#1 New York Times bestselling author David Baldacci returns with his most breathtaking thriller yet Will Robie and Jessica Reel are two of the most lethal people alive. They’re the ones the government calls in when the utmost secrecy is required to take out those who plot violence and mass destruction against the United States. And through every mission, one man has always had their backs: their … always had their backs: their handler, code-named Blue Man.
But now, Blue Man is missing.
Last seen in rural Colorado, Blue Man had taken a rare vacation to go fly fishing in his hometown when he disappeared off the grid. With no communications since, the team can’t help but fear the worst.
Sent to investigate, Robie and Reel arrive in the small town of Grand to discover that it has its own share of problems. A stagnant local economy and a woefully understaffed police force have made this small community a magnet for crime, drugs, and a growing number of militant fringe groups.
But lying in wait in Grand is an even more insidious and sweeping threat, one that may shake the very foundations of America. And when Robie and Reel find themselves up against an adversary with superior firepower and a home-court advantage, they’ll be lucky if they make it out alive, with or without Blue Man . . .

Baldacci is by far my favorite author. His wring makes you feel like you know the characters as if they were people you have known for decades.
Will Robie is an old friend at this point. Book started sort of rough. First couple of chapters hard to get thru, but then the real story started.
Robie and Reel are sent to find Blue Man, a CIA agent who has disappeared while on vacation in northeast Colorado. Skin-heads, Neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and more diverse groups have settled in the wide open area, but which group is responsible for the disappearance of Blue Man.
Lots of gunfights, lots of dead bodies, lots of blood and gore and a little romance thrown in the mix. A good read. Will there be more Robie and Reel books?
The Will Robie series kept me wanting the next book. Action and suspense filled.
I am in awe of the writing of David Baldacci. I used to get him on CD but lately audible has been my ‘go to.’
I enjoyed the book because it has his usual technical details and beautiful descriptive narrative. If you are into voices, I’d swear that the guy that performs the audio version was Rod Serling of The Outer Limits series.
I thought he cheated us with what seemed to be a thinly disguised version of an earlier book (book 4 or book 3) in the Will Robie series where Will stumbles upon a mining operation that cleverly disguised as something more sinister. It was like a formula, plug and play.
However, even not up to a five star rating Baldacci is better than most I’ve read.
This has to end Will Robie and Jessica Reel’s unrequited love story and the possibility of their impossible romance. I mean those two have killed hundreds, just the karma alone would keep them from living happily every after.
Still, I plan to read the Will Robie series again.
From the first paragraph, you are caught up in the story, and the tension never lets up. Baldacci is one of my favorite authors. His writing is not formulaic, and I remain involved to the last sentence!
Will Robie and Scott Harvath are two of the best characters in literature today. I look forward to the books every time they are published. If you haven’t read any of these I suggest starting with the first and don’t look back!
A page turner, keep you at the edge of your seat. I just love the characters; can’t wait to see it on the big screen.
Haven’t read the 4 prior books in series, and didn’t need to get the plot. Very entertaining and fast past with twists. Looking forward to reading the others in series in future but it isn’t nesessary. I’m just someone who likes to complete everything. Worth reading again.
Love anything by David Baldacci.
I adore everything David Baldacci has written and this is another great one.
Balcacci at his best
always love Baldacci!
Vintage Baldacci – great heroes, with all their flaws, great character building throughout, lots of guns and action, word pictures that put you in the tunnel with the characters.
Right in line with his many other books. My kind of entertainment.
Another good Baldacci story! A realistic, action-packed page-turner. Suggest that he turn down the sex a bit; his talent as a wordsmith is more than adequate to hold the reader’s attention.
I’m a big fan of all of David Baldacci’s books. Love the two lead characters. Well drawn, grounded in details and nothing like other characters in this field.
I love, love, love Amos Decker. He’s one of the most interesting serial characters in modern crime fiction. Keep cranking them out, Mr. Baldacci!
End Game was a page turning action packed book with well thought out characters. It also had a little sex which never hurts.
Great
David Baldacci is a master mystery and suspense author, and End Game is no exception. The book combines the Jessica Reel and Will Robie series into a very satisfying thriller. As a mystery and thriller writer myself, I appreciate the craftsmanship that David Baldacci always brings to his novels.
