The first in an all new stand-alone trilogy set in Kristen Proby’s Big Sky world, Enchanting Sebastian will take your breath away!Turning thirty-five doesn’t mean much to most men. For Sebastian Wakefield, it’s the end of life as he knows it.When your father is the King of England, thirty-five is the year that a marriage will be arranged, a suitable bride cementing a future you didn’t choose. The … didn’t choose. The obvious solution for escaping the archaic laws of the throne is for Sebastian to leave the country. And where better to go than America?
Nina Wolfe has spent her career avoiding scandal. As a Hollywood publicist and minor celebrity in her own right, she knows exactly what it takes to keep the media at bay—and what will send them into a frenzy.
Prince Sebastian hiding out in Cunningham Falls, Montana is an unlikely story. Ending up in his bed, even more so. And keeping their arrangement out of the press might just be impossible. The ring on her finger is about to spark a firestorm that will change her life, and no professional spin will help Nina fit into the world of royalty.
Only love could write an enchanting new beginning—if they’ll let themselves fall.

DNF. I don’t care for royal romances but I normally love Kristen Proby books so I decided to try this one. I just couldn’t get into it. I didn’t buy into the premise that a future King would come hide out in a small western town in the US.

I feel like I’ve been waiting for Sebastian & Nina’s story forever. The anticipation was the worst but the story did not disappoint at all. It was romantic and fun, and just beautifully written. I have always had a weakness for books with any royalty (maybe that’s my inner princess) and I really loved this one.
It was a great story!
Nina is looking for a change but was never expecting it to come in the package of a Prince. Sebastian is looking to avoid an arranged marriage and he gets way more than he planned for. What a fun new series and I can’t wait to see where this leads!
A swoony love story from one of my faves!
ENCHANTING SEBASTIAN IS PURE KRISTEN PROBY!!!
ENCHANTING SEBASTIAN is exactly what Kristen Proby does best…..Take a gorgeous, sexy prince of England, and add a beautiful, sassy American woman, with a sweet, swoony romance and smoking hot chemistry….Neither of them are looking for love, but throw in a quickie royal wedding…and you have another Kristen Proby hit!!! Great start to a new series…..
A great new royal romance from Kristen Proby. I just fell in love with this couple!
OH MY GOODNESS!! Enchanting Sebastian is hands down my newest favorite from Kristen Proby! I loved this modern take on every girl’s fairytale! Sweet, steamy and full of so much heart this is a huge FIVE STARS! I cannot wait for more Royals! LOVED!!
I enjoyed Sebastian and Nina’s book. I love a good royal story. I loved visiting Cunningham Falls. Even though many of the characters have had roles in other books, you can read this as a stand alone. There are new characters to be introduced. The book is low angst, which is what I like. Nina’s a work in progress, but Sebastian holds steady. I think you will enjoy this book. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger.
So I love how thee title alludes to a Nina fighting for Sebastian when in reality, to me it was the other way around. A man that was yes enchanted by a woman who then he had to fight for. Fight to gain her trust, fight to make her see that she was more than worthy to be loved. While Sebastian is fighting for the woman he loves. Nina is falling harder and harder, basically she is freaking out.
This book is refreshing because, as I said to me, it is more than just about Sebastian, it is about how they are truly meant for one another and how something that started out as one thing evolved into something more than just love, it was everything.
I wasn’t sure what to think of Royals coming to Big Sky, but WOW! Kristen Proby drew me in from the start in this first book in her newest Big Sky spin-off series.
Nina and Sebastian were amazing together. Their journey had some bumps here and there, and my heart broke for some of the situations Nina went through. The chemistry between them was amazing.
The secondary characters added so much fun to this story, and I cannot WAIT to for the next book in this series.
This is an absolute must read!!!
One of the things that I love best about Kristin Proby’s books is the sense of community, of family, friends, and the familiarity and love that they create. Always a huge fan of her With Me In Seattle series, I quickly fell in love with Cunningham Falls, Montana, and the people that live there. Now, with ENCHANTING SEBASTIAN, and the addition of the Big Sky Royals, there’s even more to love.
I liked Nina immediately. She’s a go-getter, and, while she hasn’t been used to being part of a tight-knit group of friends, she’s finding her way in Cunningham Falls. When Sebastian Wakefield shows up with one heck of a prospect in mind, I’m not sure that there are many women who would agree to jump right in the way that Nina does.
Neither Nina nor Sebastian are looking for love when they make their match, but, oh, Fate…in typical Kristen fashion, it’s not long before the ‘L’ word is being bandied about, and hearts are falling, falling, falling. I fell in love with these characters and their story myself, because, who doesn’t love a royal love story?!
This is one of those books that just makes your heart happy, and I enjoyed it through and through. And, thanks to Kristen for laying the groundwork for another royal romance, this time between one fair princess and one heck of an alpha protector. ENCHANTING SEBASTIAN took me to my happy place and beyond, making it an easy 4.5 stars worth of a happily ever after, and a definite must-read.
Who wouldn’t love being swept off her feet by a prince? And even if Nina Wolfe and Prince Sebastian Wakefield’s ‘marriage’ is more of a business deal than a declaration of love, it’s clear there’s a spark between them and the fact that both of them are amendable to giving into their desire for one another, it keeps open the possibility of their relationship becoming something real.
It’s interesting to me just how cynical both Sebastian and Nina are when it comes to love. Neither believes in the notion…neither put any value in that feeling, but it was only a matter of time before the connection that they had from the beginning solidified and grew in a way that meant they could no longer deny their feelings, even if they weren’t ready to face that idea for quite some time.
I loved how easily Nina seemed to win over Sebastian’s family. She’s a strong and independent woman whose honesty is refreshing and endearing because she refuses to allow anyone to bring her down and that backbone definitely comes into play because of the whirlwind engagement and then marriage to a prince – an act that will keep her name and face in the media for the rest of her life.
I found what Sebastian did not to be forced to marry a woman of his father’s choosing commendable. The fact that he felt that the laws were archaic enough to run away from, making it clear that no one was going to make a monumental decision for his life other than himself and while he could have probably handled things differently, he fought for what and who he wanted.
One aspect of the story that I would have liked a bit more insight into is the reasons behind Nina so quickly agreeing to marry Prince Sebastian – a man she just met. I get that she wanted adventure and change, but I wanted to understand that impulsive decision as well as why she had also said she never wanted to get married and then turned around and got engaged to a man she didn’t know.
I adore Royal romance stories and add the fact that, as an avid reader of Kristen Proby’s Big Sky series, I get to reconnect with past characters and see how their lives have changed and families have grown make Nina and Sebastian’s story even more enchanting, and I’m so looking forward to Ellie’s story!

Just from her tone, I can tell this is going to be a doozy of a conversation. Pack your bags, we’re going on a guilt trip. “What are you up to, Mom?” “Oh, you know, just watching some television. I’m quite sure I have cancer, by the way.”
The women in Hollywood can be ruthless, but it seems these noble women are just plain savage. The mean-girl syndrome spans the globe.
It hasn’t been heaven. It’s heaven times a million. It’s like if heaven married chocolate and wine and they had spa babies. It’s the best ever.
His kiss is long and slow. Incredibly romantic. Is it possible to get pregnant from just a kiss? Because if so, I’m pretty sure I’m having triplets.
My Review:
I was a bit hesitant about picking this one up as the premise, cover, and title sounded a bit… I don’t want to say cheesy, but, yeah, that. But, on the other hand, I’ve read and thoroughly enjoyed this author a few times now so I took the gamble and am now feeling so smart and proud of myself for my excellent foresight ~ snort. Enchanting Sebastian was a sweet, sexy, and entertaining tale with a comfortable balance of insightful musings, witty humor, and observant narration. Written in my favorite dual POV, the storylines were interesting, easy to follow, well-paced, and cast with endearing and enticing characters from British bluebloods to small-town Montana.
It all starts with British royalty family(here everything is fake. The author never intended to imitate the real royal family.)
Sebastian Wakefield is about to turn 35, and by old law, if he is not married by that date, a wife will be chosen by the King (yes, here the monarch is the king, not the queen.)
Determined to choose a wife for himself, he travels to the hotel of a British friend (Jacob Baxter, married to Grace, owner of Whitetail Mountain) in Cunningham Falls, Montana.
In the same city, we find Nina Wolfe, sister of Hollywood star Christian Wolfe.
Nina works as a public relations and secretary for her brother, but since he married Jenna Hull, he’s been very quiet, making Nina’s job too easy.
With more free time, she intended to start a consierge business in the area to cater to wealthy residents and visitors, but her two future partners gave in.
Still looking for what to do with her free time, she stumbles upon Prince Sebastian in the area. Not that they had been formally introduced before, but anyone reading the newspaper would know who he is.
There is no instant chemistry on her part.
Oh yes, he was gorgeous, but he lived so far away and in a world so crammed that nothing else would ever cross her mind.
To Sebastian, though… Nina looked like the perfect one!
She was beautiful, attractive, elegant, not dazzled by fame and already knew how to deal with paparazzi and fake news.
The couple go out to dinner and it doesn’t take long for Sebastian to be totally honest with her… and to propose.
Madness??? TOTAL!!!
And that’s exactly why it looked interesting.
It would all be a big deal, even if they had not agreed what divorce would look like after a while.
One thing was certain: By marrying a non-British, Sebastian was signing his abdication letter to the throne (and he was next in line of succession, having 3 more siblings: Frederick; Callum and Eleanor.)
Next step: take Nina to London and introduce her to his – Royal – family.
Labels, rules, protocols, Nina goes through a real battery of tests to learn in record time (the wedding should be planned for 6 months, but Sebastian requires for 6 weeks!) what it was like to live as a royal.
This part, though a little troubled, was easy. The hard part was having to deal with so many people trying to sabotage you.
And in the midst of this adventure, Nina still had to deal with the distance from the people she loved most (lived in Montana) and an emotionally manipulative mother. Ah! And let’s not forget that the lovebirds had yet to accept the fact that the initial plan had already screw up.
No emotions involved? Forget it!
And everything gets even more critical when an accident causes the prince’s security service to take extreme action.
A great romance.
In a few moments, we even make a certain comparison between the story and the two Royal weddings – of William & Kate and Harry & Meghan, but all very subtle.
This is the first book in the series, already giving a light introduction to future novels, such as Prince Callum and Princess Eleanor (Frederick is already married).
I-Can’t-Wait!!!
5 stars
4.5 Stars!
Words can not express how excited I was to see Enchanting Sebastian land on my kindle. I mean, I fell in love with this book the moment I laid eyes on the cover and I was so happy to see this book live up to my expectations….
Enchanting Sebastian follows the story of Sebastian and Nina. To some, turing 35 is just another day. But, for Sebastian, turning 35 feels like the end of the world. You see, long ago, it was decided that if you weren’t married by the age of 35, then a marriage would be arranged for you. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the fact that Sebastian has no desire to be king. As his 35th birthday looms closer, Sebastian is overwhelmed and just has to get away from it all. So, get away from it all is what he does…..Nina has spent her entire life avoiding scandal. As a Hollywood publicist for her famous brother, she’s used to putting out fires and knows how to avoid the spotlight. The last thing Nina ever planned for was Sebastian. He turns her whole world upside down and has her thinking of things she never wanted. Suddenly, Nina finds herself engaged to none other than Prince Sebastian. If Nina thought her world was turned upside down before, she has no clue what she’s gotten herself into….
Enchanting Sebastian is the kind of book that you just want to curl up on the couch with and just spend your entire day getting lost in. From royals to a marriage of convience and falling in love when you’re not supposed to, this book checked off all of my boxes. I laughed. I swooned. I feel totally head over heels for Sebastian and Nina. I kid you not, my face hurt from smiling so much. Enchanting Sebastian was just the sweet, swoon worthy love story that I was looking for. It was light on the drama, heavy on the swoon and steam, and it kept me begging for more.
Enchanting Sebastian is the first book in the all new Big Sky Royals Series from author Kristen Proby, and I gotta tell you, this book knocked my socks off. I loved every second of this book from beginning to end. I loved the characters, the friendship and romance. I loved the cameos from new friends and old ones as well.
I think this series is off to a terrific start and I can not wait to see who this author has us falling head over heels for next.
I adore Kristen Proby’s Big Sky Series, and was eager to read a Royal themed romance. Enchanting Sebastian is a sweet, swoony and fun heartfelt romance.
Nina is intelligent, sassy, and strong willed. She has a ton of baggage from her upbringing when it comes to love, marriage and happy ever afters. She’s a publicist for her famous brother and is used to being in the publice eye.
Sebastian is the sexy, fun and charming heir to the throne of England determined to forge his own path and choose his own bride.
Told in a dual point of view the connection and chemistry this pair shares is undeniable.
For anyone who is a fan of the Big Sky series many previous character make cameo appearances throughout.
I was captivated by Eleanor and Callum and cannot wait to see more of them in future titles.
First off I’m a huge Kristen Proby fan!!!
Her writing just pulls to me on so many levels and this one was no different!
Enchanting Sebastian was a pure delight to read. Once I got my first taste I could not let it down, well till I had an all-nighter. But who cares about the loss of sleep. Sebastian was worth every second, that left my mind full of love, desire, and just dreaminess. Lord knows there is nothing like a Royal romance to put me in my zen state of mind!!!! Swoon-worthy I tell you!!!!
This book was about two people who wanted nothing to do with love but find it anyway. I love this author and this was another story written so well that I felt like this book flowed and I was friends at the end with these characters.
