From International Bestselling author, Dr. Rebecca Sharp, comes the new standalone in the Winter Games series…ChanceThe Wheel of Fortune (Card 10): Things tend to go in cycles. Good times then bad.Do you know what it’s like to lose everything? I do.Eight years ago, Jessa Lynn Madison and the title “Best Snowboarder in the US” were both mine. And then she betrayed me and the mountain had followed … Snowboarder in the US” were both mine.
And then she betrayed me and the mountain had followed suit.
No matter how much I drank, the truth was hard to swallow when it meant choking on my pride.
And no matter how much I screwed, the truth was that I still wanted her.
Anger. Rage. They don’t even begin to describe how I feel.
I was never going to be able to compete again,
but life had given me the perfect opportunity to have Jessa.
And to break her.
Misery loves company. And Jessa was about be my company.
Jessa
The Fool (Card 0): A symbol of potential and new beginnings.
All I wanted was a fresh start in the town I once called home.
Too bad home was littered with memories of him. Chance Ryder.
The man I’d loved. The man I’d left.
The man who was now my patient. And my roommate.
I know he wants to use me. I know he wants to hurt me.
But I also know that I can’t stop myself from wanting him.
And wanting him has always been my downfall.
Now all I can think about is how to tell him the truth and beg his forgiveness.
I, of all people, should know that explanations and apologies won’t matter.
When it comes to Chance Ryder, he’ll hold onto his pridelike he should be holding onto me.
Enjoy the Ride is the third standalone in the Winter Games series…more
Sharp has once again produced an absolute Masterpiece. Enjoy the Ride has it All. It has the love, the turmoil, the angst, and of course the SnowmassHole.
Chance Ryder, snowboarding god, must face the realities of losing his livelihood. When he is faced with a career ending injury he retreats into the darkness. Pushes everyone away. Sharp did a phenomenal job of portraying him in the alpha asshole light. I wanted to kiss him and smack him at the same time.
Jessa Madison, after forcing Chance to hate her, returns to Aspen and lands her dream job. She is a smart, funny, fiesty and strong lady. She doesnt take the BS Chance throws her way.
And when circumstances force Chance and Jessa to spend time together, sparks start flying. Their attraction and their flame never wavered in the eight years they were apart. They seriously steam up the pages with their lust, their hatred and their secrets.
Enjoy the Ride is definitely my Favorite of the Winter Games series.
What have I been waiting for? This is the first book I read by this author and I’m blown away. I cannot believe that I have not picked up one of her books sooner!
This is the third book in the Winter Games series and although it can be read as a standalone, you’ll definitely want to read the previous in the series as well.
After eight years and getting her Physical Therapy degree, Jessa returns to Aspen to start new, to heal and to make amends for betraying and devastating the only man she ever loved.
When Chance finds out Jessa has returned, he makes plans to have Jessa fall in love with him all over again only to leave and cause her heart to break the way she did his.
There is a fine line between love and hate. Will these two cross the threshold back into love or, are old wounds and secrets just too much to heal and forgive?
This is hands down my favourite second chance romance to date.
Jessa and Chase are on fire! Their back and forth was foreplay and was so sexy!
Chance was alpha male to the extreme. He is demanding and possessive-an absolute heartthrob. He more than proves himself to be worthy of being the man at Jessa’s side.
Jessa is smart and caring. Although the decision she made and the secrets she kept
for so long grated, I understood her reasoning.
This book is sexy and page-turning. You’ll without a doubt enjoy the ride.
I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Just about a year ago i read my first book by Rebecca Sharp and fell completely inlove with how she writes and creates such complex and interesting characters. Each installment of this series has been leading and hinting at the work wins that would be Chance Ryder and Jessa Madison. And Phew! Was I not disappointed.
Chance Ryder is my favorite kind of book boyfriend, a charming A-hole with a heart of gold and Jessa… oh how my heart belongs to her! The strength in Jessa and her fight to not give up no matter what mixed with a vulnerability that is so relatable! Gah! I love it!
Everyone needs to read this series it’s a wonderful way to lose time in a book! Enjoy The Ride can soothe any book lovers need because it is full of emotion, angst, love, friendship, secrets, loss, and some serious steamy moments! So read it!!

This is the third book in the Winter Games series but can be read as a standalone. This is the story of Jessa and Chance who were High school sweethearts. This story just like the others in the series had me hooked from the start until the end and I never wanted to put it down. Another awesome story by the author. I have to say this is my favourite book in the series so far.
Chance Ryder, snowboarding god, must face the realities of losing his livelihood. When he is faced with a career ending injury he retreats into the darkness and pushes everyone away.
Jessa Madison, after forcing Chance to hate her, returns to Aspen and lands her dream job. She is a smart, funny, feisty and strong lady.
And when circumstances force Chance and Jessa to spend time together, sparks start flying. Their attraction and their flame never wavered in the eight years they were apart.
There are also plenty of peeks into the lives of the previous couples and a look at Tammy, which I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to get to read her story.
Finally managed to pop my Rebecca Sharp cherry!!! Enjoy the Ride was quite the book to be my first. A page turning second chance romance.
Chance Ryder Best Snowboarder in the US and madly in love with his girlfriend, Jessa. But in the blink of an eye, the love of his life was out of his life. Then the title he wore with pride was taken from him. How is a person to survive after losing the 2 best things in life?
Jessa Lynn Madison left town to pursue her dream. One that when she decided to leave and go to college in another state, her heart along with her boyfriend’s heart would shatter. It wasn’t easy leaving behind the one she loved but she knew she had to.
Her dreams…His dreams…
Now 8 years later, Jessa has landed the dream job. One she has worked her tail off to land. She’s a physical therapist in the clinic back in Colorado. Life is going well!!! Until she meets her first patient.
Chance could not believe his eyes! She was back! The one who shattered his heart.
Now that they both are older, is it possible for the shattered hearts they both carry around can somehow form a heart that beats like a normal person? Or will the anger that he carries be enough to seek the revenge that he’s planned all along?
What a good, well-paced second chance romance book! Really enjoyed this one.

A great addition to the series. I love the dynamics between the main characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
What’s the saying “If you love someone, set them free. If they come back they’re yours; if they don’t they never were”? That’s what comes to mind after reading Jessa & Chance’s story.
Chance and Jessa were high school sweethearts. Both had big dreams. Different dreams. In different states. Chance is the top snowboarder in the US. Jessa has worked her butt off to be accepted to college in Texas to fulfill her dream of being a physical therapist. Chance is ready to follow Jessa to Texas, and Jessa realizes that she can’t let him give up his dream for hers. She stages a scene at a party to have a Chance see her kiss his best friend Nick.
Fast forward eight years, Jessa has landed her dream job back in Aspen. As luck would have it, the top snowboarder in the US broke his knee and needs physical therapy. Chance is bitter and angry. Jessa is happy but broken. Chance is out for revenge and Jessa will let him have it…as long as he continues therapy and works hard at getting better. However, fate has other plans.
Enjoy The Ride is second chance romance that will have you rooting for these two. The soul knows it’s soulmate. Even though they have loved, been broken and experienced loss, it’s all part of the ride. I can’t wait for Nick & Tammy’s Book!!!!!
Jessa had moved back and gotten her dream job that she always wanted, returning to the town that she had always loved but also had her ex Chance.
Surgery had fixed him, but Chance still couldn’t snowboard, seeing Jessa he had one plan in mind, make her fall for him and then break her like she broke him.
Seeing Chance as her first patient, she knew she couldn’t’ do anything, he’d taken everything from her and he wasn’t going to take this job from her as well.
Chance is barely surviving, with not being able to compete and the feelings Jessa is stirring in him, setting out on his plan for revenge, will he get what he wants in the end.
Jessa hides her own pain and reasons for what happened years ago, she can’t help the feelings that Chance still stirs up in her, but can she tell him about the past and why she left.
A lack of communication got them in the mess their in, a lack of communication has them living in the same house and the sexual chemistry going into override, will they be able to communicate and see what’s right in front of them.
3.5 Stars
Enjoy the Ride is book 3 in the Winter Games series, and is the epitome of a second chance romance.
I’ve been excited about Jessa and Chance’s story since On the Edge, and it was just as addicting as I knew it would be! These two characters are both broken in their own ways, and the other is the missing piece to put each back together. Too bad neither one of them realizes that.
Jessa gave up everything 8 years ago so Chance could follow his dreams. Unfortunately, the only way to do that was to make him hate her. Now she’s back in town and his hatred towards her has only grown. When she’s forced into spending time with him every day she needs to figure out how to mend fences, and protect her heart at the same time.
Chance once loved Jessa with everything he had, no all he feels when he sees her is the need to destroy her. The two things he loved most in life betrayed him, his girl and then the mountain, and now he’s barely surviving. But when he finally gets the chance to make Jessa pay, he ends up with a lot more than he bargained for.
I loved these characters, the glimpses at their friends, and the insane chemistry. Their story was an emotional rollercoaster, and absolutely perfect for them. While I loved the story itself I did find myself struggling with the writing, and certain aspects were a bit much for me. I wasn’t able to get through it as quickly as I hoped, and unfortunately, this affected my rating. I am, however, excited for the next book and can’t wait to see how it all plays out!
Dr. Rebecca Sharp is a new to me author, although I hadn’t read any of her work before I did have a couple of books on my TBR shelf and I also had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband at a book signing over the summer. Very sweet woman, I highly recommend you saying hello if you have the opportunity at a book signing she was gracious enough to tell me about herself and her work without any pressure of purchasing, although I did because I had planned on it, like I said very nice. Anyway, back to the book……
Chance had his heart not only broken by his ex-girlfriend she totally destroyed it. They were High School sweethearts with plans on moving to Texas so she can go to college near her family, but then Jessa did the unthinkable and it was over. Chance kinda, sorta, moved on, but never let his heart get involved, other than his love for snowboarding and his family. Then Jessa is back and all Chance wants is revenge.
Jessa had her reasons for doing things the way she did, don’t we all? You always think its for the best but what if it wasn’t? What if it was your biggest regret? Will moving back to Aspen allow Jessa to make things up to Chance? Or will he get the revenge he so desperately desires?
Winter Games is a series of standalone books that are connected through friendship and family. That being said I did not read the first two books in the series and I did not feel as if I needed to in order to follow this story, I will say that I did like the two couples so I will be going back and reading their story to see how each of them got their HEAs. I have added the fourth book, In Too Deep, to my TBR shelf as well, it isn’t scheduled for release until February 2019 but I am really looking forward to seeing how Tammy and Frost get together. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys sports romance, second chances, or the enemies-to-lovers trope. Happy Reading!!!
**I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book**
Me: I don’t like angsty romances.
Me: I realllyyyy don’t like the second chance trope.
Me: I love the a-hole but I don’t like when they’re just MEAN, ya know?
ALSO ME: LET ME READ REBECCA SHARP. THAT’LL DO ME GOOD.
SPOILER ALERT: If you don’t like any of the above, you shouldn’t read Enjoy the Ride. However, if you can go into this with an open mind and heart, I STRONGLY suggest you read this.
“Then kiss me, Chance. Kiss me and leave me alone.”
Jessa and Chance had a once in a lifetime love, but they found it when they were too young. Their love was intense, all-consuming, and burned too bright for their eighteen year old selves. They were adventurous with their hearts and souls, but it wasn’t enough.
To save Chance from making a decision he would have regretted, Jessa made a decision that would change their paths irrevocably.
For the last eight years, Jessa avoided all things Chance, but when her soul tells her it’s time to go home, she does. Is it the mountain calling her? Or is it something else? Someone else?
Reading Enjoy the Ride sometimes felt worse than flying through the air and knowing you’re going to fall. The pit in my stomach didn’t go away for the entire 12 hours it took me to read this book. My heart continued to ache for Jessa, and I consistently wanted to scream and cry for Chance. (Yes, I wanted to cry for him too the big jerk!)
I am still kinda reeling from everything that went on. I mean, just when you think “there’s no way something else can happen” BAM, something else happens. And it will wreck you. I thought On the Edge had twists and turns galore, but Enjoy the Ride had waaaaaay more.
One thing I loved about this book is Chance. As much as he was a grade A a-hole, there was a loving man hiding beneath the layers of hurt and anger. He believes he wants to ruin Jessa, and gives himself the opportunity to touch her, get to know her. He believes he wants to ruin her, but he is also protective and possessive. He doesn’t let her get away with anything, and he definitely doesn’t let her keep her secrets.
Those secrets could crumble the man they call Pride, but Jessa is always there to pick him back up. Despite the fact it could ruin, destroy, and/or obliterate her heart, she puts it on the line to help Chance.
What a great push and pull romance. Jess broke Chance’s heart years ago. She is back now with her dream job. His goal is to destroy her for breaking his heart. As the reader we know the truth he doesn’t know and I swear it had me wanting to reach into this story and slap both characters. I wanted Jess to explain the truth. I wanted Chance to give up his need for revenge and just let himself love her. This story gripped my heart so tight. I wanted to hate Chance. But I couldn’t. He was a heart broken man. And his cockiness was too funny. And can we mention that dirty mouth of his? Had me blushing the whole way through. Jess is a character I totally love. She takes what she wants out of life. She was a strong female chasing her dreams. Watching her trying to resist Chance, her true love, made me feel like it was me going through. I loved every moment of this book. I couldn’t put it down. And this was my first book to read in the series. I definitely need to start on the previous ones pronto and I can’t wait for what’s next to come. Sports romance fans, read this now! Try not to fall in love with Chance and Jess. “Only. Ever. Always.”

This has been one of those books that I enjoyed from start to finish. Enjoy the Ride is book 3 in the Winter Games series, by Dr. Rebecca Sharp and is my favorite one yet!!! There is something about coming home again and life throwing that curve ball at you and making things right in the world again. But, things are not that easy for Chance and Jessa. Between them are drama, history, fortunes, family, love, heartbreak, jobs and everything else life has to throw at them. This story is so well written that you will just zip right through it.
As far as second chance romances, this one tops the charts. The chemistry flies off the page. You feel their pain, love, angst, happiness as if they are long lost friends. Oh and yes the SnowmassHole is still in effect.
High School sweethearts at their best. But when Jessa walks away, life does not go according to plan for either of them. Now, Jessa is back, trying to start fresh and make amends while Chance is out for one thing; payback for heartbreak that he felt when she left. But fate and what the cards say have another thing coming for them.
Amazing story, but I can’t wait to see what next in store for us!!!
This is the third book in this awesome series. Chance had his heart broken by Jessa, and he threw himself into his career to become a champion snow boarder. Jessa had a dream to become physiotherapist, and is back in town when Chance is injured. Will these two have a second chance at love and move on from enemies / lovers? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a beautifully written story which is filled with angst, secrets, redemption, emotion, heartbreak, and love. I look forward to reading more form this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
I really enjoyed my first read from Rebecca Sharp!
Angsty and fast paced, Enjoy The Ride is the perfect book to read this Winter.
The story line is perfect. The love-hate between the characters lead you into a very steamy story of a second chance at love after 8 years of being apart.
Drama, lust, love, friendship, all come together to a very intense book.

Good, but I needed just a bit more
I enjoyed this book. Chance is the bad boy we all love to hate. Jessa is the heroine that made a noble decision that impacted them both. Fast forward 8 years and fate brings them back together. The chemistry between them both is explosive.
While I enjoyed all that, the card explanation at the beginning of each chapter really didn’t explain anything except that Jessa was into that. I couldn’t make it part of the story because the connection wasn’t strong enough. I kept hoping for a stronger connection between the characters. I would’ve like a more original plotline.
This is my first book by Dr. Rebecca Sharp, but I do look forward to the next book to see how that develops.
I am a sucker for second chance romances and Enjoy the Ride captured my heart. Chance and Jesse once loved and both lost so much. Chance lost everything and had yo find a way to rebuild his life. Jesse left Chance behind to find herself, only to land her dream job right back where she started. As fate would have it, they are forced together and this is when the story heats up. The love and lust between Jesse and Chance are felt as soon as they see each other again. It never burned out and the pages sizzle with their romance.
Enjoy the ride was a fun read. It has all the ingredients to make a delicious story. Jesse and Chamce truly deliver a hit, sexy romance that will be hard to put down.
Just like these Snowmassholes addiction to snowboarding by getting a thrill on the snow, we get our win by getting more Winter Games stories. This is book three in the series, each can be read as a standalone. If you have read the books in order, we all wanted to know what the deal was between Chance and Jessa? We saw the tension, knew they shared a past and knew that she hurt him. But…the why and how she did it was not given in full detail. It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. This couldn’t be truer for Chance. He’s hurt and he’s still dealing with the loss of Jessa years later. He isn’t called Pride for nothing! He is going to win with his alphahole pride and let Jessa help heal him, but he is out for revenge. He’s going to make her want him and watch her crash. Little does he know there was a valid reason for her doing what she did all those years ago. Once it is revealed you see that it wasn’t there time to Enjoy the Ride back then, the time was now.
Chance held the title for Snowmasshole. Pride in winning, revenge and healing are some of his ways of claiming this title. I loved both books prior to this, but Jessa and Chance story just might be my favorite at the time cause based on what we see of Tammy her story is going to tear us apart. Winter games equal Frost! You feel the emotions, the hate and the understanding of both Chance and Jessa. It was nice to see the other characters as well. You will not feel lost if you picked it up from this book in the series and it just makes you eager to read their story. Bring on the next Snowmasshole in the Winter Game series, but make sure we have tissues, or your tears will stick to your face with the Frosty cold in Aspen.
This one will definitely take you on a ride
This book!!!! Lord this book. Rebecca Sharp does it again with the next installment of The Winter Games series. Jessa and Chance are fire and ice. This book is filled with all the angst and all the feels. I adore Jessa and her strength. Chance is so hot, hard and sexy. This couple is absolutely breathtaking together. Everyone needs to read this!!! Enjoy Jessa and Chance’s ride. LOVE IT!!!!!
