Stephanie Willis no longer believed in happily ever after. At least not for herself.Max Vicente was determined to change her mind. After all, some fairy tales really do come true. This 20k word novella is part of the Alluring series but can be read as a standalone. Beware This is insta-love with an OTT nod to Cinderella. It’s meant to be slightly unbelievable but 100% fun. Due to sex and language, … unbelievable but 100% fun. Due to sex and language, it is recommended for persons over 18.

There is something about Sarah Curtis’ insta-love stories that I can’t seem to get enough of and Enchanted is no different. This re-telling of the modern Cinderella story between Stephanie and Max is sweet but hot at the same time. From the very first moment when Max helped Stephanie with car troubles one night, he could not get her out of his mind, even before knowing her name. Once they meet again, with the help of their mutual friends, Alexis and Jack, Max’s pursuit of Stephanie was on. Max was so sweet with Stephanie, I loved his protective instinct towards her. He was a bit on the bossy side at times, especially when it came to her well-being, but he also knew that she was skittish with relationships so he knew he had to go slowly with her, even if it killed him. But Max was determined to tear down those walls, and he did it worthy of an OTT alpha male. Once Stephanie was able to let go of past hurts, she too realized what a great guy Max was. I absolutely loved their story. It was a novella, but still full of sweetness and sexy scenes. And I absolutely loved that epilogue.
Enchanting is book #3.5 in the Alluring series. I have only read the first book in this series, Alluring, and fell head over heels with it. I’m so glad that I had already met Jack and Alexis because they are secondary characters in this book and it was kind of nice to revisit them. In this book you will meet Alexis’s best friend, Stephanie Willis. This is a Cinderella retelling and Stephanie is about to meet her very own prince charming.
Stephanie has been previously hurt in her relationship and hasn’t allowed herself to get serious since. She doesn’t trust men and won’t allow her heart to be broken like that again. She is a cocktail waitress at the hotel Alexis’s husband, Jack owns. She’s exhausted after work and when her car won’t start, a very, very good looking man comes to her rescue. But, she’s not interested. No matter how good looking he is.
“She watched his actions wondering if he really was the prince he claimed to be or a wolf in prince’s clothing.”
Max Vicente started with nothing and built a successful business for himself. He dated but never seriously. He always hoped he would know when he met the one. And he did. As soon as he saw her sitting in her car, he knew. It didn’t take long for him to find out who she was. He could tell she was wary, that he would need to go slow to gain her trust. But of one thing he was certain. She would be his.
This book was perfect. It was adorable. It was sexy and sweet and made my heart happy. I loved the fairy tale retelling aspect to it. The epilogue was also perfect. These two so deserved their happily ever after. Max had to work for it, but Steph was worth it. I need to go back now and read book two. There’s just something about this series that just gives me all the butterflies and all the warm and fuzzies. I definitely hope you will check it out!
