I don’t love him. I don’t even like him.I just want him.Eli Loveless was my nemesis from the first day of kindergarten until we graduated high school. Everything I did, he had to do better – and vice versa. The day he left town was the best day of my life.Ten years later, the day he came back was the worst. Now he’s my co-worker.Grown-up Eli Loveless is sexy as sin. He’s hotter than asphalt in the … is sexy as sin. He’s hotter than asphalt in the summer. The irritating kid I once knew is gone, and he’s been replaced by a man with green eyes, perfect abs, and a cocky smile.
It’s bad that I want him.
It’s worse that he wants me back.
There are looks. There are smirks. There are smiles that make my panties burst into flame.
And then there’s a shared kiss that leads to the hottest night of my life.
This is no office romance. This is a five-alarm fire.
What’s a girl to do when the man I can’t stand is the one I can’t stop lusting after?
Enter into a friends-with-benefits agreement, of course.
No dates. No relationship. Just blisteringly hot sex, because if there’s one person I could never fall for, it’s Eli.
…right?

Enemies With Benefits by Roxie NoirRoxie Noir is a smart romance, packed with funny insights and stunning moments of emotion. Ms. Noir knows how to write a salty-sweet Southern girl and her handsome hunk of a counterpart. The story itself is brilliant, at times making you laugh, at times tearing at your heartstrings. It’s full of sexual tension that pays off in big way by showing us the fireworks between the characters.
Put down whatever you’re reading and READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW!
Violet and Eli story ONE HOT READ, HOLY SHITE Batman steamy sex scenes that will set you kindle on fire. They have Love hate relationship its more like sizzling hot chemistry. A must read, I voluntarily read an advanced copy, ONE-CLICK NOW. Another great story Roxie
The boy who drove her crazy is the man she can’t forget. Enemies with Benefits is a flameworthy romantic comedy. Noir lights up the heart with an over the top duo that are as endearing as they are frustrating, but never ceases to be entertaining. Eli and Violet incite drama with their overactive hormones and never ending banter. Noir keeps it fun, flirty and irresistible. I’m not ashamed to admit I loved every minute of it.
Did I mention how scorching hot this book is? Is it weird to say how much I loved the sex scenes? In conclusion, I luuuuuurve this book.
Such great characters! Eli and Violet have such wonderful banter as they find themselves face to face with the “grown-up” version of their childhood nemesis’. Of course it definitely doesn’t help that Eli is gorgeous and Violet is a knockout. Can they overcome their childhood differences and find a peaceful existence? Great book that you won’t want to put down until the end
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
A hot enemies to lovers book. Violet and Eli and like fire and ice but when they come together they are nothing but fireworks. Love their story and their ending is beautiful.
My heart is in absolute bliss with this amazing book! It’s not your run of the mill enemies to lovers! These two characters have a “hate” that runs deep and I wasn’t sure if there was a way they could bury the hatchet but an unexpected alliance brings them together and the “hate” they have had turns into a combustible desire that sets them both in fire! Once they finally give in to their feelings they discover they are better together and make the perfect team but can old wounds truly heal?
Eli and Violet are both ambitious and trying to find their place in the world and figure out what lies ahead in their future! Their quick wit and light banter was hilarious and though I understood their feud I also knew that they needed to hash it out and find a way to make things work!
Eli and Violet had had an ongoing rivalry going on for years, and now ten years later fate brings them back together again. The chemistry and sexual tension between these two is explosive and undeniable. This is a beautifully written story, which is an enemies / lovers and filled with witty banter. This is a fun, humorous, entertaining, emotional sweet read, which pulls at the heartstrings along the way. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this exceptional author, and highly recommend her work for all readers.
This story was absolutely delightful! Violet and Eli are just adoreable together. Okay, well, not at first. In the beginning of this tale they are down right mean to each other. We’re talking not just rude but seriously vicious and spiteful!
Over time, as they reconnect and try working together as adults, they start to draw closer to one another. And neither can deny the serious chemistry they share. These two just about combust on the page!
Before too long, they agree to a strictly physical relationship. But as with many best laid plans, theirs do not go as envisioned. Soon, Violet and Eli are falling for each other, although neither is willing to admit it.
There’s some intrigue and suspense related to outside circumstances. Which eventually do cause angst between our couple. Luckily, however, there is no cheating or any such thing in this tale. But it does take some time and effort before these two come back together.
In the end, they do manage to achieve the happily ever after together that neither of them ever believed possible, but that everyone around them was just waiting for!
I believe this is the first in a new planned series, and I look forward to reading future installments. I am hopeful that we’ll get to see more of the Loveless clan in general, as well as follow up with Violet and Eli in particular.
Eli and Violet competed over everything throughout their school years. Come graduation they both went their separate ways. Then they meet again at the restaurant Eli is the chef. Violet is on the worse date of her life ! The chemistry between Eli and Violet was amazingly HOT!!. Both characters are very likeable. I love the storyline, it’s funny, emotional, whitty, and plenty of Steam !!!! I highly recommend this book and any of Roxie Noir!! I read this book through an arc program and this is my opinion.
Enemies With Benefits is a sexy, funny, completely engrossing romance with wonderful characters and the power to draw you right into Eli and Violet’s world. The great writing brings this story vividly to life. I can’t think of adequate words to describe how much I freakin’ loved this story. Awesome read.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
This was a very enjoyable enemies to lovers romance. Eli and Violet generate plenty of sparks with their long simmering attraction, emotional tension and witty barbs. Heat, heart and humor fill this fun read. This is my frank, freely posted review.
I loved reading Enemies with Benefits! Following Violet and Elias as they are constantly competing against each other professionally as well as personally. I always enjoy reading Roxie Noir’s books, and this one is no exception.

Roxie Noir did it again with Enemies With Benefits. It’s sweet and sexy, funny and emotional. I loved the characters in this book – both the main and the secondary. I didn’t want to put this book down.
I received an advanced copy of this book but I will definitely be purchasing it. This is my honest and voluntary review.
The first thing I fell in love with was the cover! You will know from the start you’re heading for trouble with that one, adorable and ornery and promising a ton of fun! The author gives the reader two very likable characters in this book – not that they like each other (yet), but the reader likes them. And it only gets better!
Opening up with Violet’s recounting of her date had me laughing out loud as the smug, smirking, occasionally snorting date dropped further and further from the vision of what Violet wanted in a man. And the author’s talent at writing this scenario was perfect! If the reader wasn’t ready to pop Todd in the nose after just knowing him a short while, we were obviously not reading the same chapter. The reader could feel every cringe poor Violet felt as Todd made a fool of himself with his loud, mispronounced French accent as he postured for Violet and anyone else watching him. After he orders and insults her dinner choice, he begins a boring one-sided conversation about golf as Violet contemplates how she will tell her friend Adeline about this horrible date she set her up on! (At the end of dinner, when Todd asked her, “Your place or mine?” and her first thought was “I’d rather get into a bathtub full of wolverines,” I must admit that I lost my composure for a moment!)
So when the very competitive Eli and Violet get back together again after a number of years, ending up as co-workers, the reader can only imagine how this is going to go… and the author does not disappoint. Seriously, the story line is great; the characters are well portrayed; the dialog is amazing. I definitely recommend this book for a fun reading experience where you will find yourself chuckling throughout each page!
Violet and Eli. Oh my gosh I love them. From right off they can’t stand each other because of past encounters, but they can’t deny the attraction either. Constant competition between them. This book is sweet, it’s a little bit complicated, it’s a little, how they were, how they are, are they still. It’s a whole LOT of hot though. One thing these two don’t lack, and the one thing they don’t disagree about, is the chemistry between them. That they have in abundance. With them competing over something yet again at their job,and deception and sabotage going on, it’s a race to see if what they’ve built is strong enough to last, or if everything will fall apart in the face of adversity.
They make each other crazy…with desire!
You know that one guy who you always competed against? Who drove you crazy, and vice versa? That’s Eli. And Violet and he would argue about the sun shining on a cloudless day. Loved their enemies to lovers story. Eli is simply delicious. Violet is spunky, determined, and absolutely fantastic. Their lifelong battle of one upsmanship gives us steam, humor, sweetness, and a phenomenal story!! Fantastic story of how they figure out each is the others HEA. I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Great great read!!!! I loved the storyline and thought it was well written. I loved the love hate relationship, i loved the banter it was so whitty and made me chuckle so much! The sex scenes were amazing and just overall a fantastic read!! This is defiantly a story you want to read!!!! I received an arc and this is my honest review!
Eli and Violet have been in conflict with each other from the days of kindergarten to high school graduation. They fight, argue, compete about everything but as adults, they can’t resist each other sexually. If Eli and Violet never had to talk to each other and just had sex, they’d get along just fine. Not only do they fight, but they work together now and that is just a formula for more laughs and more fun between the sheets. I definitely enjoyed the story, the premise and the side characters and hope we see more of Eli’s brothers in future stories.
This to me is such a fun book. It brings back all the “fun” situations children have with others when they are young. In Violet and Eli’s case I think things just turned into a mountain. The competing became a compulsion for both of them. Violet could not let Eli win at any cost. Eli on the other hand just wanted to beat Violet at anything. I have such feelings for both characters on different sides. Violet needs to succeed at things. Eli just seems to need to beat Violet. He doesn’t possess the same drive to beat others. I love the way their lives have been so different. Violet never changed much. Eli left town and tried a lot. I think the author did a great job at bringing an attraction strong enough to overcome a battle. I liked how Eli stepped up to help Violet when the chips were down. I enjoyed the secondary characters. Eli’s mom comes across as the know everything mom which is funny here. Eli’s brothers add a whole different side to the story. I can’t wait to see what is next in this series.
