
But Reed just upset me a lot. His moral compass is very askew.
I liked the premise of the book.
The storyline and plot were pulling and intense.
I thought Ms. Rayne’s writing style was excellent.
There was no dull moments in the book.
It’s fast paced and suspenseful.
Besides Reed,I loved everything about this book.
Quinn is a strong and determined female who is determined to get herself and others out of the situation they are in. Reed is forced to face the truth of people he thought he knew. No spoilers; this is a must read! This is a well written story which is gritty, raw, dark, twisted, sadistic, and filled with corruption, suspense, danger, and love. I look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all lovers of dark and unexpected tales.
When I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Sansa Rayne is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can’t wait for the next book.Walker Center isn’t a normal jail. In here, inmates work. Twelve hours a day, every day. If we misbehave, vicious guards punish us. They strip away our dignity, turn us against each other and rob us of our sanity. No one leaves, except as property.
From the beginning, let me say that this will not be to everyone’s taste and will contain matter that can be triggers for some. That being said, I was absolutely captivated with this dark, enthralling tale. The h goes through hell and is a strong woman. The H takes a while to warm up to, but together they are phenomenal. The plot has twists, complex characters and a gripping storyline.
This book was my first by this author and I loved her writing! This book is just what your looking for if you into the darkness of romance. The story is not for the week. Quinn is involved in a horrible accident that happened because she was trying to protect herself. The man in involved his father is more powerful than is realized until it’s too late for Quinn. Instead of jail she is sent to an alternative institution. Prison would have been better… Reed is the man supposed to break her. But instead she breaks him. She opens his heart and his eyes to what is really going on. This book was awesome! I couldn’t put it down. I’ll be reading more by this author in the future.
What a freaking ride!!!! This book perfectly satisfied my craving for a dark, erotic, romantic thriller. Quinn is truly captivating and a super strong woman that refuses to break no matter what they do to her. She may have accidentally put someone in a coma, but she knows that where she ends up and what these sadists do is completely and utterly wrong. Reed is an unapologetic sadist and has found himself in a job where he gets to let his true self out without consequences. He truly believes that what he does is justified and the women deserve it. When Quinn is brought in, he’s ready to punish her severely because he believes she hurt his friend on purpose with no regret or remorse. Then things come to light and his carefully ordered world starts crumbling down. Reed must choose a side and his life will be forever altered no matter which side he chooses. Grab this truly engaging book today, you will not be disappointed.
This book has BIG Triggers. Please be aware of that before you read. I am a fan of Dark Romances. There is just something about them. And this one captivated me from the start. I could not put this book down.
Going into this book I wasn’t sure on Quinn or Reed. Reed especially he was un-redeemable in my eyes.
Throughout the book you will see corrupt, possible violation, BDSM themes, and a lot more debauchery. There is a very strong heroine, and a questionable immoral Hero.. But don’t give up follow through the end and read it. It is absolutely worth it.
This was a dark, twisted and suspenseful book. Quinn accidentally puts the guy who tried to violate her in a coma and is tricked into going to Walker Center where you’re basically a slave waiting to be bought. I loved Quinn she was strong and brave considering her situation. Reed kind of got on my nerves because of how upset he was over his “friend” that even when he thought back on their interactions wasn’t really a friend. He got better when he came to his senses lol. I thought the book was well written even though sometimes it was too much for me.
*Received ARC for honest review
As twisted and dark as you think you can get, you cannot get even close to Sansa Rayne. Enslaved goes beyond the pale of twisted craziness. My mind cannot even wrap itself around the level of depravation this book hits. I read with a clenched heart and pounding pulse at the goings on at the prison and the guards. I hope this book is not a vision of what our judicial system is for the future. Kudos for scaring the crap out of me and making me want more.
I read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Arc review for honest review. When Quinn Harris gets in trouble after a altercation with lance prescot. She is sentenced to walker prison and what happens to her and where she meets Reed. This is a dark romance . This also a 10 star read because it show how we as humans can with stand anything with hope.
When Quinn is thrown in the Walker Work Center instead of jail she knows something isn’t right. A place she shouldn’t be over self defense. Reed is a guard at the center and is going to punish Quinn for harming his best friend. Stuck at the Walker center, can Quinn find a way to stay strong and get out or will they break her to the point of no return. Can Reed do what he is told to do or will his moral compass and curiosity about this girl get the better of him? This is a very dark, twisted romance told in dual POV.
I would LOVE to crawl into Sansa Rayne’s skull, and see what depravities she has stored in there! Enslaved is probably the Darkest Book I have read this year! If you have triggers this is not the book for you. BUT you will miss out on a seriously fabulous book! Believe it or not it is a love story, a book of discoveries good and bad and redemption!
