Part of a world I loathe.
Part of a family who hates me more than I hate myself.
Living with a girl who reminds me of my darkness.
I’m. In. Hell.
Also known as the Cosa Nostra.
My life was over the minute I stepped off that plane.
Son to a murdered mob boss.
Heir to a throne of murder and lies.
My name is Dante Nicolasi.
And there will be blood.

Mafia life has its good and bad and Rachel Van Dyken does an amazing job of portraying both in her Eagle Elite series. Man, the sexy, powerful men and the strong women that complete them is present in every book.
In Enrage, we’re given the story of young Dante and El. Both are no strangers to mafia life. It’s affected them both at young ages but their experiences have been quite different. Now they’re under the same roof as they work out a plan to place El under protection and train Dante so he’s ready to claim his birthright.
Their story was filled with a bit of angst, lots of sexual desire as well as danger as a new foe makes its way to the surface.
I’m loving each and every book in this series. The characters are passionate and their tales are intense. I can’t wait for the next one.
I cannot get enough of the mafia guys!
Dante seems to always ruin his girl’s fun, “…I ran my finger lower, lower — his hand shot out and grabbed my wrist before I could continue my exploration. “Hunting for treasure?” He said without opening his eyes, his firm still grip on my hand. “Or just curious from last night?” Dante’s woman just doesn’t understand some of his frustrations, “I have a sexy as hell woman straddling me and I can’t even see her, what do you expect me to do? Laugh? You realize how painful it is to be pressed against you and not feel you?” Yeah wasn’t expecting that big ole plot twist…but I loved Dante, but I’m still stunned.
Wow! This was intense and awesome from beginning to end. I loved it. The narrators were fantastic. I definitely recommend this book.
I don’t know if I will ever recover from this book.
Dante was meant to be a boss and I loved being able to sit back and enjoy the ride as the original elect guys did everything they could to help him prepare for the role.
El stole my heart as I read the pages and watched her transform through the pages, she found her strength and it was a beautiful thing to watch.
Dante and El from the moment they were introduced to one another the chemistry between them set the air around them on fire, I knew their story would be explosive and it was.
I’m looking forward to starting Eulogy as soon as possible.
*5 Stars*
“What made them mafia – is what made them people”
I was curious about Dante from the previous book. And I had figured out who his lady would likely be from that as well. This was a great story of initiation and finding ones place.
There’s a great push and pull between Dante and El, and there are many things going on in the background, as with in all the other books, that keep our favourite family moving forward, and giving us so many pieces towards the whole, of this big mafia world and family.
Dante and El were both wonderful characters and I really liked them getting through to each other, and helping each other out. Dante gets lots of time with the bosses as well, and that’s wonderful too.
And by the end, I knew something big was going to happen, but man oh man, I did not expect it to be to the extent that it was. I was just all like WHATTTTTTTT!!! I finished it a few hours ago on my lunch break at work, and I’m still not ok. I was trying to hold in the tears, the events at the end of this book are that huge.
I can’t wait to dive into the next book, even if its with a bit of trepidation, because I just need to see what’s going to happen to my faves.
Blood In. No Out.
This book captivated me right from the start and never let go. A stunning love story that is powerfully raw, incredibly emotional, and suspenseful. Oh, my heart. This romance not only had all the feels; it brought me to my knees. With an incredibly sexy, fiercely protective, very determined hero and a beautiful, strong and resilient heroine. The connection they share is undeniable. I loved their flirty banter, sarcasm and wicked wit. Their attraction is magnetic and chemistry is not only off-the-charts; it is palpable. Their passion is sizzling and explosive. A beautifully written storyline that is a rollercoaster of twists and turns. I felt everything the characters experienced. I laughed, cried, felt the joy and every ounce of pain. From the heart-stopping and soul-shattering to the swoon-worthy and breathtaking moments, the emotions radiated from the pages. A story delivered with so much heart and soul that that I fell deeper in love with the characters and this story with each turn of the page. I adored the family scenes – the closeness, the razzing, the protectiveness. I just can’t get enough of this mafia family!! I loved every second and didn’t want it to end. This is my first Eagle Elite book and I will definitely be reading the other books in this series!
I received an ARC copy of this book for my honest review.
Dante hates everyone and everything in his life but he is bound by revenge and blood. Blood in No Out. He craves the blood he draws when fighting he is afraid of nothing. Then you have El a girl who is afraid of everything , who has lived a life no one should ever have too. She was rescued from a Petrov the ones who Dante wants revenge against for killing his father. He doesn’t trust her but all that changes.
The tension in this book between all the characters makes for a great page turner. I could not get enough of all the drama happening in this book. Who is to be trusted and who isn’t ? I loved how Rachel wrote the sexual tension between Dante and El , you could tell they wanted each other but didn’t want to . I loved every second of this book.
Three chapters in and I still had no idea what the plot was. A lot of angst and blood and not a lot of anything else.
So at first this book was a little difficult to get everything since it is the 1st one of the series I have read and theres other before it. That being said, i caught on quickly and loved every word.
A few mistakes throughout but i dont feel that they took away too much from the book.
I will be reading the rest of the series before and after this book 🙂
Gave it one star because there wasn’t a half star. I hate a book that starts in the middle of a sage and keeps you confused until the middle. Put it down after about 10 pages. Can only stand just so much blood and rage.
Read the series. Kept my attention. Like the writing style.
I hated it, couldn’t make it through the 2nd chapter. It started out like I had missed something and didn’t ever get better.
So good! I couldn’t put this book down! Inner workings of the Mafia and how far one man goes for love. Blood, fight scenes, intense love connections. This book is an amazing read!
This author is amazing.
This was a great read and very, very hot!!
Really enjoyed this book
Another good eagle elite book.
Read the first chapter and could not get into it. Deleted it from my download.
Loved this book. It was a page turner.
