If I want to tame my darkness, I’ll have to trust an enemy of magic… we’ll have to become fugitives ourselves. But with allies and enemies alike after us, this quest’s gearing up to be harder to take down than a rabid dragon with a kidney stone. Hey, nobody ever said being a student at the Academy of Magic would be easy.
But as we search, a shocking revelation comes to light: the fugitive has the same magic—the same darkness—I do. And it seems the powers we both possess are far more dangerous than I ever imagined, threatening me, my kinda-sorta-boyfriend Asher, and everyone else I care about.
I have to get this power under control before it destroys me. And the crazy thing is, the prisoner might be the only one who can teach me how. If we can find him. And if he doesn’t kill us first.
Shifters, vampires, magic, romance, and twists you won’t see coming. Jump into this fast-paced Academy urban fantasy, featuring a snarky heroine, a swoon-worthy hero, and a supernatural world unlike any you’ve ever imagined…These are urban fantasies you won’t want to put down!

Enemy of Magic – a review by Rosemary Kenny
Skylar Rivest has a real battle on her hands in Book 3 of Sean Fletcher’s The Darkness Within Series, Enemy of Magic, as she and boyfriend Asher head for the Paris Academy with close friend Colson, to search for their missing friend Mia after finding out where she’s gone, from the demon Carsisyphus.
Who’s escaped from prison?
Why do they want Mia? Can she help them?
When they solve one problem, there’s soon another, more serious, to deal with…it seems Skylar’s enemy Kesia Armani has ‘infected’ her with a God…who appeared as the Dark Prince of her dreams. Skye doesn’t know this, until he tries to overwhelm her resistance to his control, bringing matters to a head.
Can Skylar and her friends find the escaped fugitive and if they do, will this person (apparently similarly ‘possessed’ formerly), agree to help her beat her own Enemy of Magic?
Don’t wait to find out the stunning events and answers to these and more questions…just get your copy today!

Another action-packed, suspensful, intriguing installment in Skylar’s adventures! This time she and her friends travel to France to look for Mia, who has disappeared. But nothing goes as planned, and of course they’ll embroil themeselves in new adventures. Will they find Mia and discover the reason she has disappeared? And will Skylar be able to resist the power of the Dark Prince? Secrets come out in the open as well as revelations that will have Skylar reeling!
I read this in one sitting. I just wish the next installment was out. The suspense is killing me!!!

I hadn’t realized how much I missed these guys – I had a lot of fun reconnecting with Mia, Asher, Skylar, Colson, and – of course – “Smolder-Face” (aka the Dark Prince)… :)))
So far, this is my favorite book in the series, and not only because this is “Mia’s book,” where we finally learn more about her family and her history. I also appreciate Sean Fletcher’s trademark blend of an action-packed plot, the highly entertaining banter between the friends, a bit of heartbreak and a little romance.
Can’t wait for the next (final) book in the series!
We have mystery, suspense, action and so much more. We start this book with Skylar and her friends trying to find Mia. They get permission to go to another academy to act like students to see if they can find her. What they find is a prisoner has broken free at the same time that Mia disappeared. Now the red guard don’t trust them and are watching. Kasia is still trying to destroy. Can they find Mia? What will happen if they find the Prisoner? What will the Red Guard do to them? Will they have to fight Kasia again? Who will find them first? Will Skylar find out the truth about the person inside her soul? I received a free copy for my honest review.
