He rejected her. She loathes him. Now they have to fool everyone and pretend they actually like each other. Tanner Harris has been busy shagging his way through the ladies of east London, but getting caught by the paparazzi buck-naked with his trouser snake in his hands means he’s sowed his last wild oat. Dr. Belle Ryan once thought Tanner Harris was the perfect kind of bearded bad boy she needed … bad boy she needed to relieve a bit of stress after her intense job as a surgical fellow, but an icy cold rejection from London’s sluttiest footballer puts the two at each other’s throats.
Fate and a favour conspire to put Tanner and Belle back in each other’s paths and they’re forced to do a lot more than get along to save face and their careers.
Rage turns to passion and tempers run sizzling hot when they realise they aren’t just falling for each other—they’re jumping head first. And neither have the endurance to keep their hands to themselves.

Love her but leave her wild
I loved this book so very much. I want to inhabit this world where all the men are sensitive and passionate, and the women are strong and fierce. The characters are far from perfect, but that’s what makes them so outstanding. The writing is snappy and fun, the dialogue witty, the sex steamy. But what stands out for me is the heart and emotion, with lines like this; “I need her space to be my space and my breath to be her breath. I need to own her in this moment.” Perfection.
Audio review from December 2018
I totally called this coupling early on in book one! They are actually quite perfect for each other as time rolls on and they get to know each other.
Of course they are similar enough in personality style that they clash epically and then make up epically.
I really enjoyed their brand of crazy as it made for one hell of a story!
The good: Tanner is all the good things. He’s hilarious, passionate, loyal, and sweet. I loved how hard he loved Belle. His relationship with his family, especially with Camden is so endearing. I absolutely loved him.
The Harris family in general is just a family anybody would want to be a part of. Their interactions never fail to put a smile on my face.
Lots of good steamy bits and that wonderful Amy Daws humor is front and center in this book.
Unfortunately I couldn’t connect with Belle. She comes off as incredibly selfish and self centered. I enjoyed her as a career woman, but the way she treats Tanner, from the very beginning just rubbed me the wrong. I just didn’t feel this couple the way I wanted to.
The overall narration was very good, but the female American accent could have been better.
This enemies to lovers, fake relationship that slow burned into a swoony real relationship is EVERYTHING!!! Holy moly, I LOVE Belle & Tanner! Two opposites with an undeniable attraction that you won’t be able to put this book aside. The chemistry and banter between them is angonizingly delicious. Right away I completely fell in love with these two! They were so unique, quirky and REAL. I definitely recommend this book! Charlotte Cole and Will Watt do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character.
I highly recommend this book. Tanner and Belle, both with their own kind of crazy ,inspire and fall for each other along the story. The men are hot, the women are smart. The book is funny and sweet and has touching moments. You will root for all of the characters (well almost all). Enjoy it.
Loved this book, great series
Tanner & Belle are forced into a fake relationship for a few weeks in order to save their reputations. This is because of how Tanner was yet again caught in a compromising situation.
She’s quite intelligent, & he’s a player (in career & in life). He is quite immature (for example, he calls her by her last name instead of her first name, he at times grabs his crotch in public), & at times I was annoyed with Belle for overlooking this & being attracted to him (she could do so much better)…
However, she also seems to be immature at times (especially in how she deals with him), but seems a bit better, although this could be just due to her job, really. This makes the story a bit unrealistic, even annoying at times…
Add in the jealousy, the fighting & making up… I ended up skimming some parts of the story in order to get to the end.
can the main character be more of an ass? I only got about 1/3 through the book before I put it down.
It is quite raunchy at times, so be forewarned.
Love all of her books!
Tanner and Bella
I am still laughing. This book was so funny and such a delight. Great characters, raucous family, and the book rarely left my hands until I finished. You will love this book and the whole series.
This was another great read and I am truly enjoying the Harris brothers.
I enjoyed seeing how these two characters evolved throughout the book.
I definitely recommend this book, this series, and this author.
Live the Harris brothers. But I have to say I wasn’t as big of a fan of this one as Cams book. I like the concept we got presented in cans book about Tanner and Belle but the hating because of wanting each other was nuts. They are definitely each other brand of crazy. Bells father is horrible and I wish karma paid more to him. He got his but not enough in my eyes after all the horrible things he has done and said to his daughter. Hated when belle left tanner at the hospital. I get she was obviously having some sort of panic attack but that was still very hurtful after the scare his family faced. Love the HEA. Crazy as ever. Lol.
This is my third Amy Daws books and I’m hooked on her English football series. Love the Harris Family and I to book three of the series now. This one in particular had me smiling. I’m a big fan of Kristen Ashley and RomCom series I can fall into and this has me hooked. Tanner and Belle were fantastic combo of explosive, quirky and entertaining that you usually find in secondary characters. Ms. Daws did a fantastic job of not making them ridiculous and giving them depth and all the feels. I also love how she makes the women strong in their own merits.
Gah! I loved these two together!! You get a little of there amazing banter in book 1 but you get everything with this book!! Endurance was the second book in Amy’s Harris Brothers Series. They can each be read as a stand-alone, but then you would miss out on hot and sexy soccer players (I mean footballers)!! It kept me fully entertained and craving more!
Tanner was a player on and off the field but his luck was about to run out. Caught locked out of an apartment completely naked by the paparazzi was the last straw. He needed to clean up his act, but how could he do that?
Belle made one mistake, she answered her friend’s phone. Saving Tanner was not supposed to be her job but not only did she save him from the paparazzi, she would have to help save his career. When sparks started to fly, would they be able to save each other before it was too late?
These two were a riot!! I loved how well all the brothers fit in and we got glimpses of everyone! I can’t wait to continue this family’s storyline!
Laugh Out Loud Hilarious!
Oh my gosh this book had me in stitches laughing so hard. I loved it. Tanner is such a comic character. Match him with Belle and explosions occur!
We met both Belle and Tanner in the last book. I was so happy to get their story because we got little tidbits prior.
What starts out as a fake relationship, quickly turns into something real. And these two are such real characters to me. They’re characters that others can look up to. An athlete and a neonatal surgeon. Gosh they’re amazing.
If you’re looking for a laugh out loud book, grab this one. Can be read as a stand-alone, but you get so much more out of it reading Challenge first… but Belle and Tanner… they endure all.
I absolutely adored this book. The banter and undeniable chemistry between Belle and Tanner is amazing.
ENDURANCE is the second book in “The Harris Brothers” series and I believe it can be read as a stand-alone – eh, read book one first because it will be a richer reading experience.
This sports romance is filled with witty banter between the main protagonists and their friends/family. It has hot hot hot sexy times, proves that all is not as it seems on the outside and that there are still good people in this world.
I appreciated that Tanner was proud of Belle’s occupation. Belle is a strong woman who works hard at her career. I liked meeting her mentor and knowing she is supported by women who want to see her succeed. Often times in books women in high profile positions cut each other down but that was not the case in ENDURANCE. Dr. Miller was an interesting character who I would like to know a little bit more about and I felt like her daughter was “Chekhov’s gun”. I got a little distracted by that whole story line.
The creative names given to males bits and pieces made me chuckle and for as cute and sassy as this story is, it also has a sensitive undertone about the different lives people lead.
I am enjoying this series and look forward to the next. I recommend Amy Daws and The Harris Brothers.
Tanner and Belle are a hilarious couple and I so loved reading about how they come together! I think they have to be my favorite!
Omg..I’m in LURVE
Panty-melting, channel-moistening, lady-boner springing LOVE
I’m besotted, under the spell of Harris Brothers. One swoon-worthy handsome fella after another and they can make a girl go crazy with their sexy smirk & horizontal aerobics!!
The first scene and I laughed out so loud, damn near peed in my pants
Only Tanner..*smh* LMAO….Belle Ryan is the wonder woman to the rescue his Mooney Ass and his heart too.
“Tanner Harris is a knobhead spunk bubble who runs around like a dog with two dicks. And my hatred toward him is not because he’s rejected me.
he’s been sleeping around like he’s got a terminal disease and he’s trying to live out his last days permanently buried inside the Republic of Labia.”
She is a super doctor, saving babies but she has her own baggage of familial expectations to struggle with. Despite any support, she works hard and shines and all her light is her own!! Self made, self learned and self reliant she’s Independant and ballsy
he’s a handsome footballer, more famous for getting balls in trouble off the field than kicking ball on the field. Paparazzi’s bad boy dream come true he’s constantly under spotlight and he returns the favor by turning the tables on them.
“She’s a witch. A temptress. She’s got me completely under her chocolatey, crazy chick spell and I’m entranced.”
Belle helps him in their fake dumb charade but somewhere, somehow, the true feelings get Tangled.
The sexual chemistry just singes the pages, makes hearts race and breath-a-panting…Omg the hot sex in the book gave me heart palpitations!. Good thing I was in a the doctors waiting room..although my moist panties was a whole another by-product problem
Im soooooooo loving this series, I’m not stopping till I claim ALL her men
Amy is so smart with her words, she’s kept the story taut as a whip, her characters are multi- dimensional and the interactions and tete-a-tete is very entertaining.
“First, and most important, is how they make you feel about yourself. Are they good to you? Do they accept you for your flaws? See the best in you? The second is how they feel about themselves. Do they take pride in what they do? Do they strive to become more? Do they love themselves? And the third tier is…” “Do you inspire each other?”
But right at half point, I saw a very scared, vulnerable side of Tanner. He’s a victim of change. Life all around him is spinning fast, his game is changing, his brothers are changing, his life is changing and he’s like a small child trying to hold onto everything with both hands. Not only was it poignant it was pretty adorable. He wants things back to the way they were but time moves in one direction and growth is part of life, only Tanner didn’t get the memo and this confuses and scares him.
“I need to get back to being the Tanner Harris I used to be. Light. Carefree. The Tanner Harris that makes sense to me. Whatever is happening around me right now doesn’t make sense”.
Great thing Amy gave him a very smart, brave and sound minded girl to help him in life, game and love. Beautiful couple who may not be perfect, but they’re perfect for each other!!
“Tanner Harris and I are like oil and water in so many ways. But if you shake us up really hard, we bubble and swirl and mix and mingle. We dance.”
Onto the next brother but I’m REAAALLLY dying to read about Gareth and Vi..
5 stars for Endurance of Hearts
