I thought I knew what Hell was like.I thought I had been living it all these years on Earth—abandoned, forgotten, and left with a dangerous secret that not only made me the Se7en’s #1 target but also turned me into a deadly weapon, a threat to every human in my path.I was wrong. In order to survive Lucifer’s plans for me, and his unquenchable thirst for more power, I have to surrender my humanity. … surrender my humanity. I have to lose a part of myself in order to find my way back to him.
Back to the demon who saved me, only to break me.
Back to Legion.
But even supreme evil has its limits, and the real foes never show their devastatingly beautiful faces.
Forget fire and brimstone. They aren’t shit compared to what’s coming.
Centuries-old bonds will be broken. Unlikely alliances will be forged. And innocent blood will be spilled. Blood that will stain my hands for the rest of my mortal days.
I thought I knew what Hell was like.
I was wrong.
Hell is coming.
Hell is just the beginning.

I absolutely loved this! Its differeny from what ive read by this author but it was great!
A girl who sees herself as an ugly duckling, becomes a beautiful swan. But what happens when you get what you thought you wanted?
And a love triangle to boot!
Without posting any spoilers I’m rooting for Wes!
It’s definitely a must read and i cant wait til the next book comes out!
Seriously
I love this series so much.
Eden, Legion, Lucifer, the Se7en.
The new cast of characters introduced in this one. There is so much going on, leaving me mercilessly twisting in the wind. I absolutely love this.
Another can’t-put-it-down, I-need-to-know-what-happens-next installment in the Se7en Sinners series! I didn’t love this quite as much as the first one (because Eden was a tad too wishy-washy about stuff) but it definitely sunk it’s talons in me & never let me go.
I couldn’t believe all the surprises & secrets that were revealed in this book. New creatures, new deals, new friendships, new confessions… I think I might be suffering from a little information overload at this point but hopefully some of the questions will be answered soon (at least a couple, pretty please)!
On to the next book in the series, Wicked Ruin. I’m ready for Legion to unleash his beast, for Eden to make some good decisions & to see what Nikolai has up his sleeve!
Ok so I binge read this book and finished at 1am. I could not put it down. SL Jennings you have ruined me. I don’t know which way is up?? I don’t know who I hate?? Who I love?? I don’t know anything. Gah!!! Who would have thought an author could make me like Lucifer! Wow! Major Cliffhanger but so worth it. Nikolai is baaaaaack. Definitely recommend this book and can wait for book 3
“And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. ”
Wow. This one was something I did not expect. Eden has taken Lucifer’s hand and is now in hell. There she meets Niko. Niko is going to help her get through hell. Eden has much to face going up against the devil at his own game.
“Beauty is a distraction-a diversion-from the ugliness pulsing within these walls. ”
I like that even though Eden goes through challenges she never gets rid of her sense of humor.
“No offense to Ben- he’s nice. Which is exactly the problem. I don’t do nice. Or easy. Or comfortable. Probably explains my current predicament, but at least I’m consistent.
“Excuse me, but- Johnny baby, is it?-yeah, I know that steroids can shrink your balls, but I wasn’t aware that they actually turned people into dicks. Quick, Snookie Barbie! Stuff him in your mouth before the little fella gets away!””
At first I wasn’t sure I was going to make through some parts of the book. I actually got queasy but I understand what the author did. I mean it is the devil she is writing about so she had to go to an extreme.
While Eden gets preached to she knows how to keep it real. This is what I like about her. She doesn’t hid the ugly truth when it comes down to hit.
“Crime in Chicago is out of control. And that’s not the work of seven rogue demons. Humans destroyed this city. Humans are fighting and killing and hurting each other every day all over the world. Maybe it’s time we take ownership of that.”
L… What can I say about L but he is an alpha demon that I liked and trying not to love but It’s hard.
“Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?”
“My name is Legion,” he replied, “For we are many.”
He is power. He is pain. He. Is. Legion. And after centuries of slumber, the beast has just been awakened.”
This man is ready to get his love back even if it means battling Lucifer. While a bigger opponent is revealed at the end that is more dangerous than Lucifer I can’t help but fall in love with L.
On to the next book. Wonder if it will be the final one or if there is more to this series.
So End of Eden (Se7en Sinners, #2) starts where Born Sinner leaves off and I was gagging to start this after the shocking conclusion to book one.
So Eden is In hell with Lucifer and feeling betrayed her heart broken from the revelations of the previous book.
And Lucifer is quite prepared to use this to his advantage.
here in hell, he reigns supreme and Eden is struggling to contain her revulsion at the antics prevalent in the underworld.
While at the same time feeling a sick pull and attraction to this dark depraved world and its wicked master.
He is the epitome of everything I hate and want, all dressed up in a tuxedo that looks like it was stitched, piece by sumptuous piece, onto his gorgeous frame.
.
Lucifer wants Eden as his bride and baby mama and her only friend and confidant at this time is Nikolai Skotos who while playing his role of debauched wingman to Lucifer is also helping Eden at the risk of his own safety.
Legion is coming to rescue Eden of that there is no doubt, but she herself seems the only one confused and mistrustful of this fact that is set in concrete.
And come he does, in dramatic style swooping in to rescue his love, what a hero, be still my beating heart.
And this is where I struggled slightly, I found Eden’s constant yo-yoing in her affections and self-sabotaging behaviour annoying and immature and quite frankly at times a bit ungrateful.
This slightly affected my overall enjoyment here.
As I just felt there was no need for Edens constant angst and she was treating Legion a tad unfairly.
Poor Legion was so confused, unsure what he had done wrong and no matter how much he reassured Eden it was her he wanted, she said one thing but ultimately thought another.
“Eden, you have to believe that my feelings for you have nothing to do with Adriel. My interest in you existed long before I even knew she inhabited your body. And what grew between us from that point on was born from something much greater than anything I could have ever imagined. You did something that your mortal world has failed to for centuries: you surprised me. And just that simple, human act has invoked emotions that had lain dormant since my fall from grace. What this is…what we are…it’s bigger than the both of us, firecracker. That is why I claimed you.”
“You’re more, Eden. You’re everything I’ve been searching for—fighting for. You’re my heaven.”
“I didn’t fall from Heaven for Adriel. I fell because of her. But I would fall…for you. If I had to do it all again, I would fall for you, Eden.”
So I just really felt for Legion here and wanted him to get the girl in “End of Eden” L really wears his heart on his sleeve and it’s beautiful to behold.
But with Eden keeping secrets and basically on a different page altogether things were bound to come to a head and I just felt for him like massively.
“End of Eden” finishes again on a big cliffhanger and I was so glad I could just pick up the next instalment and carry on reading.
Though I struggled at times here with Edens personality this was still by far an excellent engrossing experience.
This is such an imaginative world that is so easy to get lost in and I am so looking forward to the next book in this thrilling saga
I read all kinds of books and romance is pretty much my favorite genre but I would consider PNR to be my guilty pleasure. It’s just so much more fun to read.
I couldn’t get enough of Lucifer. I know he is the bad guy and I was probably suppose to hate him but I LOVE VILLAINS. I will always enjoy them the most from any book. #teamvillain
The Se7en, the Alliance, Legion, Lucifer…Everyone wants something. I loved that even though the characters are shown as tough and fierce, we do get to see them vulnerable. That was a nice touch. The story line was well done and this picks up where book 1 left off. I couldn’t put this down. I did have to go back and re read Born Sinner but these are so enjoyable that it wasn’t a hardship. I enjoyed doing it. I did think the story line couldn’t of moved a bit faster but thats just my 2 cents. Other then that it was all good!
If you are a PNR lover then I highly recommend these books. Get ready for the third one! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
