He was infatuated when they met, but now he’s enamored.Tristan Ellis might as well have seen a ghost when Lana Robinson stepped out of the truck and back into his life. Ten years ago, he stole her innocence and broke her heart, and she’s the last person he ever expected to see again. If the cold shoulder and icy glares she gives him are any indication, she hasn’t forgotten the last time she was at forgotten the last time she was at Black Stallion Ranch either.
He can’t lose her. He won’t. Not when fate has brought them back together again. This time, he will do whatever it takes to keep her. Even if it means giving up the only life he’s ever known.

Wow! What an amazing conclusion to this wonderful story of Lana & Tristan. 10 years on, all grown up and fate throws them together all over again! Can they get past old mistakes to finally be together?
I laughed, wanted to punch a certain English man, and had a few tears! Country boy and city girl making my heart melt and swoon, definitely one not to miss
We met Lana and Triston in book one, Infatuated, when they were eighteen. They fell in love during Lana’s two week vacation with her parents when they visited Black Stallion Ranch, which was owned by Triston’s parents. Their parting was hurtful and both went their separate ways. It’s now ten years later and Triston is running the ranch. When fate brings Lana back to the ranch for a few days, both their worlds take a jolt. Lana just wants to hurry and leave because she still feels the heartache of their breakup. But Triston is bound and determined to have his say. If she would just let him explain after all these years. But as usual, fate steps in with major hurdles.
This is a fabulous conclusion to the Black Stallion Ranch duet. It’s full of heartwarming, heartbreaking, romantic moments with lots of sexy heat, laughs and tears. Please note that the duet should be read in order, Infatuated then Enamored. Highly Recommend grabbing them up and simply enjoying. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. The author didn’t disappoint. The blips in the road at the beginning had me feeling there turmoil of how to proceed. Tristan & Lana had to complete all the opsticals in there path to get there happy ending.
4.5 stars
Enamored is the conclusion of the Black Stallion Ranch series. Lana and Tristan first met as teenagers when Lana’s family vacationed at the Black Stallion Ranch, which is owned by Tristan’s family. After a two week long summer fling, the two parted ways. Now, ten years later, Lana’s job, unexpectantly brings the two of them back together. Despite their denials, it is obvious the chemistry between them is still there, but so are the hurtful feelings of the past.
Enamored is a second chance romance, with plenty of twists and revelations along the way. Lana and Tristan’s story takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. As the two re-connect with one another, we’re reminded of that sweet, swoon worthy, first love, that we experienced in Infatuated, book 1 in the series.
The story is well written, engaging and keeps you turning those pages. Technically it could probably be read as a standalone, but to get the full effect, you really should read Infatuated first. If you enjoy second chance romances and a good heartwarming love story, then this series is for you. Will Lana and Tristan get it right this time? Will they get their HEA? You’ll have to read to find out.
I received an advanced reader’s copy Infatuated for an honest review.

A fabulous ending to this duet; a wonderful second chance, cowboy romance. I loved these characters from the moment I met them in Infatuated(Book 1 of this duet), and I was super excited to read more of them. Enamored is way better than Book one, it’s grabbed me and I was gone… hook, line, and sinker. It takes us on a journey with Lana and Tristan 10 years AFTER there original meeting, and what a wonderful story they have to tell. This duet is an absolute must read!
Fabulous follow up from Infatuated! Enamored brings us the conclusion to Tristan and Lana’s story and the author fabulously mended the heartache we felt from the cliffhanger at the end of book 1.
Enamored gives us the second chance romance we desired and I fell in love with these characters even more. After being devastated, Lana managed to pick herself up again and live without Tristan. Tristan, still 10 years later fills the hurt from letting her go, but still has the dream of making the ranch he loves a success by making the changes he and Lana talked about 10 years ago. Fate, of the best kind, works its magic and brings these two back together. Their story is one of many hurts and bumps along the way but their story is also one of lasting true love.
Hats of to Cara Wade with this wonderful duet.
Note – this book is NOT a stand alone and must be read after book one, Infatuated.
Oh man this book was even better than book 1! I didn’t want it to stop! I need more and more.
I was shocked it was 10 years later! Gah I hate love year gaps like that lol. But it worked for their story. I don’t think it would have worked if it didn’t skip years like that. They needed that time apart.
But once they surprisingly end up back together in the same place, boyyyy that was heated in both the good and bad way! I do have to say that I yelled at BOTH Tristan and Lana multiple times while reading. They frustrated me but ended up making up for it lol.
This whole duet was just incredible! I am so happy I got the chance to read it. Adding these to my top cowboy books/series, for sure!

Enamored is book two in the Black Stallion Ranch series. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read Infatuated first. I love Tristan and Lana’s story. I kind of expected this one to start closer to where we left off in the last one but way more years have gone by then I expected. Lana and Tristan are both done with college and making the way through adult life. Lana has become an architect and Tristan hires her firm to help design cabins. I was so excited to see these two back together. They have a rough start this time. There are issues from the pass that they have to work through. I was very surprise at who it was that told Tristan to stay away from Lana. Their relationship has it’s ups and downs and their story had me hooked.
Enamored is an incredible conclusion to Lana and Tristan’s love story.
We met these two on Infatuated (book 1) when they were 18 and Lana came to Tristan’s family ranch for vacations.
Ten long years have past since they’ve seen each other. By accident or coincidence Lana comes back to Black Stallion Ranch. From the moment they land eyes on each other you can feel their sparks and even though at the beginning they deny their feelings for each other their chemistry is too strong to fight.
Second chance at romance are one of my favorites tropes and Cara Wade did an amazing job in this book.
This book have so many scenes with so much emotion, extremely hot scenes, forgiveness and understanding, drama but ultimately it had LOVE.
The ending was the best and I can’t recommend this duet enough. Definitely a must read!!
I thought that this was a good second chance romance. There’s lots of emotion, tension and obstacles to be overcome as Tristan and Lana’s story unfolds. I liked the chemistry between these two and I found their romance quite heartwarming. I am freely posting a frank review.
This was such an amazing conclusion to Tristian and Lana’s story! I absolutely loved this book and didn’t want it to end! Between the two books, I absolutely loved seeing high school Lana and Tristan grow up into adult versions and seeing how their feelings, problems and everything else grow and change with them. I loved how well Cara Wade made their problems connected and also showed that some things don’t change over time as well. They both had a lot of growing up to do and figure out if they were willing to open themselves up again. I loved reading their story, it was adorable, frustrating, hot and so many other emotions that made me unable to put the book down! I really hope to see Holden’s book soon!!
There is a lot to love about this read, picking up 10 years after the first book you get to jump right back into it with Tristan and Lana. The chemistry that was there when they were teenagers is just as strong now, but they have to overcome the heartache and mistakes of their past.
Enamored has loads of love and steamy chapters to keep you turning those pages faster and faster. There was no way I could put the book down once I started it. I was sucked in! Being 10 years later you get to see Lana and Tristan as adults, living their own successful lives and it was really great how Cara Wade wrote them. Each were obviously more mature, but you could tell their love for each other never waned, regardless of the years. I would love to see more from this series. ~Cough~ Holden ~Cough~ Loads that could still come from the black Stallion Ranch!

I am so happy that we didn’t have to wait long for the second part of the duet and story of Lana and Tristan.
Tristan and Lana first meet in Infatuated when Lana spends two weeks on the Black Stallion Ranch with her family. In that time she falls in love with the son of the Ranchers, Tristan.
Unfortunately this Love is not made to last and both parties go on with their lives. Now ten years later is when this story picks up. Lana is a hard working and successful architect. Her company assigns her to head to Wyoming and build cabins for the Black Stallion Ranch. She can’t get out of this job and. Is hoping to not have to face Tristan while she is there. The heartache never left her mind and he remains in her heart. When they reunite for the project the sparks fly but the past hurt remains.
Lana is a real and relatable character that was dimensional and very likable. Tristan is also real and not perfect. Their story and second chance at love was well written and a great duet.
I highly recommend this duet that I am volunteering to leave a review for.
Enamored By Cara Wade
10 years. Ten years can seem like forever, especially missing the one who you let get away. When Lana walks back into Tristian’s life it’s all about business. She remembers their teenage love, and also the heartbreak. She is determined to keep her head on straight and her feelings in check. Tristian on the other hand sees this as an opportunity he won’t let pass him by. He wants her back and he’s going to work for it.
This is an amazing ending to this duet. A wonderfully written, second chance romance. With twists and turns, this story kept me chasing the next page. Awesome!!
Lana is back and Tristan must show her that he has made a mistake and wants to be with her. But the only problem is that Tristan keeps making mistakes. Can he prove to Lana once and for all that he trusts her and they are meant to be together.
Loved this conclusion to Lana and Tristan’s story and it was such an amazing ride from page 1. Their story continues 10 years after the events in book 1 and it was so good. This book will have you yelling at, crying with and falling in love with the characters all over again. The chemistry and attraction that was between the Lana and Tristan was still there even after all these years and it was intense. This story takes you an emotional roller coaster and I was happy to be along for the ride. Loved this story and I can’t wait to read what is coming next from this author.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book and am leaving an honest review.
Tristan hasn’t seen Lana in 10 years – 10 years of heartache and longing. So why does he act like a fool when she finally comes back into his life?
Cara is a wizard of imagery! She pulls you in with amazing characters, a storyline that’s both easy to follow and enchanting, and an ending that makes it worthwhile!
After reading the first Black Stallion Ranch book, I could not wait to pick up this book to know how the story of Lana and Tristan continued!
Flash forward ten years and Lana and Tristan have grown up. Tristan is part owner of the Black Stallion Ranch, wanting to make it a success, and to do so, he needs the help of an architect.
Lana has been working her ass of to become the best architect she can be, securing a job at a famous firm. So when she is hired to update cabins at the Black Stallion Ranch, she feels nauseous, determined to refuse the job for fear of coming face to face with the one man she has never been able to forget.
But to Lana’s dismay her boss refuses to give the job to anyone else, knowing that Lana has always wanted to take on such and project, so she flies to Wyoming, hoping that Tristan’s parents will be there to greet her.
When Tristan spots Lana again for the first time, it is a painful instant spark of electricity. She is beautiful and all the memories of their time together as teenagers comes flooding back. He has one goal, and that’s not to muck it up, but can he keep his promise?
These books are so good and have lots of drama and twists and turns. Lana has an underlying insecurity about her which enables you to relate to her as a character, but Tristan is just too sweet and every time he puts his foot in it, you want to just yell at him!
A sweet romance that kept me on my toes, and will be the perfect read for those who love ranch romances, and second chances.
What a terrific end to this duet! I was left heartbroken for Lana at the end of book 1 and not really sure what Tristan was thinking the way he let things end the way that they did.
10 years ago he let her go, now she is suddenly back in his life and neither one expected to ever see each other again. I was dying to find out what was going to happen between them and could not put this book down.
This book hooked me and didn’t let me go until it was over. I loved these characters and thought this story line was wonderful.
Really this book has everything I look for in a great book. Wonderful writing,
fabulous characters, unique story line and amazing chemistry.
A must read book for sure!

I read this book so fast and now I feel empty. I got everything I wanted and a little more but I still feel a little bereft. It’s like the story wasn’t long enough or I would have liked to go more in depth. (I guess this is a compliment to the author, that I’m hungry for more).
Their road to a happy ending is like a winding country road, twisting and with several road dumps. The attraction is as strong as ever but it’s hard to get to know and trust when you live in different places. Something has to change. One or both will have to sacrifice for love. But is it considered a sacrifice when you’re in love?
There is a few characters that need their own story and this universe can easily be developed into a series.
