I love having Nicole and Jacob’s words intertwined. In this book Nicole gets to go back to the past and she also gets to meet Sanso, who will train her – whether she wants him to or not! They must all work together to save Shonlin and stop Keitus. But will they get it done fast enough?
Book 8 continues the Mosaic Chronicles. It picks up right where we left off with Obscure. Austin, Nicole, Lizzie, Jacob and our assorted friends and family race to find the last Talisman only to discover a shocking and heartbreaking secret. But, true to form, our heroes rally and find a new way to defeat our arch enemy, Keitus. Along the way, Nicole goes through serious trials and receives some expected and unexpected proposals and surprises. Yes there is a cliffhanger, but I am working on patience so this works. LOL.
Nicole and friends have learned that the talismans they have are not enough to keep up with Keitus. What must they do. They are going as fast as possible, but it is not enough. In order to help her friends, Nicole is forced to work with an Ember God. Keitus has ordered this Ember Gods to be destroyed, but Sanso was able to escape and heal with the help of someone.
Can Sanso be trusted? Nicole is forced to believe he can be. She is forced to learn how to fight with Sanso training her.
She feels she is not good enough to physically fight the enemies, but she must try. Sanso is falling in love with her. Is she falling in love with Sanso or is her love for Austin strong enough to last?
Twists and turns abound. As the series is getting close to an end the author, Andrea Pearson, throws us more curves. The book is getting more and more exciting as it progresses. Make time to read this book, you will enjoy it.
Excellent! What more can I say? Ms. Pearson does it again. You can actually feel Nichole’s frustration as she tries to beat Keitus at his game. Once more, Nichole is racing to try to find the amulets first. Things are really heating up in this book. What can possibly go wrong? *I received a free eBook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A fantastic read that grabs you right from the beginning. Its fast paced and action packed. If you like battles and action and great story telling this is the read for you. Nicole has to make some hard decisions. I also like how the story flows theres never a dull moment in the book. There is twists and turns. The Author really brings the Characters out in the book as well you feel like your right there with the Characters living vicariously. A definite must read

ONE MORE TIME!!!
Man, I have to say the more I get into this series the more exciting they become. This volume wasn’t any different. It pulled me and held firm. I was lost in the depths of the pages. The scenes were exceptional and the characters are realistic and true to form. I love how the tale continues with the same energy I felt from the first book. The world building I’ve gotten to know so well keeps changing. Getting more exciting and unpredictable. Yep! There’s twists and turns and surprises that kept me on my toes. The storyline is definitely on the move. You keep wondering where it’s going from here. It continues to amaze me how much imagination Andrea pours into her creations. I don’t think she has a limit. This is just a small step for her it seems. You did a wonderful job Andrea.
