this is a page turning story , bailey and marco have to work together to find out who is killing people if you like suspense and romance you will want to read the book, I was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review. well written
Another heart thumping, blood pressure raising and heart attack warning read. This story had me in suspense. I didn’t know who was behind the killings. You have FBI, NCIS, JAG, Army CID, DoD and CIA all involved one way or another. It was amazing how she put all these agencies together. I enjoyed this story. The interactions among the characters were believable. Their dynamics worked for this story. I cannot wait to see how Marco and Bailey’s story evolves and how the others are going to come into their own. I want to see the role God will continue to play in their lives.
I received this book from the publisher and the opinions expressed are entirely my own.
The first book in the Capital Intrigue series, End Game starts it off well. There is a ton of action going on in this book. Multiple federal agencies along with several military agencies lends itself to be full of suspense and intrigue. I enjoyed learning a bit more of that world and their terminology. The story is fast-paced and well thought out. I was pulled along, anxious to know what was going to happen. I also enjoyed the relationship between the hero and heroine. They have instant chemistry, but because they work together they’re slow to allow anything to actual begin. I hope there’s more to their story in the next book. All in all, I enjoyed the book and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
What a fantastic book! I just finished this awesome novel!
Dylan has done an amazing job in bringing FBI, NCIS,and CIA together for a bang up job in a crime sovling adventure. It was full of twists and turns with just the right amount of of faith and romance added in.
I felt like I was watching a couple of my favorite shows on TV.
While I couldn’t connect to the characters Bailey and Marco made a great team. I loved Izzy and Joe too.
Dylan has done a wonderful job of pairing off these team members. I enjoyed getting to know each and every character including Aiden and Lexi.
I hope that Dylan will include a story just for these two.
I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn’t put it down!! It didn’t take me long to finish.
I liked how Bailey asked God for His help. Bailey shows us that we can certainly pray anywhere and ask God for .anything. How He answers we might not like but He will in His own time
I love it that He will never ever leave us or forsake us. He’s always there.
I’m so glad that we’re saved by Grace!
I can’t wait to see what Dylan comes out with next!
This is sure to be a fantastic series. It certainly started off great!
My thanks to Netgalley. NO compensations were received and all opinions are my own.
End Game is the first book in a new series by Rachel Dylan entitled Capital Intrigue. It centers around our nations Capital.
With the alphabet agencies teaming up to solve multiple murders, the clues get more and more confounding. The deeper the agents dig, the more complex and dangerous things become.
I have read several of Ms Dylan’s books and this one is my favorite. It is full of confounding clues and many players but they are not hard to keep straight because each one is unique.
I like that there are more than one blossoming romances to peek in on. The characters seem to realize that they need to take things slowly because the circumstances are fraught with danger. It is great that FBI agent Bailey Ryan and NCIS agent Marco Agostini have a faith to base their decisions on and they voice their prayers in difficult situations.
This was a page-turner with a great plot. The dialogue and action scenes were very realistic. Just the kind of Romantic Suspense I enjoy. Excellent beginning to a new series. Bring on the next one.
*I received a complimentary copy of this book from Bethany House on behalf of the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. All opinions are my own.*
End Game is a fantastic romantic suspense. A real page turning plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. Suspense fans will not want to miss this book. I received an arc from the publisher and Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.
Nice start to an intriguing series set in the nation’s capital! The author had me guessing throughout the entire book regarding who was behind the murders and what appeared to be a cover up conspiracy.
I enjoyed meeting new characters and watching as the team worked to uncover clues in their investigation. There was a light romantic thread between the main characters, Bailey and Marco, plus a couple of the side characters had potential relationships that added interest to the overall story. I enjoyed learning about Izzy’s background especially.
I really enjoyed reading End Game and look forward to the next book in the series.

Rachel Dylan is quickly becoming another of my go-to authors when I want to read a good action-packed suspense novel. End Game affirmed my choice with its nonstop action and lots of twists and surprises along the way.
I loved how Dylan portrayed the members of various agencies and how well they all worked together – both men and women with no one-upping between the agencies. These agents were shown to be dedicated to their jobs, with integrity and determination to solve the murders as quickly as possible. This riveting suspense had me second guessing the characters and on the edge of my seat at times. I appreciated the subtle Christian message that flowed throughout the narrative as well as the fact that the romantic relationship between Bailey and Marco did not overshadow the plot.
End Game was a fun and intriguing tale that left me sorry to reach its end. I look forward to the author’s next offering.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by the author through Bethany House. A favorable review was not required. All views expressed are my own.
Rachel Dylan has done it again. She has written a book that combines suspense, action and romance masterfully. I felt completely engaged in the book, I loved the characters and was anxiously waiting to see it all tie together in the end, and it did just that. End Game is a book where the person that appears to be guilty, is not guilty and the person that is supposed to be upholding the law is breaking it. It is also a book where two people who have put their career first find themselves falling for the other.
I loved Dylan’s Atlanta Justice series and this new series has me completely anticipating the next book. I cannot recommend this book enough. It is a book that will appeal to those that love a good drama and those that love a developing romance.
I received an ARC of this book and I am delighted to share my feedback.
This book is quite a ride so hang on to your seat!
It’s got a great plot that keeps the reader engaged to the last page. There are a lot of characters in this book, but the author did a great job of giving just enough suspense to be engaged…but not so much that you end up totally lost at the end. Yes, that has happened before. The never ending twists and turns are fascinating, and they also make sense. The plot seems a plausible one.
The characters are relatable and well developed. They don’t get lost in the suspense and drama of the read. I really loved that about this book. The romance was there, but well done not overdone.
I really enjoyed this book by Rachel Dylan. She has become an author I want to follow and must read. If you love mystery and suspense grab a copy of End Game…grab the book and take the ride!
I received this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
A new year brings a new series from Rachel Dylan, and phew, is there a lot happening in this one!
End Game is an intense read that moves quickly with multiple investigators, suspects, and government and military agencies. But don’t let that deter you because the plot of this book pulled me in from the get-go and kept me guessing until the final pages.
Dylan also left me with an itch to find out more about Bailey’s friends who play significant roles in End Game.

End Game
Rachel Dylan
Beginning of a new series and it has started with a bang!
Bailey and Marco are strong characters who are thrown together to solve a crime. This brings FBI and NCIS together. Who can they trust? Will they be able to solve who is responsible before others are killed?
A gripping story that draws you in and doesn’t let you go until the end.
I enjoy a thrilling chase through a suspense novel. I have tried Rachel Dylan before, and I didn’t enjoy her novels. But this is a new series, and I thought I would give her another try. Again, I was quite disappointed. The novel begins with three women talking, which I assume are the three heroines in this series. Then readers are taken to a dead body where I meet the hero of the story. The plot instantly jumps into the procedure of finding the killer of the dead body. Interview and then thinking. Then interview. Not quite the high action I want in a suspense novel. Because of these things, the plot left me wanting a lot more. The romance was told not shown to us. It didn’t grow organically between the two characters. Dylan had to tell us when they started to like each other, and it appeared to be not natural to the storyline. As for the characters, there wasn’t much transformation in their personalities over the course of the story. Also, I really didn’t empathize with any of them. They were static characters on a page moving around. Overall, End Game by Rachel Dylan did not read like a suspense novel. It read more like a report on the incident from someone who heard it third hand. I didn’t really enjoy this novel. Pick up a book by Lynette Eason. More much action.
I received a complimentary copy of End Game by Rachel Dylan from Bethany House Publishers, but the opinions stated are all my own.
Bailey is called to the morgue, along with her partner, where they are shortly thereafter introduced to NCIS agent Marco. Bailey is put on the joint effort of the NCIS and FBI in trying to find clues to the homicide and whether it ties in with another homicide, or a stand alone attack. We meet Izzy, Vivian (Viv) and Layla, along with Lexi, Derek, Tobias and Jay. As is typical with this author, I take each person introduced and try to figure out if they are as trustworthy as they seem. The puzzle pieces in this story come together with a lot of interaction between them. Set primarily in the DC area and southward, this is a book that won’t be put down until you reach the satisfying conclusion.
A complimentary copy was provided by Bethany House. A review was not required and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is a great book filled with suspense and intrigue from beginning to end. The characters were nice, decent, honest people who sought the truth, no matter where their case led. I liked the lead characters Bailey Ryan, FBI agent, and Marco Agostini of NCIS who are working together along with others to try to find the guilty party. There were three murders committed within days of each other, it seems there is a pattern. Possibly a serial killer? But the people are unknown to one another. Is it just coincidence? As Bailey and Marco begin to delve into these mysteries much unfolds. Nothing is as it seems. Many unanswered questions as they search into the little they have to go on. If you like intrigue and suspense, mixed with believable characters, an interesting story plot and a little romance, be sure to read End Game by Rachel Dylan…….I would like to thank Bethany House Publishers and NetGalley for providing a complimentary copy of End Game to read and review.
Rachel Dylan is one of my favorite Christian suspense writers, and this book is an incredible start to her new series. The storyline was suspenseful and kept me guessing all the way through the book. I felt as if I were watching an episode of “NCIS” on television. The story flowed together very well and the ending felt complete and not rushed. Although there’s plenty of action, the focus of the story is on gathering the details of the investigation, and I enjoyed that.
There are some resourceful women in this story, the main one being Bailey Ryan, an FBI agent. She shows that she has the intelligence, compassion, and tenacity to do whatever it takes to bring the criminals to justice. Her NCIS counterpart, Marco Agostini, comes to greatly respect Bailey and her investigative skills.
The cast of characters is strong and each fit their part very well. I also loved the faith in God that guides Bailey and Marco through the story. Bailey and Marco made a great team, and their beginning of their romance is a nice part of the story. I’m looking forward to reading more of their story in this series.
Fans of the Christian suspense category will enjoy this book.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
This book was the perfect way to start a new series. The name of the series,Capital Intrigue, is perfect. This had so many twists and turns. I was left guessing until near the end of the book as to who was the bad guy in the story. All of the characters are wonderful. It will be so much fun to see how each character comes to life during the next books in the series. I did not want to stop reading this story. I received a copy of this book from Bethany House for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.
Excellent start to a new romantic thriller series by Dylan. This book kept me turning pages as the different governmental agencies worked together to solve the murders of elite military men. I found myself rooting the team on and feeling their pain. I loved each of the characters and feel invested in their lives. I can’t wait until the next book.
*I was given a copy of this book by the publisher and this is my honest opinion.
I absolutely loved this brand new christian fiction suspense book! I love reading series and I can’t wait to read more in the “Capital Intrigue” series by this author.
DOD, NCIS, CIA, FBI and Navy Seals… they are all represented in this fast paced suspense story. Lots of twists and turns in this story and wasn’t too complicated to follow and had a believable plot. Great characters and clean romance.
FBI special agent Bailey and Agent Marco worked really well together and I liked getting to know them individually and as a team. They worked along side Layla, Izzy, Jay and Lexi as they encountered conspiracies, murder, coverups, and possibly agency moles.
This was SUCH a great book! Lots of energy, suspense and drama-highly recommend! Once you start reading, you won’t want to stop!
I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.
“End Game” is the first book in the Capitol Intrigue series. It was an entertaining read that kept me turning pages. I loved the action and twisting plot that kept me guessing what was going on right up until the very end. It isn’t often that I don’t figure out the mystery before the book tells you what is going on, so it was nice to be surprised. I found the book to be well written, with a nice pace. Faith was a big part of both Marco’s and Bailey’s lives and how they dealt with situations they found themselves in. I liked the secondary characters and look forward to getting to know them more as the series progresses.
I got a free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own and given voluntarily. No compensation was received for my review.
