“There comes a point in every woman’s life where she must decide what to believe: the truth of the past or the circumstances of the present.” Belle Peterson is hiding a secret. Seeking sanctuary in the small town of Maple Run, she’s intent on starting her life over—one she hopes honors Christ. The plan was going great until an undeniable attraction to Micah has her wondering if she’s changed at … changed at all.
Micah Campbell can’t understand why Belle is so uptight and wants nothing to do with her until the gentle whispers of God tell him to befriend her. He didn’t count on the feeling of protectiveness to rise up or that spark of attraction.
When Belle’s past is revealed, Micah prays that his love can endure it.

The story does touch on difficult topics, like spousal abuse.
Belle grew up in a world where women weren’t friends. In her marriage, her own husband valued her solely as an accessory to his expensive wardrobe.
Now, her life has flipped 180. She’s working for a living and has accepted Christ. New to life as a Christian, she denies herself anything that might stand a chance at drawing her back to what she’s left behind. Except…well…there’s this one man she can’t quite ignore.
Micah “Soup” has mixed feelings about the new nurse at work. She’s frigid to him and kind to everyone else. What gives? The harder he works to solve her mystery, the more he finds that friendship isn’t enough.
Belle and Micah both have monumental personal challenges to overcome, and both rely heavily on prayer as they navigate the minefield of life in this 2nd chance romance.
Artfully told.
Enduring Love is a beautiful story. Reminding us that whom God forgives, He redeems completely. Once I picked this book up it was hard to put it down.
This has been a great series, and Enduring Love won’t disappoint. I was so glad to return to Maple Run; it’s such a charming town with people who seem so real. Author Toni Shiloh has done a great job of helping the reader see Maple Run, as well as getting to know Belle and Micah. I enjoyed the fact that we are “visited” by characters in the previous stories. It was nice to see them again.
Throughout the story mystery and humor are woven together with forgiveness and love. Believe me, there is something for everyone. Shiloh isn’t afraid to take on the tough things in life, and to show us that with God all things are possible, including letting go of the past and moving forward.
If you enjoy a contemporary setting with clean romance and wonderful characters then you’ll love this book!
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
I’ve had the pleasure of reading a few of Toni Shiloh’s books, and I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every single one I’ve picked up. Each story is unique yet holds the same poignant writing style that is fresh, and honest. With dynamic characters who have real lives and deal with difficult hurdles. The best part for me is that every story is rich with Bible truth.
Enduring Love takes a difficult topic and places it at the foot of the cross. Seen through the lens of forgiveness and Jesus’s blood that paid for all of our sins. No one is without sin and our job isn’t to condemn but to love one another and point others to Jesus.
This story isn’t all serious. There are plenty of light-hearted moments. Laughter and joy! Reading this story I felt like I was hanging out with a group of my friends. I have a marvelous time, and I enjoyed the real, honest and meaningful conversations.
I loved reading this story! There isn’t one thing I would change. I was drawn into the lives of these characters, I walked with them through the struggles, I felt like I was part of their lives, and by the end of the story, I wished I could really enjoy a delicious meal at The Pit.
I highly recommend this wonderful book! If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of reading one of Toni Shiloh’s books, then you are truly missing out and need to get one right away!
(I receive complimentary books for review from publishers, publicists, and/or authors, including Netgalley. I am not required to write positive reviews. The opinions I have expressed are my own.)
Toni has done it again. Written a story of hurting characters and God’s grace with just a splash of humor. For those looking to read a book immersed in prayer with characters authentically struggling in a godly way with life, you really need to check out Toni’s books.
WARNING: this review probably won’t be much more than a total gush-fest. You have been warned! 😉
How do I even begin to describe all the things I loved about this book?! Well, for starters it’s TONI SHILOH! She is one of my all-time favorite authors, and I know without a doubt that I would be enthralled with a phone book or appliance owner’s manual if Toni was the one writing it! Like all of Toni’s books these characters grabbed me at page one and wouldn’t let go! I totally fell for Micah last year when he first appeared in the previous book, Finding Love, and I was beyond excited when I heard that book three was his story, I LOVED HIM SO MUCH in this book. He is such a kind, patient, generous, caring, protective, amazing man, and best of all he loves Jesus with everything in him! I’m serious, ladies! Micah Campbell is total swoon-worthy book boyfriend material (But then so are ALL of the heroes Toni writes!)
I instantly liked Belle, my heart broke for all she had been through and I found myself wanting to give her a hug and be her friend! Even though I haven’t gone through anything even remotely similar to what she did, I could really relate to her personal struggle between wanting to dress modestly and not attract attention to herself, but at the same time wanting to wear clothes that were flattering, and pretty, and at times wondering if it is even possible to have both.
The faith story in this book deeply touched my heart and I felt myself growing in my faith right alongside the characters!
I loved everything about this book SOOOO MUCH, and was in a state of pure bliss every moment I was reading it! Getting to visit all my old friends again was so awesome. I love Maple Run, it’s one of my favorite fictional towns and I can’t wait for my next visit!
Overall, I adored every moment of Enduring Love and highly recommend it (as well as all of Toni’s other books!) to each and every fan of Christian contemporary romance. Read it, you won’t be sorry, but be prepared to set aside plenty of free time before you begin because you will be swept away and glued to the page until you turn the final one!
Enduring Love has a spot on my list of favorite reads of 2018, and I am eagerly anticipating Nikki and Shorty’s story!
I received an ebook copy of this book from the author and publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.
4.5 stars
Enduring Love is the third book in Toni Shiloh’s Maple Run series and I was super excited to read it. I have loved the first two books and I knew that I would enjoy this one. Enduring Love features Belle Peterson, a woman who is seeking sanctuary in Maple Run trying to start her life over. Micah Campbell doesn’t understand Belle or why she is so uptight, but the gentle whispers of God are telling him to befriend her. As they start to get to know each other, an undeniable attraction starts to from but when Belle’s past is revealed will Micah be able to endure it?
Okay, first I have to say that I love the characters that Ms. Shiloh writes. They feel so real and relatable. They have gone through some many different things and yet I feel like they could be my friends. And this book is no different. Belle was trying to run from her past and learn to live in a manner that would honor God. She was just trying her best. I loved reading about Belle’s growth as she learned to trust God and to trust Micah. She still had a lot to go through and demons to fight, but she was doing her best to trust God.
Micah was such a sweet guy. At first he didn’t like Belle because she reminded him of his ex, but as he got to know her he started to fall in love. I loved how he reached out to her and tried to protect her, but he did on her terms. However he had to learn to forgive and forget, he had to learn how to give up on his bitterness if he wanted to have a relationship with Belle.
Belle and Micah really fit each other and they helped each other grow. They still had some things to work through but they had God and their family to help them through it. I found Micah’s parents super nice and I thought it was cute how quickly they adopted Belle. It was super fun to see the other characters, and I am so ready for Shorty to get his happy ending.
Enduring Love was great and I would definitely recommend it! I am devouring all of Ms. Shiloh’s books, they are just so good. They have relatable characters, intriguing plots, and a reminder to trust God.
Great!!
Good but you will have to read two more books which I don’t like,to get the ending!
I love Toni’s books. Very interesting writer.
Christianity is too in your face instead of being a natural part of the plot.
So I did not finish book b
It was a good story,
Very plausible story line.
Enduring Love is Toni Shiloh’s third book in the Maple Run series, and having read the first two books, I enjoyed catching up with the characters and meeting new ones. As with all of the author’s books, the characters are well-developed and complex. Belle is a new believer, and her struggle to assimilate her faith with day-to-day living is realistic and endearing. Friends and acquaintances help her without being preachy or using platitudes. The issue from her past (won’t say what – don’t want to give any spoilers!) is serious, ugly, and difficult to overcome, and the author did a good job of addressing it. I could feel Belle’s pain, guilt, and shame. Micah is a “man’s man,” yet sensitive to God and his friends – a man any girl in her right mind could fall for! The story tied up suddenly with an epilogue to explain the resolution, and I would have preferred a fuller handling of the ending. Highly recommended.
I received a copy of this book for free from CelebrateLit Publicity, and a positive review was not required. All opinions expressed are my own.
Another great novel in the Maple Run series! This is book 3 in the series but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. The Maple Run gang, from the Williams family to their friends who are like extended family members, is so full of fun, laughter, and love that I want to become a part of their family! The story is well-written, the plot is easy to follow, the romance is sweet, the characters are lovable and the theme of redemption, grace, and forgiveness is tangible and real.
Micah is truly an awesome hero. Yes, he has his flaws and faults and struggles with forgiveness and impatience but his gentle, loving nature is delightful and his great relationship with his parents and friends is heart-warming. Belle is a sweet, caring, compassionate, and kind woman who’s been thoroughly hurt by a man in her past and trying to live in God’s grace one day at a time. She’s a new believer and her innocence, child-like faith, and excitement in being a new creation are all so refreshing. Their dialogue is cute, funny, and so endearing that I could hear them talking while reading through their conversations.
I can’t wait for book 4! There has to be a story for Shorty and Nikki…..
I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher through Celebrate Lit Tours and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.
I always love returning to Maple Run. This time we see a newcomer to town, Belle. A new Christian, she is trying to start a new life and put the past behind her. It’s easier said than done. She has been hurt but believes it’s her fault. Slowly, she begins to let people in. Micah wanting more but promising to be “just a friend” takes things at her pace. Our friends at The Pit all welcome her as if she were part of the family, even Mrs. Williams.
Belle spends a lot of time in her head, trying to figure out exactly what is expected and acceptable as a new Christian. She shed all the shiny baubles and colors of her past. I liked how the author shows us her growth in this area, Christians can have fun and wear color. My heart ached for Belle as her mother rejects her yet again, but Belle shows strength and does not let it ruin her special day.
I won’t give any spoilers but Micah, he is a swoon-worthy hero. Throughout the book, he and Belle have a wonderful chemistry and banter back and forth but when a hero is needed Micah is there.
I hope we get to visit Maple Run again. I loved the message of God’s Enduring Love for his people, broken as we may be, we are forgiven and loved.
Enduring Love
Belle is starting over after having a bad marriage, goes to a small town to be a nurse at a doctor office. Such an beautiful name and loved that she was a nurse. She meets Micah that also works at the doctor office. I really loved all the friendships she made. Micah also had a failed marriage. The book is about starting over, forgiveness of others and self to overcome things from the past. So cool that Belle loved to tell jokes. I could really feel the emotions of the characters and I was able to visualize the scenes. Very inspiring. I received an complementary copy of the book from Celebrate Lit. I was not required to write an positive review and this is my opinion.
I loved that, despite his growing attraction to Belle, Micah is committed to being her friend first. And what makes this guy even more attractive is his willingness to do as God leads him (even if his human nature fights him all the way).
Belle’s story is one that broke my heart (but is way too common). Her heart is in the right place when she “leaves behind her past.” Her attempts at becoming a new creature in Christ are not always on target, but her new friends are there to listen and give insight when Belle struggles most.
At the center of Enduring Love are those things that make a strong foundation to build a relationship upon—Jesus, family, and friendship.
. It was a delight to return to Maple Valley and catch up with the crew from “The Pit.” Much like in life, there is plenty of laughter, some deep and meaningful conversations, and an attraction that only grows with time and better acquaintance. Toni Shiloh writes characters who are real—flawed but loved—and that is why each of her books resonates well.

I really enjoyed reading this emotional story. One of the hardest things to do is overcome your past. If you allow it, it can cause you to continue on a downward spiral. You can ask for forgiveness, but until you believe you are forgiven the enemy will continue to remind you of it. I’m sure we have all done something that we were ashamed of. Belle believes she is damaged and no one will ever want her. I felt her pain and guilt as she tried to start over in a new town. She has a hard time of letting anyone get close to her and I could relate to her when she said, “Can’t shake the demons from the past.” One thing I have learned over the years is that if we keep looking in the rear view mirror, we will never be able to see what is ahead.
Micah is a wonderful and dare I say handsome man. He is smart and lights up a room with his smile. He has been hurt by someone which makes him a bit weary of trusting others. As he and Belle start to get to know each other, I wondered how long they could hold each other at a distance. I was rooting for them, but I really liked how the author let them each explore how to forgive and believe in themselves. There is a lot of pain in Belle’s eyes and only turning to God will heal her. I loved the scriptures the author used and how each character turned to prayer at their darkest moments.
The story is truly a gift for me. I know what it is like to have parents who don’t love you. I know what it is like to feel unloved and unwanted. Belle committed a sin she thought she could never be forgiven of. Her shame broke my heart as I remember the moment I felt shame for my past mistakes. Thank you for writing a story that brings truth to the surface and characters that search and pray for better relationships. The love of God really shines in this story. I loved how the author used a subject that was difficult and gave us depth and compassion with her words.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
I love the strong faith themes in this author’s reads! Once Christ indwells, our past has been erased, God’s forgiveness is present, and Christians need to show that forgiveness. This book has some great messages on faith and forgiveness. The strong themes of faith and a relationship with Christ are why I read these books. So well done in Enduring Love.
A beautiful story full of love, redemption, forgiveness and more. I enjoy each story I read by author Toni Shiloh. She writes stories with relatable characters and inspiring storylines. With trust in God, the characters learn from each other and grow in their faith. The Maple Pit is a restaurant I would enjoy visiting. Great read. I received a copy of this book from the author and publisher and this is my personal honest opinion. No review was required.
