After the heart breaking end to Undying Love I was more than excited to read another story where Ryan gets the chance for a happy ending. After the death of Allee he wrote a book about their story. He fell into a serious depression.
Willow was a dancer in a ballet. She fell into some very unhealthy habits to keep herself relevant in her job. Plus she caught the man she was in a relationship with having sex with another ballerina…. In her dressing room. Something that got her through tough nights by reading a love story that captured her heart. Undying Love.
Ryan is a regular customer at her father’s deli. When she asks him, Ryan has no problem signing her copy of his book. He decides to start trying for a relationship with her. Everywhere he turns he sees Allee cheering him on, telling him that it is time for him to move on. He has a hard time getting rid of the guilt that he feels. The struggle for them to have a relationship seems to be all on him, but then her past comes back to disrupt them.
This is a fantastic story that had me feeling very serious emotions from the very beginning. These are 2 people that work their way through a lot of issues in their past to work at being together. Definitely a wonderful second chance romance!
True love is a once in a lifetime thing, right? New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Nelle L’Amour shows it’s possible to get a second chance at true love in the much-anticipated sequel Endless Love. Please do not read any further if you have not read book one as the plot for this book reveals a major spoiler for Undying Love.
Ryan Madewell is grief stricken after the loss of what he considers the love of his life. No one can come close to making him feel what he did for Allee. Even after five years he is still searching for someone to help him heal. Then he meets Willow Rosenthal, a former ballerina that makes him feel things he thought had died with Allee. Their romance is filled with fiery passion that makes him feel alive again. But just when he thinks he may get a second shot with love, Willow’s demons surface. He will need to fight for her or risk losing his second chance at love.
Ryan deserved to find his happy ever after. I know that there are going to be some people who may think that Allee is his one and that he shouldn’t have found someone to ‘replace’ her, it is what we have come to expect from romances. You get one true love and that’s it. But this books steps away from that and gives us a real to life journey of a man who will never love someone like he did his first love. But that doesn’t mean he can’t love again. I loved getting to see Ryan move past his grief and find life and happiness again.
After I read the first book I suggested having tissues at hand, while I didn’t shed tears this time, because let’s face it as sad as parts of this book are they cannot compete with Ryan and Allee’s story in book one, I think some of you will want to go ahead and keep that box close.
Absolutely amazing and well written. Ryan and Willow’s love fulfilled every one of this romantic’s check list. I cannot wait to read more from Nelle in the future. FOUR stars.
