There are four stand-alone books in this series:
Signed — Brett’s Book
Endorsed — Jack’s Book
Contracted — Max’s Book
Negotiated — Scarlett’s Novellamore
I’m going to keep this short because I’m afraid to reveal too much. I absolutely loved this story. It was the perfect kind of second chance romance that I love to read. It was charming, extra steamy, full of sincere emotions, genuine characters, and a general sense of authenticity. I was able to put myself in each of their shoes and the way the author led me down this road had me easily falling in love with both Jack and Samantha. While I did judge Samantha for her decisions, I didn’t hate her for them. And while Jack’s reaction to learning some truths could be seen as a bit harsh, I couldn’t fault him because I’d probably act even worse if I found myself in the same situation. These characters showed their humanity through their vulnerability and mistakes, which made them irresistible. Getting to see the old gang again and to see them happy was just icing on the cake.
Do you have a writer or two you get hooked by their writing and stories from the get go? We have a few and Marni Mann is one of them. She can weave such a entertaining tale that tugs at your heartstrings, has you swoon and just fall in love with the story and characters. Some of her tales are dark like monster, some erotic like the seductive shadows series while others you just are seduced by the male character and the beard action like Derek in the Unblocked series. Marni started the series Endorsed is in with Signed so we are introduced to Jack there. It was a wonderful tale of love and starting anew. In Endorsed we are given Jack’s love story and you will swoon over him.
We begin this deluscious tale with Jack just starting his career and signing Samantha Cole’s brother. In this time he meets Samantha and they have a steamy moment. A moment that neither will forget. Jack loses himself in this moment but also knows that if he continues the relationship, he may lose it all and when you are starting your career this type of unforgettable moment will blackball you. So he is a total douche and blows her off. Mind you it isn’t an excuse for Samantha to do what she does but it makes it more understandable.
Years go by and Jack matures and so does Samantha. He becomes more successful in his career and opens an agency with his best friends. They are doing great and Jack has only focused on his career but has never forgotten that one night with Samantha. Now Samantha’s brother is at a pinnacle in his career and she can’t avoid being there to support him. She fears seeing Jack and when they do run into each other the tension and chemistry is like a living breathing entity. Marni has you truly feel that elephant in the room. Samantha tries to act unaffected and angry but she doesn’t pull it off well and Jack he just has everything rush back to him.
This is where the fun really begins. Marni brings us down a road that is engaging, endearing, sexy, swoony, entertaining and heartwarming. Now Jack doesn’t have it easy with Samantha. She is hurt and angry so she does lash out and is wary with Jack after all he did was a douchecanoe to her all those years ago. But she is now a successful interior designer and has other responsibilities. What I loved here is that the tale gets a twist with her being Brett and Jame’s interior designer for when things get sticky, James is in a rock and hard place.
So we get some sassy banter between Samantha and Jack as he tries to get her to date him. We see him want to get to know her. She is very wary but does relent and we get some sweet times. You can feel the chemistry in the air and see that jack wants more than just good times. As they get to know one another, we see the romantic and swoony side to Jack. We also see Samantha start to feel uneasy. She is a great character and great for Jack but she does carry secrets. When Jack decides to make things open, he does a noble gesture and goes to her brother this is where secret one comes out. And we see the swoony side of Jack. He realizes that he wants Samantha in his life and adjusts his way of thinking of how he will get to know her more. Samantha relaxes but is not out of the woods. Again we get some very romantic and sexy moments but there is still a secret out there and it is a gamechanger. When it comes out, Jack has a reaction that you would expect-he lashes out from his anger. Samantha feels guilty and is feeling like things are lost. Only Jack’s friends help him gain perspective and once again we get the swoony side of jack.. The man just has you melt. From here we see him and Samantha explore their feelings in a more open fashion. They work together for him to get to know Samantha’s daughter and you just fall in love with Jack more. That man is so understanding and sweet and Samantha’s daughter wraps him around her finger. The ending will have you swoon, melt into a pile of goo and just love jack even more for to him that little girl is the best endorsement he will ever get.
The story is beautifully written and just has you from the beginning and you won’t want to put it down. Jack has you fall in love with him and his sweet, kind side. Samantha has you like her sassy side but also you love how she was able to become something despite the circumstances. Their love story is heartwarming and swoony. Marni has you just so engaged in their tale you reach the end and want more. More of Jack and Samantha and their friends.
This story was just ok for me. I found it extremely frustrating, especially when Samantha wouldn’t just tell Jack the truth. I understand that he hurt her but he deserved the truth. Jack was self centered throughout most of this story. He was awful with the way he pushed her away but she should’ve tried harder to get him to listen to her. For some reason I just could not get past any of this. This could’ve been a sweet story if there wasn’t a secret between them, and that so many years went by before they reunited.
This is the second book in this series of stand alone books. I really liked this one but also made me want to knock out Samantha at times. I really liked Jack and of course the secondary characters that we met in the first book. So we know that when they were younger they had a weekend together and they connected but then Jack breaks things off for numerous reasons, the main one being she is her clients little sister. The way he went about it wasn’t the best and could have saved a lot of heart and and issues they have when they meet again 8 years later.
Samantha has a huge secret and everything eventually comes out. I didn’t agree with what and why she did it.
There was a lot of emotion in this book. And plenty of laughs. I look forward to more books by Marni.
Oh wow! I couldn’t get enough of Jack, like at all! Samantha won me over in the first chapter! Great characters (again!) and I loved how the chemistry wasn’t just great between the two main ones but all the characters through the book!
I did enjoy this story and how it all played out. I am on a bit of a secret baby book addiction at the moment.
OhMyBob!!!
Ok I generally like a good book boyfriend. But Jack is NOT a book boyfriend. I only say this b/c he is not meant for us readers. He is meant for Samantha and only Samantha. I can not imagine him with anyone else.
Why I thought I could start a Marni Mann book at night and not want to binge read is beyond me. I don’t think I have ever been able to put one of her books down once I start. I need to finish it. This was no exception. I started at 10:30pm and was up til almost 5am reading. Oyi
OMG. I loved this book. It hit me in all the feels. Two people who really like each other and wanted each other but timing was bad but then eight years later they see each other again. The attraction and everything is still there but so is the hurt and some secrets that can tear them apart. Can they get past the past and move on in the future that they wanted all along? So so good!!!!
What a cute, romantic, love story. Marni is one of my favorite authors and even though I love her dark books, this one was so enjoyable. I love Jack and Samantha together. Anna was so freaking funny in it too. Both jack and Sam were just perfect from the start. I’m so glad it ended the way it did because it was one of the sweetest endings ever! Can’t wait to read more from this series.
I love this crew. I fell in love with these friends in Signed and I can’t even tell you how much farther I’ve fallen. They are incredible, wonderful, and the kind of friends everyone needs. Especially in this time of Jack’s life…
The One who got away…or more accurately was shoved away and then avoided you at all costs. While it’s true their chemistry is off the charts, these two have a lot to get off their chests. Past and present collide in a way that makes a tackle on the football field look like a love tap.
Enjoy the fans, the accolades, even the trip to the Super Bowl because this trip doesn’t come with out some bumps in the road.
Endorsed is the biggest deal of his life…and he is a closer.

Another instalment of a series where it’s like falling back in with old friends that I didn’t realise I’d missed.
Jack and Samantha met when Jack signed her brother as his first big client. They were attracted to each other but after a short fling went their separate ways. Eight years later when they meet up again Samantha is thrown, the connection and chemistry is still present. No one knew about them and she is hiding something from everyone.
These two are perfect for each other despite everything that is against them. The passion is palpable which makes for some seriously hot scenes. There is plenty of drama but the secrets are pivotal for some of the more tender moments too.
Loved catching up with the rest of the guys in this fab series.

Enjoyed it!! This book had it all; drama, suspense, sexy times, and a little bit of angst. I had so much fun reading it, I couldn’t put it down.
Jack and Samantha were explosive together! The chemistry and the steam was off the charts.Bound together by a life changing secret, this couple’s story was fun to read about.
I can’t wait to read more of this author’s titles!
No Spoilers -3.7
I am probably in the minority here
I was looking forward to reading Jack’s story and overall it was a good read – steamy – suspenseful – some OMG moments – overall an enjoyable read – just did not quite hit the mark for me
I just did not feel the romantic connection that glued these two together – oh sexually they were off the charts
Samantha – I liked her character- she is strong with emotional moments of weakness (OMG she is human) -she is intelligent and pretty strong willed – even if life did not play out as every little girl dreams – I also understood how easy it was for her to fall right back into the arms of her first love
Jack – not sure where to start with him, he is a bit egotistical but he softens later in the story
A sweet, sexy and unputdownable romance that’ll leave yearning for more…
I absolutely loved Signed, Brett and James were just freaking delicious. So, obviously I just had to get involved with Endorsed. I’m going to be honest and say that I was so excited for this book. Like, super duper excited and it thrills me that all the anticipation was worth it. I devoured this book. I didn’t just get involved, I went in head first and lathered myself in this story. Just thinking about it fills me with butterflies and jitterbugs and makes me so excited.
Plot wise this book isn’t the most original, but there is something so unique about the characters that in turn they make the story itself unique. The way in which Marni has tied the sports element to the story is very clever and I liked that although the characters themselves aren’t sportspeople, that the gave itself is there. You know the devil really is in the detail and Ms. Mann has it ALL covered. From the writing to the development of both the plot and characters this book is just faultless and it speaks volumes for Marni’s talent. I just loved, love, LOVED this book. I read it in one sitting and I could not get through it fast enough in terms of how into it I got. I wish that I hadn’t gone through it so quick because I really never wanted it to end.
Although I already loved Jack from what I’d seen of him in Signed, I just could not get enough of him in this book. Oh dear God, that man is just a dream. So yeah, he is “naughty” and he is very tactile, however there are certain parts of the story where he could’ve become an absolute knob and acted more like his shoe size rather than his age, and it surprised the hell out of me that he was a man about things. I loved that he took responsibility, that he was an adult. For me that’s what made him a real hands down, no competition hero. Likewise Samantha I loved. Yes, there were certain aspects of her actions that left me wondering why she didn’t try harder or go further, but again she acted and rationalised like any other girl her age would. The pair of them together are just com-freaking-bustible and that’s putting it mildly. I honestly just love them so very much. They are one of my favourite book couples for sure!
For me this was just another hit. Once I finished it I was so happy and excited. I was grinning from ear to ear. AND, I was itching for more. I can’t wait for Scarlett’s and Max’s books. Like, I am on tenterhooks here! For me this series is a winner winner chicken dinner! Give me more!
This is the first book I read by Marni Mann. It was entertaining to read but it was predictable and I knew what the plot twist was as soon as all the characters were introduced. For the sake of not spoiling anything that’s as much as I’ll say about that. It was a hot and sexy read and I enjoyed the characters of Jack and Samantha but it didn’t interest me enough for me to read the first book of the series. If you’re looking for a quick read with a slight plot twist and lots of sexy time then this is the book for you.

Eight years have passed since Jack first met Samantha, and in that eight years she has always held a special place in his life, she was the one he let get away. Knowing now what he knew then he wished he handled things with her differently, but they were young, and the things that seemed important then, weren’t quite as important now that his older, much wiser eyes, looked back on them. But he plans to remedy that, make amends with her, and possibly find a way to convince her to take another shot at what they discovered back then. There is still one big, muscled bound, issue standing in there way though, his client and her brother, but Jack is certain he can convince him to accept their relationship. But, while Samantha agrees to give them another shot, she also comes baring a secret, one that could ultimately put a huge rift between them, and one he may not be able to forgive her for…
Within the pages of Endorsed readers will find a beautiful forbidden romance story brimming with passion, secrets, and heartfelt emotion that is sure to squeeze their hearts and leave them shedding a few happy tears. This first time read has been one of my favorite new author introductions this year, I am a huge sports romance fan, and I have to say this wonderfully crafted story spoke volumes to me, enough that it left me very anxious to get my hands on more of her work. The story line was plausible, had a real feel to it, and the characters were perfectly crafted and well suited for one another… and had some amazing chemistry that spawned some knee weakening scenes that left me saying “oh my!!” I think it is safe to say readers will absolutely love this newest offering from Ms. Mann, it will give them everything they are looking for, and SO much more!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and voluntarily read and reviewed.
Endorsed by Marni Mann is a standalone contemporary romance told in the same universe as Signed as is just as sexy and angst ridden, albeit with a different trope. Second chance romance/off-limits sister is the direction this book took and it took it and ran – like the wind. The blending of story-telling between Jack & Samantha’s past and their present was masterful. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. Both characters are fabulous and fabulously flawed. The story was another confirmation of why after having read only one book from this author previously she is now on my must-0read authors list! Enjoy!
Endorsed in the second in a series of connected standalones by Marni Mann. It’s not necessary to have read Signed first, but it would give a little added bonus to this storyline as characters from Signed pop up here allowing Brett and James continue their own story in a small way. Other partners Max and Scarlett have some time too.
Endorsed is about Jack Hunt, one quarter of the partners that make up The Agency, a mixed media relations company that has clients from the world of film, music and sport. Jack met Samantha Cole eight years ago when he signed her brother, Shawn as one of his first clients.
They hit it off and spent three days together during the draft for the NFL which Shawn is taking part in. One hot night is all they have together before Jack leaves Samantha behind in his hotel bed and shortly after, tells her it’s best if they keep things professional.
Samantha is shocked by Jack’s answer and when she really needs his to talk to her he tells her she ‘can never be more than my client’s little sister’.
Samantha has to face facts. Jack didn’t want her.
Eight years later they meet again after Shawn’s team, the Titans, makes it to the Super Bowl. Jack is swamped by desire and wants to pick up where they left off. Samantha is daunted by who she feels about him. The crazy chemistry and attraction is still there, her heart hasn’t forgotten him, but her head hasn’t either. He hurt her… badly. Broke her in ways he doesn’t even know about and now Samantha has to find a way to tell him if she wants to allow him back into her life.
This was a hot, sexy fast-paced story with plenty of angst and sexy times. I really loved both characters, each had made mistakes and were willing to stand up and finally face them. But, Jack’s reaction to Samantha’s news, is harsh to say the least. I kinda didn’t like him then… and Samantha just let him run over her feelings. She needed a bit of backbone in that scene. Yeah, she felt guilty, but, Jack was at fault too, she should have taken him to task for that.
Will they be able to get back what they once had?
Or will Jack just walk away like he did last time.
Find out in Endorsed, today.
This would have been 5 stars but had to remove half for Jack’s bad attitude over the revelation.
Yes!! Devilishly dirty and sinfully delicious I’m in lust with Jack Hunt!
He’s young, hot, on top of his game and lusting after his client’s sister. He thinks he has it all under control!!
When he first met Samantha, he never imagined what could he could be facing. Eight years later the hot hunk is brought to his knees when he see Samantha.
Fasten your seat belts, sit in a quiet corner and enjoy this sensual fun read!!
The chemistry and banter between Jack and Samantha is HOT, sharp as funny. The characters are deliciously developed and the story flows easily.
The author has written a steamy, edgy read that gets you glued to the pages and maybe you’re seat if you know whatta I mean!!
Find out if this is a second chance romance or something different altogether.
Endorsed was a fast sweet second chance novel. This was Jack and Samantha’s story, They had such intense chemistry and even after being separate for eight years these two reconnected and sparks flew.
The secondary characters were from the previous novel and they all added balance and support to the main characters. I loved them.
There were steamy scenes and a slight plot twist. Secrets were revealed but it all lead to a HEA ending. This was a quick but enjoyable read.
