The first time I saw Anya I was shirtless and holding an axe.It was June, the weather balmy and Anya was beautiful, but that didn’t matter because I was drowning in my own grief.Anya wasn’t meant to be my saviour.I wasn’t meant to be hers.A perfect summer, an idyllic island, a stream of stolen nights. All bandaids on an open wound. If we were going to live again, she deserved more than the … deserved more than the fractured shards of the broken creature I’d become.
She deserved love.
Endless Blue Seas is a standalone summer romance, guaranteed to melt your heart and other items.

Annie Dyer writes a tale of trauma, loss, grieving, and healing. Two scarred souls on a Welsh island find their way through the darkness to the light on the other side. Can someone else heal you, or must you heal yourself? A gorgeous book with the scenery to match. Loved it!
Annie Dyer, you are a great writer! This book is great; it shows how grief is and how people deal with it. Anya and Gabe’s story is so emotional, you see a lot of grief and love in it. I felt a connection with the emotions these characters felt since I’m going throw some grief myself. I had to stop a few times and take a break from it because of my emotions, but other than that I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!
The moment I read the synopsis for this book I knew it was going to tug at my heart, and I was not wrong.
Endless Blue Seas follows Anya and Gabe, who have both experienced tragedies that resulted in the deaths of people close to them. Both have set out to heal in a small seaside town. During the course of a summer the two form a bond and friendship over their shared experiences with grief that turns into a romantic relationship.
Annie Dyer has created a beautiful story of grief, love and moving forward with life. It was fantastically written and while I may have felt sadness for the past experiences of the main characters, I closed the book feeling hopeful of their future. Its a great summer read.
I can’t recommend this book highly enough. Annie Dyer has taken her writing to a different level with this poignant exploration of grief and redemption. Gabe and Anya are both suffering the mental and physical effects of tragedy, trying to make sense of the senseless, and this story beautifully describes how they find a way forward, both in their own minds and through each other. It all adds up to a perfect summer read – and if you haven’t been to Anglesey off the coast of Wales, you’ll want to after this!
Anya and Gabe are relatable…living life through upsets and tragedy and showing how you can persevere even when life throws you some pretty crummy curves.
Island life and the small community setting definitely makes you yearn for a slower pace and the comfort that community brings to healing wounds and being surrounded in the familiar.
Still lots of steamy bits and wit and banter to keep you uplifted and looking forward to more. The saucy best friend and her wild ways adds some spice for the next chapter.
Just waiting for a collab with Kate Canterbary with a cross over series featuring Erin and maybe Catrin and of course the Walsh’s to help Gabe out. And Will could help out the Callaghan crew with security stuff. Sooo many opportunities and none of the books should be missed. It’s better than any tv show…forget This is Us and read instead.
Anya and Gabe are two broken spirits who have experienced unbearable losses. Gabe is an architect and arts and has come to the island to escape his past and the memories of the horrible accident that killed his life long friend and to let his own injured body heal. Anya is an a native of the island who left to teach in London she is retuning after one of her students families were murdered by the father after a teachers conference. She has come home to heal and to grieve the loss of her favorite aunt. Gabe and Anya meet and form a unique bond as they both are broken and recognize the same undeniable feelings of loss and separation. There story begins when they meet for the second time at Anya’s family’s Inn. This is a story so poignantly told by Annie. It’s a story of death, heartbreak, loneliness, grief, blame, guilt as two broken souls find undeniable chemistry and love as these two find refuge in a summer fling or will it be more. This story is perfectly written, wickedly awesome I could not put it down as Anya deals with her losses and As she is reading her deceased aunt’s diaries and comes to grip with her own feelings. Anya is helping Gabe heal on her journey. I five star plus read as Annie pulled everyone of my heartstrings. Bravo Annie…a book I will never forget….
Annie Dyer has a true gift for story telling. This story to me is so different from her other work but in the best way.
She gives you two characters that have been broken by tragedy and learn that together they work but they still need to find the healing inside themselves to be together.
They are on borrowed time so it’s hard to tell whether love will be found with each other and made to work!
I loved Anya and Gabe’s story and what it communicates to us the readers.
Both heartbreaking and wonderful.
A journey through pain and depression for two people who find a kindred spirit in each other. I enjoyed both having my heart broken and having it mended.
A very real, honest and human story.
Endless Blue Seas by Annie Dyer is not your typical summer romance. It is a layered, multi-faceted book about love, loss, grief and finding yourself again after tragedy strikes. Set against the idyllic and healing backdrop of a small picturesque island, Anya and Gabe both seek refuge from the demons in their past. Their story is sweet, sexy, but also painful and heartbreaking. We are also treated to a secondary love story wrought with mystery and poignantly told. If you are looking for a read that will sweep you away like the tide, then grab Endless Blue Seas. You will not be disappointed.
This is such a beautiful & emotional book, dealing with loss & love. There were times when my heart broke for the characters after reading what each was dealing with but was so happy when they healed. Annie did a great job with both Anya & Gabe, who were each battling different losses and had to work through their emotions. Neither was in a place for a new relationship but both needed each other to heal. I did cry some when reading this book as I was moved to tears but so worth it. I will definitely be reading this book again.
This is a heart tugging, tear jerking, and unrivaled summer romance story. It is written so eloquently that you will feel the breeze on your face, the sand on your toes, and picture the boats out at sea. You will want to get lost in Gabe and Anya’s story. The story has another mystery and second love story interwoven in its chapters that brings an added layer of mystery. Love letters and artistry bring two broken souls together to heal. Gabe and Anya’s relationship is sweet and very passionate. The book most definitely has plenty of spice with a hero who has just the right mix of dirty and sweet. While the heroine is sweet, sassy and sexy.
Gabe has come to the little town by the sea to escape. He blames himself for the accident and can’t face going back to his old life as a successful architect. Blinded by pain, he is unable to move forward with his life until Anya arrives, with all her sass and her own sorrow. When Gabe sees Anya, his mind and body awaken and he wants to reach out and help to heal her pain.
This is a story that everyone can relate too because everyone has been through tragedy at some point in life. The book brings joy and hope as you read through it, because it proves that love really does chase away the darkness; and the light brings hope and new beginnings. Most especially I loved that the book was about being broken and how love can help heal anything.
