#1 New York Times bestselling author David Baldacci returns with his most breathtaking thriller yet Will Robie and Jessica Reel are two of the most lethal people alive. They’re the ones the government calls in when the utmost secrecy is required to take out those who plot violence and mass destruction against the United States. And through every mission, one man has always had their backs: their … always had their backs: their handler, code-named Blue Man.
But now, Blue Man is missing.
Last seen in rural Colorado, Blue Man had taken a rare vacation to go fly fishing in his hometown when he disappeared off the grid. With no communications since, the team can’t help but fear the worst.
Sent to investigate, Robie and Reel arrive in the small town of Grand to discover that it has its own share of problems. A stagnant local economy and a woefully understaffed police force have made this small community a magnet for crime, drugs, and a growing number of militant fringe groups.
But lying in wait in Grand is an even more insidious and sweeping threat, one that may shake the very foundations of America. And when Robie and Reel find themselves up against an adversary with superior firepower and a home-court advantage, they’ll be lucky if they make it out alive, with or without Blue Man . . .

After reading ‘Absolute Power’ I have been a Baldacci fan. This book does is right up there with his best.
Oh boy love Baldacci and all of his characters. Hard to pick a favorite. Reading is effortless if U.N. put downable
As ALWAYS A GREAT JOB DONE BY DAVID Baldacci
Great book. Love Robie and Reel.
Not up to his usual standards. Unnecessarily gross and violent. Too many parts were totally unrealistic.
Not his best book. It was a decent book, but he has had better plot lines.
So realistic! Could actually be happening today.
David Baldacci never disappoints
never read a Baldacchi that wasn’t reallly good
I am a David Baldacci fan and this book was as interesting, action packed as is all his books.
Excellent as always
very good
It’s one of those books that you can’t put down and wish it didn’t end.
Have read most of Baldachi’s books. This was good and the usual page turner, just not one of my favorites. Cannot give more details as doing so would be spoilers. Perhaps the ending wasn’t so surprising as I have read so many of these action packed thrillers.
Exciting, well written and full of surprises. I always look for new books written by David Baldacci.
Outstanding author. Catches the readers interest from the very first page, first paragraph.
Awesome book as every one of Tom Clancy’s are!
Another great read from Baldacci
Good story. Only gave it 4 stars because I don’t like gratuitous sex scenes.
I usually enjoy Baldacci’s work but found this disappointing. There were too many narrow escapes and too convoluted a storyline.
