Loved it!
I love Archer and Quinn so much. This is a classic brothers best friend book but with a fantastic group of characters that are wonderfully rounded. I love the Dawson family but there is something really really special about Archer and Quinn. A 2 part book, Cheat codes definitely ends on a cliff hanger but fear not End Game is just as wonderful. What a beautiful happily ever after ending with this one and yay for more of this wonderful cast of characters!
End Game, book two in the Dawson Family series, picks up right where book one ended. That was a very good thing since book one ended on a total cliffhanger. As I got deeper into End Game, I was concerned it was going to be another cliffhanger. Thankfully, it was not! Although, I feel there is way more to tell in Quinn and Archer’s story. I’m hoping they continue to feature prominently in the subsequent books in the series. Is their life perfect yet? Nope. But at least it’s headed in the right direction.
Quinn and Archer are characters that I was able to connect with immediately. I’m not really sure why other than they were simple but complex. They are characters who Emily Dawson wrote in a way that resemble everyday people going through life as though they were your neighbor or best friend. There was definitely drama, but nothing out of the ordinary of everyday life. The interactions between characters are real, raw, and relatable. This book cuts to the heart of life and the importance of the choices we make and the impact they have on our lives. It reminds us that giving up a lifelong dream for something that may be even better and more important can lead to unexpected treasures. It reminds of what are the most important priorities in life. Great story!
End Game is the conclusion to the first book called Cheat Codes. Must read in order!! I’m liking this new series the author has penned about the Dawson family. The story is fun, sweet, abit of angst and a whole lot of love. The family dialogue is so familiar to my own family, that it had my laughing. I liked Quinn and Archer they were so good together. They were in love, and the obstacles they had, weren’t going to stop them from being together. I enjoyed reading this story and I can’t wait to read the next Dawson family novel.
Love Quinn and Archer. They finally know that they like each other and now a baby is on the way but what does that really mean. They live in 2 different cities. He is finishing his residency and wants to pursue a fellowship to be a trauma surgeon. Quinn is enjoying her career as a programmer. There is also fear that the only reason they are together is because of the baby. What will it take for them to finally admit their true feelings? Will they find a middle ground to have a future together? I loved the ups and downs of two career driven individuals working through all of these challenges. Truly having to look at their lives to figure out what is most important to them then grabbing it without fear. Wonderful romance.
I absolutely love Archer and Quinn!
I’m so happy we got another book with more of their story. I could read about this couple forever. They’re just so perfect for each other. Of course their relationship is not without it’s fault and sacrifices, but their love overrules everything. Apart they are strong but together they are stronger.
I laughed, cried, smiled. This book was a beautiful escape. This story made me fall hard and fast for these characters. Of course Quinn and Archer…I mean what’s not to love. But I also fell even more in love with the Dawson clan, they are just so lovable.
I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for more of the Dawson’s <3
I was so excited to finish their story so much was still in the air and the complications of his brother and their careers. The problems they came up against ended up being so inconsequential and dragged on so if not for the writing I don’t think I would have finished it. Not because it was bad, but it just didn’t match the pace and intensity I expect from this author and need to keep me interested. Unfortunately this one is filled with their insecurities and make her out to be more of a whining princess until they finally use their words. Not to mention the drama surrounding the wedding, talk about bridezilla!! All in all it’s not a bad book it just doesn’t measure up to the first book and really that’s just my opinion.
