This was a very enjoyable book to read if you like suspense. The characters were very good.
A good read for sure
After downloading this book, I wondered if I’d ever read it. Once I finished the first page, I was drawn into the rugged beauty of the Utah desert, the passion to save an endangered species, and the hunt to save a child’s life. Compelling!
Good read for lovers of the wild and the animals that belong in it. Interesting story that took this reader on a journey thru some of nature’s dangerous beauty. The characters needed a little more depth.
Good read.
Loved this book. Kept you guessing which character read it, couldn’t wait for the bad guy to be caught!
Great book good ending
If you like animal stories, this one should be on your list. Gutsy heroine, also.
Love the series, love this book. Engrossing as the characters develope. The story line exposes the conflict in protecting species, while concerns for safety and ranch. It does a good job of presenting both sides of the issue.
Great private eye story. Couldn’t put it down.
Can’t wait to continue the series!
So close to true what happens to endangered species.

It was a good read! A different kind of story…I liked it!!!
A thought provoking story about the things that can happen in the near wilderness when nature, animals, and people are involved. I will definitely look for more stories from Pamela Beason.
Likable characters, and a good story.
Excellent read!
Plenty of action. Not as realistic or as well written as I would like.
I liked the basic story line of this book and I did like the main character, Sam. However, the author included too many other peripheral characters who had vignette storylines that added really nothing to the main story and only resulted in confusion when trying to remember who these people were. Most of these characters could have been eliminated all together without there being any detriment to the story. There were also pieces of the storyline that were left dangling and her descriptions of places in the park were somewhat confusing.
Strong, intelligent, independent heroine.
